Inspiration

Graph and download economic data for Number of Bank Branches for United States (DDAI02USA643NWDB) from 2004 to 2019 about banks, depository institutions, and USA.

The Banking Bureau of the Department of Insurance Securities and Banking (DISB) regulates District of Columbia Chartered Banks, mortgage companies, and consumer finance companies. The Bureau strives to ensure a sound and thriving financial services community that provides the products, credit, and capital vital to the needs of District of Columbia residents and businesses. DISB charters and regulates District of Columbia banks and other DC depository financial institutions. DISB also regulates non-depository financial institutions such as mortgage lenders and brokers, money transmitters, consumer finance companies, and check cashers. The data is updated as needed.

Data holds the basic information about sales data. The company have sales agencies / resellers and branches and the data file holds only the branch/reseller information in the customer field.

Notes:

Please note that, for the privacy issues, the customerID, SKU and documentID is processed with LabelEncoder. So, each customer or each product has a unique ID in the data file.

Note 2: Data holds for more than 3 years, prices of the products can get raised by the time.

• DocumentID : ID of the transaction. A transaction might hold multiple records for the same customer at the same date with multiple products (SKU). DocumentID might be useful for combining the transactions and detecting the items sold together.
• Date : Date of transaction / sell. In the date time format.
• SKU : Item / Product code. The unique code for each item sold.
• Price : Sales price for the transaction. The price for the product for the customer for the date.
• Discount : discount amount for the transaction.
• Customer : Unique customer id for each customer. For the data set, customer can be a reseller or a branch of the company.
• Quantity : Number of items sold in the transaction.

Version 2 Updates:

Newer version of the data set has more rows until 2023 January. Also some of the column names are updated for the naming standards in other Kaggle notebooks. - InvoiceID : ID of the transaction. This is a dataset of hand-annotated branch diameters in artwork depicting trees, collected as part of a study designed to measure α, the diameter scaling exponent in fractal branching in artwork. We annotate stone window screen from the 16th century Sidi Saiyyed mosque, the Edo period Japanese painting "Cherry blossoms" by Matsumura Goshun, and 20th century abstract art by Gustav Klimt (from "Tree of Life") and Piet Mondrian ("Grey Tree" and "Blooming Apple Tree"). We measure the scaling exponent α by fitting branch diameter to a power law using logarithmic binning according to methods of Lin and Newberry (2023) and Newberry and Savage (2019). Context

A supermarket is a self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages and household products, organized into sections. This kind of store is larger and has a wider selection than earlier grocery stores, but is smaller and more limited in the range of merchandise than a hypermarket or big-box market. In everyday U.S. usage, however, "grocery store" is synonymous with supermarket, and is not used to refer to other types of stores that sell groceries.

In the dataset, You'll get data of different stores of a supermarket company as per their store IDs which for ease has been converted to positive integers.

Store ID: (Index) ID of the particular store.

Store_Area: Physical Area of the store in yard square.

Items_Available: Number of different items available in the corresponding store.

Daily_Customer_Count: Number of customers who visited to stores on an average over month.

Store_Sales: Sales in (US $) that stores made.

Analyzing the performances of stores in the past on basis of which will try to rectify defects as well as to leverage the positives. Who doesn't want to increase their profits right?

In comparison, the world average is 60.70 bank branches, based on data from 46 countries. Historically, the average for Micronesia from 2004 to 2021 is 13.37 bank branches. The minimum value, 12.23 bank branches, was reached in 2008 while the maximum of 15.23 bank branches was recorded in 2009.
