Data is released by the US Census Bureau following a Decennial count that is used in support of compliance with Public Law 94-171 and the Voting Rights Act (VRA). Public Law (P.L.) 94-171, enacted in 1975, directs the Census Bureau to make special preparations to provide the redistricting data needed by the fifty states. Within a year following Census Day, the Census Bureau must send the data agreed upon to redraw districts for the state legislature to each state's governor and majority and minority legislative leaders and those state officials legally responsible for statewide redistricting such as commission chairs. 3D buildings in City Council District 9 of the City of Dallas.The buildings were created from Lidar data obtained from the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG). Lidar was collected between January 26, 2021 and February 7, 2021, while no snow was on the ground and rivers were at or below normal levels with a nominal pulse spacing (NPS) of 0.50 meter. ArcGIS Pro 3.0.x was used to create the buildings from classified las files received from NCTCOG.
