The City of Dallas zoning map provides information on land division districts that have uniform zoning regulations including those on land use, height, setbacks, lot size, density, coverage, and floor area ratio (FAR). It includes multiple zoning layers, as well as additional layers, such as Roads, Aerial Photos and Tax Parcels, that can be used to find specific areas of the City. Zoning general classification districts with labels.

There are over 200 violations that are reported in the 311 system that affect the quality of neighborhood life. The most common are high weeds, litter, junk motor vehicles, and bulky trash. Some are more health related like mosquitoes. Others are environmental such as water conservation. The annual volume of reported code violations is approximately 200,000 annually. For the purpose of this data set, cases are grouped into four categories: structure, nuisance, zoning and other.

This web map feeds the Dallas City Info Application, which is designed for residents to find City of Dallas information about a location and its surrounding area by searching for an address or zooming to an area of interest. Results will include information about features of interest within the pop-up info section of the application.This web map uses arcade scripting to configure layers pop-up information and display information from different layers when users click on Tax Parcel features/polygons. The layers included in the web map and application are listed below. The web map includes data about the City of Dallas Tax parcels, Council Areas, Base Zoning, Police Beats, Fire Districts, Sanitation Days of Service, and Brush Routes.

This layer represents zoning district boundaries from the 1920–1947 timeframe. Due to the unavailability of some historical paper zoning maps, certain areas may have gaps where data could not be accurately reconstructed. Despite these limitations, the layer provides valuable insight into historical zoning patterns and land use regulations during this period. For a comprehensive list of available attributes, navigate to the "Data" tab and select "Fields" in the top right corner. This will display all fields included in the dataset. If you want to examine attributes for individual records, go to the "Data" tab and choose "Attribute Table" in the top left corner.
