    Description

Data holds the basic information about sales data. The company have sales agencies / resellers and branches and the data file holds only the branch/reseller information in the customer field.

    Notes:

Please note that, for the privacy issues, the customerID, SKU and documentID is processed with LabelEncoder. So, each customer or each product has a unique ID in the data file.

Note 2: Data holds for more than 3 years, prices of the products can get raised by the time.

    • DocumentID : ID of the transaction. A transaction might hold multiple records for the same customer at the same date with multiple products (SKU). DocumentID might be useful for combining the transactions and detecting the items sold together.
    • Date : Date of transaction / sell. In the date time format.
    • SKU : Item / Product code. The unique code for each item sold.
    • Price : Sales price for the transaction. The price for the product for the customer for the date.
    • Discount : discount amount for the transaction.
    • Customer : Unique customer id for each customer. For the data set, customer can be a reseller or a branch of the company.
    • Quantity : Number of items sold in the transaction.

    Version 2 Updates:

Newer version of the data set has more rows until 2023 January. Also some of the column names are updated for the naming standards in other Kaggle notebooks. - InvoiceID : ID of the transaction. A transaction might hold multiple records for the same customer at the same date with multiple products (SKU). DocumentID might be useful for combining the transactions and detecting the items sold together. - Date : Date of transaction / sell. In the date time format. - ProductID : Item / Product code. The unique code for each item sold. - TotalSales : Sales price for the transaction. If you want to get unit_price , divide TotalSales column to Quantity column - Discount : Discount amount for the transaction. - CustomerID : Unique customer id for each customer. For the data set, customer can be a reseller or a branch of the company. - Quantity : Number of items sold in the transaction.

How to Use Data Set ?

Some of the potential questions from the data might be listed as below, please add more to discussion if you have any idea: - What is the optimum price for each item? - Demand prediction for each item on next months. - Customer Lifetime Value for each Customer. - Customer Segmentation (an easy approach of RFM or more complex segmentations) - Customer <> Product Recommendation (what are the best products for the customers).

    Description

Insured domestically chartered commercial banks and savings associations that have one or more branch offices in a foreign country are required to report balance sheet information for each of their foreign branches on either the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) 030 or FFIEC 030S. The Foreign Branch Report of Condition (FFIEC 030) collects information on the structure and geographic distribution of foreign branch assets, liabilities, derivatives, and off-balance-sheet data. The Abbreviated Foreign Branch Report of Condition (FFIEC 030S) collects five financial data items for smaller, less complex branches. The FFIEC 030 is collected annually as of December 31 or quarterly for significant branches as of the last day of each calendar quarter; the FFIEC 030S is an abbreviated reporting form filed annually by smaller institutions. The Federal Reserve receives reports for all foreign branches of U.S. banks, regardless of charter type, on behalf of the U.S. banks' primary federal bank regulatory agency (Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), or Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) (collectively, the agencies)). The agencies use the FFIEC 030 and FFIEC 030S reports to fulfill their statutory obligation to supervise foreign operations of domestic banks.

    Description

This is a dataset of hand-annotated branch diameters in artwork depicting trees, collected as part of a study designed to measure α, the diameter scaling exponent in fractal branching in artwork. We annotate stone window screen from the 16th century Sidi Saiyyed mosque, the Edo period Japanese painting "Cherry blossoms" by Matsumura Goshun, and 20th century abstract art by Gustav Klimt (from "Tree of Life") and Piet Mondrian ("Grey Tree" and "Blooming Apple Tree"). We measure the scaling exponent α by fitting branch diameter to a power law using logarithmic binning according to methods of Lin and Newberry (2023) and Newberry and Savage (2019). Included in this repository are lists of branch diameters and image annotations.

    Description

    Context

A supermarket is a self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages and household products, organized into sections. This kind of store is larger and has a wider selection than earlier grocery stores, but is smaller and more limited in the range of merchandise than a hypermarket or big-box market. In everyday U.S. usage, however, "grocery store" is synonymous with supermarket, and is not used to refer to other types of stores that sell groceries.

    Content

In the dataset, You'll get data of different stores of a supermarket company as per their store IDs which for ease has been converted to positive integers.

Store ID: (Index) ID of the particular store.

Store_Area: Physical Area of the store in yard square.

Items_Available: Number of different items available in the corresponding store.

Daily_Customer_Count: Number of customers who visited to stores on an average over month.

Store_Sales: Sales in (US $) that stores made.

    Acknowledgement

The data is obtained from the project from the University after seeking proper permission.

    Inspiration

Analyzing the performances of stores in the past on basis of which will try to rectify defects as well as to leverage the positives. Who doesn't want to increase their profits right?
