TwitterThis StoryMap series contains a collection of four Dashboards used to display active project data on the Connecticut road network. Dashboards are used to display Capital Projects, Maintenance Resurfacing Program (MRP) projects, and Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) projects, as well as a dashboard to display all data together.Dashboards are listed by tabs at the top of the display. Each dashboard has similar capabilities. Projects are displayed in a zoomable GIS interface and a Project List. As the map is zoomed and the extent changes, the Project List will update to only display projects on the map. Projects selected from the Map or Project List will display a Project Details popup. Additional components of each dashboard include dynamic project counts, a Map Zoom By Town function and a Project Number Search.Capital Project data is sourced from the CTDOT Project Work Areas feature layer. The data is filtered to display active projects only, and categorized as "Pre-Construction" or "Construction." Pre-Construction is defined as projects with a CurrentSchedulePhase value of Planning, Pre-Design, Final Design, or Contract Processing.Maintenance Project data is sourced from the MRP Active feature layer. Central Maintenance personnel coordinate with the four districts to develop an annual statewide resurfacing program based upon a variety of factors (age, condition, etc.) that prioritize paving locations. Active MRP projects are incomplete projects for the current year.LOTCIP Project data is sourced from the CTDOT LOTCIP Projects feature layer. The data updates from LOTCIP database nightly. The geometry of the LOTCIP projects represent the approximate outline of the projects limits and does not represent the actual limits of the projects.

TwitterMap used in the corresponding RIDE Mapper Dashboard (Item Details) within the RIDE Mapper (Item Details).Users can view any land use or resource use restrictions imposed on a property that has been provided to EGLE. Users can search and display sites based on city, county, EGLE District, and/or legislative districts. Internal map functions allow the user to view and search for sites within a certain distance, lot of land, or stream segments. RIDE Mapper replaces Environmental Mapper which served as RRD's mapping system since the early 2000's. RIDE Mapper maintains the most often used data and tools from Environmental Mapper, while being more responsive and flexible for future enhancements.Disclaimers:Information provided through RIDE Mapper is based in part on submittals provided to EGLE by the owner/operator or their consultant. The information may not be reflective of actual site and tank data due to various reasons, such as failure to report changes, an error in reporting ownership changes, and data entry errors.Mapped locations have been identified by address matching, the use of global positioning systems (GPS), and in some cases drawing boundaries based on legal descriptions provided in documents submitted to EGLE. Mapped points and areas are intended to show a good representation of the feature relative to the aerial photograph, basemaps, and other reference layers; however, these features are not survey-grade and should not be used as such. See the metadata for each map layer to obtain additional data quality information and use limitations. Some sites exist in the RIDE database, but they are missing latitude and longitude information, so these sites will not appear in RIDE Mapper. See the Inventory of Facilities in the RIDE database for the complete list of sites known to EGLE.EGLE does not make any representations regarding the accuracy of the information, nor does it accept any responsibility for errors or omissions contained therein.Questions about map content: EGLE-RRD-RIDE-Mapper@Michigan.govMap Feedback: EGLE-Maps@Michigan.gov

TwitterIn this tutorial you will create a simple dashboard using ArcGIS Dashboards. The dashboard uses a map of medical facilities in Los Angeles County (sample data only) and includes interactive chart and list elements.A dashboard is composed of several elements that work together. Each element is unique and has its own unique configuration settings. The dashboard will include four elements; a map, serial chart, list, and header. The map will be configured to interact with the chart and list, and the list will be configured to interact with the map.

TwitterThis web map supports the visualization and interpretation of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) surveillance data across the province. It is designed for use within a public-facing ArcGIS Dashboard to aid in monitoring spatial trends and communicating surveillance efforts. The map contains the following data layers:CWD Mandatory Surveillance Area: Displays the boundary of the current mandatory CWD management and surveillance region. All cervid harvests within this area must have a sample submitted to a Manitoba Wildlife Health biological depot.Biological Sample Depots: Locations where hunters can submit harvested cervid samples for CWD testing, represented as point features.Sampling Distribution Heat Map: A density-based heat layer visualizing the spatial intensity of cervid sample submissions, providing insight into survey coverage and effort.Positive Case Locations: Symbolized point features indicating where confirmed positive CWD test results were detected in Manitoba. This map is intended to facilitate understanding of chronic wasting disease, guide future sampling efforts, and inform stakeholders and the public.

An SHSP (Strategic Highway Safety Plan) is a statewide-coordinated safety plan that provides a comprehensive framework for reducing highway fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads. The SHSP strategically establishes statewide goals, objectives and key emphasis areas developed in consultation with federal, state, local and private sector safety stakeholders. The SHSP plan process is a requirement of the Federal Highway Administration's Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). In general, the federal HSIP requires that state transportation departments develop an SHSP that: includes consultation from a variety of stakeholders during the development process, analyzes and makes effective use of crash data, addresses the 5Es (engineering, enforcement, education, emergency services and everyone) plus management and operations, considers the safety needs of all public roads, describes a program of projects or strategies to reduce or eliminate safety hazards, is implemented and evaluated.
