[Metadata] National Bridge Inventory for Hawaii as of December 2020. This dataset is a subset of the National Bridge Inventory (NBI), which is a collection of information (database) describing the more than 615,000 of the Nation's bridges located on public roads, including Interstate Highways, U.S. highways, State and county roads, as well as publicly-accessible bridges on Federal and Tribal lands. The inventory data present a complete picture of the location, description, classification, and general condition data for each bridge. NOAA Abandoned Vessel Project Data for Kauai. Abandoned vessels pose a significant threat to the NOAA Trust resources through physical destruction of coral habitats and dispersion of toxic chemicals and gear. The Damage Assessment Center (DAC) is addressing this issue by creating a comprehensive database of abandoned vessels. These vessels can potentially threaten coral ecosystems in U.S. waters. Current databases are limited in their scope or definition of abandoned vessels. The inventory is a compilation of existing data from sources such as NOAA, the U.S. Coast Guard, States, Territories and the maritime industry, as well as original data from maps and personal interviews with local sources.

[Metadata] NOAA Marine Protected Areas for Hawaii and vicinity, 2024 version. Downloaded from ArcGIS Online (https://noaa.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=eb2b36aecb004f14ac29cf0260624291#overview) by Hawaii Statewide GIS staff, Mar 14, 2025. Projected to Hawaii Statewide GIS standard projection (Nad 83 UTM Zone 4, HARN) and clipped to Hawaii and the Pacific. The MPA Inventory is a comprehensive catalog that provides detailed information for existing marine protected areas in the United States. The inventory provides geospatial boundary information (in polygon format) and classification attributes that seek to define the conservation objectives, protection level, governance and related management criteria for all sites in the database. The comprehensive inventory of federal, state and territorial MPA sites provides governments and stakeholders with access to information to make better decisions about the current and future use of place-based conservation. The information also will be used to inform the development of the national system of marine protected areas as required by Executive Order 13158. For more information, visit the NOAA MPA Inventory webpage (https://marineprotectedareas.noaa.gov/dataanalysis/mpainventory/) or email mpainventory@noaa.gov. This data release is a compilation of the locations of airborne geophysical surveys in the United States. The inventory documents public airborne geophysical surveys primarily flown by or contracted by the USGS from 1943 to present. In addition, surveys from the State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys (DGGS): Airborne GeophysWeb, the Bureau of Land Management, the Department of Energy and other state agencies have also been included. The surveys have contributed to studies under USGS programs including Water, Geologic Mapping, Minerals, Energy, Environmental Health, Ecosystems, Hazards, and Climate. This dataset contains locations for known and inventoried surveys, shows the footprints of the survey area, and summarizes data type (aeromagnetic (M), electromagnetic (EM), radiometric (R), gravity (G), and very low frequency EM (V)) and survey details. This dataset continues inventory and documentation efforts including digitiz ...
