The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This dataset contains the spatial and non-spatial (attribute) components of the Gippsland bioregion Asset List as two .mdb files, which are readable as an MS Access database or as an ESRI Personal Geodatabase.

Under the BA program, a spatial assets database is developed for each defined bioregional assessment project. The spatial elements that underpin the identification of water dependent assets are identified in the first instance by regional NRM organisations (via the WAIT tool) and supplemented with additional elements from national and state/territory government datasets. All reports received associated with the WAIT process for Gippsland are included in the zip file as part of this dataset.

Elements are initially included in the preliminary assets database if they are partly or wholly within the bioregion's preliminary assessment extent (Materiality Test 1, M1). Elements are then grouped into assets which are evaluated by project teams to determine whether they meet the second Materiality Test (M2). Assets meeting both Materiality Tests comprise the water dependent asset list. Descriptions of the assets identified in the Gippsland bioregion are found in the "AssetList" table of the database. In this version of the database only M1 has been assessed.

Assets are the spatial features used by project teams to model scenarios under the BA program. Detailed attribution does not exist at the asset level. Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of "AssetList_database_GIP_v1p2_20150130.doc", located in the zip file as part of this dataset.

The "Element_to_Asset" table contains the relationships and identifies the elements that were grouped to create each asset.

Detailed information describing the database structure and content can be found in the document "AssetList_database_GIP_v1p2_20150130.doc" located in the zip file.

Some of the source data used in the compilation of this dataset is restricted.

    Description

This table contains information on the balance sheet of the general government sector. The information is limited to financial assets and liabilities. For each reporting period the opening and closing stocks, financial transactions and other changes are shown. Transactions are economic flows that are the result of agreements between units. Other changes are changes in the value of assets or liabilities that do not result from transactions such as revaluations or reclassifications. The figures are consolidated which means that flows between units that belong to the same sector are eliminated. As a result, assets and liabilities of subsectors do not add up to total assets or liabilities of general government. For example, loans of the State provided to social security funds are part of loans of the State. However, these are not included in the consolidated assets of general government, because it is an asset of a government unit with a government unit as debtor. Financial assets and liabilities in this table are presented at market value. The terms and definitions used are in accordance with the framework of the Dutch national accounts. National accounts are based on the international definitions of the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010). Small temporary differences with publications of the National Accounts may occur due to the fact that the government finance statistics are sometimes more up to date.

Data available from: Yearly figures from 1995, quarterly figures from 1999.

Status of the figures: The figures for the period 1995-2023 are final. The figures for 2024 and 2025 are provisional.

Changes as of 24 June 2025: The figures for the first quarter of 2025 are available. Figures for 2023 and 2024 have been adjusted due to updated information. The figures for 2023 are final. In the context of the revision policy of National accounts, the dividend tax has been adjusted as of the fourth quarter of 2006. The revised registration aligns more closely with the accrual principle of ESA 2010.

Changes as of 10 April 2025: Due to an error made while processing the data, the initial preliminary figures for the government financial balance sheet in 2024 were calculated incorrectly. This causes a downward revision in other accounts payable.

When will new figures be published? Provisional quarterly figures are published three months after the end of the quarter. In September the figures on the first quarter may be revised, in December the figures on the second quarter may be revised and in March the first three quarters may be revised. Yearly figures are published for the first time three months after the end of the year concerned. Yearly figures are revised two times: 6 and 18 months after the end of the year. Please note that there is a possibility that adjustments might take place at the end of March or September, in order to provide the European Commission with the most actual figures. Revised yearly figures are published in June each year. Quarterly figures are aligned to the three revised years at the end of June. More information on the revision policy of Dutch national accounts and government finance statistics can be found under 'relevant articles' under paragraph 3.

Note that this compilation is based on an extensive search, however, we acknowledge that there is a significant discrepancy in data coverage/comprehensiveness among the different industries. The industry "Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Good Production" is by far the most complete, while other are clearly far from complete, for example, “Construction Materials”, "Agriculture (animal products)”, “Agriculture (plant products)”, “Oil, Gas & Consumable Fuels”, “Water utilities / Water Service Providers”, “Hospitality Services”, “Fishing and aquaculture”. Therefore, any comparison between industries should take this coverage/comprehensiveness bias into consideration.

    Description

    Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. This dataset was derived from multiple datasets. You can find a link to the parent datasets in the Lineage Field in this metadata statement. The History Field in this metadata statement describes how this dataset was derived.

Asset database for the Hunter subregion on 24 February 2016 (V2.5) supersedes the previous version of the HUN Asset database V2.4 (Asset database for the Hunter subregion on 20 November 2015, GUID: 0bbcd7f6-2d09-418c-9549-8cbd9520ce18). It contains the Asset database (HUN_asset_database_20160224.mdb), a Geodatabase version for GIS mapping purposes (HUN_asset_database_20160224_GISOnly.gdb), the draft Water Dependent Asset Register spreadsheet (BA-NSB-HUN-130-WaterDependentAssetRegister-AssetList-V20160224.xlsx), a data dictionary (HUN_asset_database_doc_20160224.doc), and a folder (NRM_DOC) containing documentation associated with the Water Asset Information Tool (WAIT) process as outlined below. This version should be used for Materiality Test (M2) test.

The Asset database is registered to the BA repository as an ESRI personal goedatabase (.mdb - doubling as a MS Access database) that can store, query, and manage non-spatial data while the spatial data is in a separate file geodatabase joined by AID/ElementID.

A report on the WAIT process for the Hunter is included in the zip file as part of this dataset.

Elements are initially included in the preliminary assets database if they are partly or wholly within the subregion's preliminary assessment extent (Materiality Test 1, M1). Elements are then grouped into assets which are evaluated by project teams to determine whether they meet the second Materiality Test (M2). Assets meeting both Materiality Tests comprise the water dependent asset list. Descriptions of the assets identified in the Hunter subregion are found in the "AssetList" table of the database.

Assets are the spatial features used by project teams to model scenarios under the BA program. Detailed attribution does not exist at the asset level. Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of "HUN_asset_database_doc_20160224.doc ", located in this filet.

The "Element_to_Asset" table contains the relationships and identifies the elements that were grouped to create each asset.

Detailed information describing the database structure and content can be found in the document "HUN_asset_database_doc_20160224.doc" located in this file.

Some of the source data used in the compilation of this dataset is restricted.

The public version of this asset database can be accessed via the following dataset: Asset database for the Hunter subregion on 24 February 2016 Public 20170112 v02 (https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/9d16592c-543b-42d9-a1f4-0f6d70b9ffe7)

    Description

    Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

This Central West (CEN) dataset contains v2.2 of the Asset database (CEN_asset_database_20160216.mdb), a Geodatabase version for GIS mapping purposes (CEN_asset_database_GISOnly_20160216.gdb), the draft Water Dependent Asset Register spreadsheet (BA-NIC-CEN-130-WaterDependentAssetRegister-AssetList-v20160216.xlsx), a data dictionary (CEN_asset_database_doc_20160216.doc), a folder (Indigenous_doc) containing documentation associated with Indigenous water asset project, a folder (NRM_DOC) and a folder (NRM_DOC) containing documentation associated with the Water Asset Information Tool (WAIT) process as outlined below.

The Asset database supersedes the previous version of Asset database for the Central West subregion on 21 August 2015 (GUID: 5e90d2ee-a551-48c5-ba48-83e3a907fcf9). Updates to this database compared to the previous database include:

    V2.2

    (1) Total number of registered water assets was increased by 6 due to:

    (a) The 2 assets changed M2 test to "Yes" from the review done by Ecologist group.

    (b) 4 indigenous water assets from OWS were added.

    V2.1

    (2) Change "PAE_Region" to "Central West BA subregion boundary" for 149 NSW TS assets in field PAE_Region of table assetlist

The Asset database is registered to the BA repository as an ESRI personal goedatabase (.mdb - doubling as a MS Access database) that can store, query, and manage non-spatial data while the spatial data is in a separated file geodatabase joined by AID/Element ID/BARID. All reports received associated with the WAIT process for Central Westare included in the zip file as part of this dataset. Elements are initially included in the preliminary assets database if they are partly or wholly within the subregion's preliminary assessment extent (Materiality Test 1, M1). Elements are then grouped into assets which are evaluated by project teams to determine whether they meet the second Materiality Test (M2). Assets meeting both Materiality Tests comprise the water dependent asset list.Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of " CEN_asset_database_doc_20160216.doc ", located in the zip file as part of this dataset. The "Element_to_Asset" table contains the relationships and identifies the elements that were grouped to create each asset. Detailed information describing the database structure and content can be found in the document " CEN_asset_database_doc_20160216.doc" located in the zip file. Some of the source data used in the compilation of this dataset is restricted.

The public version of this asset database can be accessed via the following dataset: Asset database for the Central West subregion on 16 February 2016 Public (https://data.gov.au/data/dataset/546107ad-27b0-4432-b17e-8876e7c9769d)

    Dataset History

    VersionID Date Notes

    1.0 29/04/2015 Initial database

    2.0 21/08/2015 v2 - additions as follows:

    (1) At the request of NSW OEH, data identifying species and ecological communities listed under NSW legislation has been included in two additional attribute tables "NSW_TS" and "NSW_TEC" (a total of 149 new elements and assets, AIDs 70001-70149). However, given the extremely course catchment-scale resolution of the data as compared to the relatively fine-scale of the PAE, it is essentially a non-spatial list of species and communities which may or may not occur within the PAE. As the data was unable to be meaningfully used as a spatial dataset it was subsequently "turned off" at decision M0 (not fit for purpose), with the decision reflected in the "Assetlist"and "AssetDecisions" tables.

    (2) The database has been updated to include M2 (water dependency) test results from the CEN project team, and a draft "Water-dependent asset register and asset list" spreadsheet (BA-NIC-CEN-130-WaterDependentAssetRegister-AssetList-V20150814.xlsx) has been created and is included in this dataset.

    (3) Four queries have been added to the non-spatial database (mdb) (Find_All_Used_Assets, Find_All_WD_Assets, Find_Amount_Asset_in_Class and Find_Amount_Elements_in_Class) to assist project teams to identify and calculate figures to be published.

2.1 29/09/2015 "Change ""PAE_Region"" to ""Central West BA subregion boundary"" for 149 NSW TS assets in field

                               PAE_Region of table assetlist"

2.2 16/02/2016 "Total number of registered water assets was increased by 6 due to:

                                 (a) The 2 assets changed M2 test to "Yes" from the review done by Ecologist group.

    Description

This table contains information on the balance sheet of the general government sector. The balance sheet shows stock levels of assets and financial liabilities, as well as net worth of the general government sector. Assets are either financial (e.g. loans) or non-financial (e.g. non-residential buildings). The stock of assets equals the sum of the stock of financial liabilities and net worth. Stocks of assets and liabilities in this table are mostly valued at market value. This is the value of the asset or liability as if it were being acquired or sold on the date to which the balance sheet relates. When there are no observable market prices, estimates are made for the market value. Financial assets and liabilities that are not commonly traded on a market, such as cash, deposits, loans and other accounts receivable/payable are valued at nominal value. The figures in this table are consolidated at the general government level. This means that stocks between units that both belong to the general government sector are eliminated. Data available from: 1995 Status of the figures: The figures for the period 1995-2022 are final. The figures for 2023 are provisional. Changes as of 23 September 2024: Annual figures for 2023 are available. The financial assets and liabilities and the net saving and capital transfers of general government for 2022 have been revised due to updated information. In the context of the revision policy of the National accounts the annual figures from 1995 of the financial accounts of general government have been revised. The annual figures for 2022 are final. When will new figures be published? New provisional data are published in July or August after the end of the reporting year. The previous provisional figures will become final and previous final figures can be revised at the same time. More information on the revision policy of National Accounts can be found under 'relevant articles' under paragraph 3.

    Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

The Gloucester Asset database v7 supersedes the previous version of the Asset database (Asset database for the Gloucester subregion on 12 September 2014, d0c21c5c-1b30-4aae-933a-71145b935cc6). The dataset described here was updated to include the Receptor data from Gloucester assessment team. The relevant tables of ReceptorList, tbl_Receptors_GDE, tbl_Receptors_SW, tbl_Receptors_GW and tbl_Receptors_SW_Catchment_Ref_Only and the spatial data of GM_GLO_ReceptorList_pt were added to this version. The location of Receptor is from GDA 94 datum.

The Asset database is registered to the BA repository as an ESRI personal goedatabase (.mdb - doubling as a MS Access database) that can store, query, and manage non-spatial data while the spatial data is in a separated file geodatabase joined by AID/Element ID. Assets meeting both Materiality Tests comprise the water dependent asset list. Descriptions of the assets identified in the Gloucester subregion are found in the "AssetList" table of the database. In this version of the database only M1 has been assessed. Assets are the spatial features used by project teams to model scenarios under the BA program. Detailed attribution does not exist at the asset level. Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of "GLO_asset_database_doc_20150528.doc ", located in the zip file as part of this dataset. Description

This dataset provides a comprehensive list of council owned land and building assets which are deemed corporately owned. Some assets such as investment properties, void properties, and office accommodation are managed on behalf of the whole council by Asset Management (corporate landlord), whilst others which generally support front line services are managed by the Services themselves (tenants).

    Definitions and information

    • “Lease in” and “Leased in” means a property which the council rents from any external company or organisation
    • “Lease out” and “Leased out” means a council property rented out to an external company or organisation
    • “Surplus” means that the council has determined that it no longer requires the asset and whilst usually applied to vacant properties this is not necessarily the case
    • “ Vacant” means not currently used and it’s future has yet to be determined
    • “Vacant temporarily” means one council user has vacated and another council user will be moving in
    • “Vacant surplus” means one council user has vacated and it has been determined that the asset is no longer required
    • There are around 200 properties without a status, this is because the information was not available at the time when the data was prepared. It is likely that these properties are “Council occupied”
    • Improved descriptions and omissions will be addressed at the next revision

In the spirit of openness and transparency, this is a first attempt at producing this list and it is possible that there may be some errors and omissions, the aim however, is to continuously improve on the quality of the data where necessary, in future editions.

    Description

This file contains Balance Sheet data for Irish resident Pension Funds/Schemes The Bank’s pension fund statistics combine data on the different pension schemes in Ireland into one harmonised set of statistics. All pension funds captured under the European System of Accounts 2010 definition are included unless they are captured in other statistics, such as those for insurance corporations. In the Irish context, a pension fund is an autonomous occupational pension scheme established under trust. Trust RACs, individual occupational pension schemes and funded Section 52 schemes are captured under the definition of a pension fund. Government pay as you go schemes are not included in the data. The pension fund statistics present data on the assets and liabilities of pension funds. The liabilities mainly consist of the capital that pension funds hold to fulfil their future payment obligations towards members. The assets show the investments of the pension funds. They also show the claims that pension funds might have against other parties such as insurance corporations.

    Abstract

The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.

Superseded by HUN AssetList v1.3 20150212 (GUID: dcf8349e-aaed-4d30-80ab-1c8cbad8fe68) on 2/12/2015

This dataset contains the spatial and non-spatial (attribute) components of the Hunter subregion Asset List as an .mdb file, which is readable as an MS Access database or as an ESRI Personal Geodatabase.

Asset attribution includes only the core set of BA-derived attributes reflecting the BA classification hierarchy, as described in Appendix A of "AnR_database_HUN_v1p2_20150128.doc", located in the zip file as part of this dataset.

The "Element_to_Asset" table contains the relationships and identifies the elements that were grouped to create each asset.

Detailed information describing the database structure and content can be found in the document "AnR_database_HUN_v1p2_20150128.doc" located in the zip file.

    Description

The Building Feature Class sits within the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Assets Geodatabase. The Building point layer includes Accommodation, Amenities, Commercial/Retail premises and Sheds. It also includes private buildings adjacent to Parks tagged as "Threatened Property" for emergency services.

The Assets Geodatabase is directly related to the Assets Maintenance System (AMS) which runs under SAP and contains similar fields, values and business rules. The Assets Geodatabase is the vehicle in which spatial assets are initially captured, edited and stored so that the features have coordinates and can be viewed spatially. The data is collected across the entire NSW National Parks Estate and includes some off-park features for fire management, access and mapping purposes. The spatial feature data is manually synchronised with the AMS. The two systems run side by side and are linked by an ID field. AMS is also set up to be used by other Department Planning, Industry & Environment groups eg. Botanic Gardens and Parklands and previously Marine Parks.

The database includes the following asset Feature Class types - Barrier, Bridge or Elevated Walkway, Building, Communication Equipment, Crossing, Drainage Point, Environmental Monitoring Station, Extractive industry, Facility, Fence Handrail, Fire Management Zone, Gate, Hazards, Hydraulic Point, Hydraulic Storage Point, Hydraulic Valve, Irrigation System, Landing, Landing Strip, Lookout, Natural Feature, Other Structure, Parking Area, Pipe Channel Section, Power or Communication line, Power or Communication point, Sign, Step point, Stormwater Drainage Line, Surface, Survey Mark, Tower, Track Section, Treatment Disposal System, Visitor Area, Visitor Monitoring Point. Detailed documentation is available including: - Data Dictionary (internal location - P:\Corporate\Tools\Information\Assets) - Data Model - Business Rules - Functional Location and Naming Convention

Note that for external supply the dataset is simplified with certain attribute fields being removed. Those fields that have a name prefixed with "d_" contain descriptions extracted from the original geodatabase domains.

    Description

Variables The data consist of the estimated number of holdings and value of assets held by groups of individuals classified by sex, age and wealth range. They derive from the Inland Revenue sample of estates on which is based the wealth information reported in Inland Revenue statistics. The data identify 11 age groups, 10 wealth ranges and 104 types of assets and debts. They are available for two years that correspond approximately to the calendar years 1975 and 1976. The reference population in 1975 is Great Britain, while in 1976 it is the United Kingdom. The Inland Revenue examine a sample of probated estates, applying a sampling frequency that depends on age and the value of the estate (and is slightly different for Northern Ireland). Having analysed these estates, the number and value of asset holdings is projected for the living population by scaling up by the reciprocal of the sampling frequency within each age/wealth cell and then by the reciprocal of the estimated mortality rate (or the 'mortality multiplier') within each cell. This means that the asset data, although apparently recording thousands of holdings valued in millions of pounds, may only reflect the characteristics of a few estates Compilation or synthesis of existing material

    Description

Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner. The Quarterly Acquisitions and Disposals of Capital Assets Survey (QCAS) is the new name for a more detailed Quarterly Survey of Capital Expenditure (available from the UK Data Archive under Secure Access conditions from SN 6708 (1998-2014). From quarter one 2015, this new survey will collect the value of capital assets bought and sold, which is important information for the UK National Accounts. It is a statutory survey with a stratified random sample of approximately 27,000 businesses selected from the Inter-Departmental Business Register, where the strata are defined by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 2007 and employment size of the business. Results from the survey provide essential information for the UK National Accounts and feed into the compilation of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF). GFCF is a major component of the expenditure measure of UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which shows the total economic activity taking place in the country. It is used to monitor the UK's financial health and prosperity over time and in comparison to other countries. The main reasons for the changes to the survey are to move to the updated European System of Accounts (ESA) 2010 manual, the international guidance for national accounts. Several presentational issues have been addressed but the main changes to the survey are:new questions have been added (increase from 11 to around 30) to improve the quality of estimates and to meet the latest European legislation requirements (ESA 2010) the lower limit of £500 for the value of reported assets has been removed, so all relevant assets (even those below businesses’ Asset Register threshold) should be reported small tools used in production have been included within the definition of GFCFimprovements have been made to the questionnaire’s layout with new sections and headings, designed to make completing the questionnaire easier The data from the new questions will not be included in estimates of GFCF and its components until 2017, when 2 years of data will be available for quality assurance. Linking to other business studies These data contain Inter-Departmental Business Register reference numbers. These are anonymous but unique reference numbers assigned to business organisations. Their inclusion allows researchers to combine different business survey sources together. Researchers may consider applying for other business data to assist their research. For the third edition (April 2020), data for quarter 2, 2016 to quarter 1, 2020 have been added, along with a data dictionary covering the same time period.
