The Economic Bulletin is a publication that comes out twice a year, and it closely examines how things are going in the Trinidad and Tobago economy. In simple terms, it examines how the economy is growing, keeps an eye on money-related matters, checks in on what the government is up to with its finances, and looks at how Trinidad and Tobago is doing in terms of its external relationships. Once a year, the Bulletin also includes an extra section with numbers and stats about how the financial system is performing – like a report card for the money side of things.
The bulletins are designed mainly to provide individuals in the Breeder, Hatchery and Processing Sub-Sectors with data that would assist in making informed decisions concerning the supply and demand for chicken. The Agricultural Planning Division in the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries (MALF) is concerned with strategic planning, policy support, facilitation, intelligence and data collection that supports the planning of the nation’s agricultural portfolio.
