TwitterYield Editor is a tool which allows the user to select, apply and analyze a variety of automated filters and editing techniques used to process and clean yield data. The software imports either AgLeader advanced or Greenstar text file formats, and exports data in a delimited ASCII format. Yield Editor 2.0.7 includes some of the improvements and updates that users of the software have asked to be included. It provides three major improvements over version 1.0.2. The most important of these is the inclusion of a module for automated selection of many yield filter values, as well as a couple of additional automated filter types. A legend tool has been added which allows for the viewing of multiple data streams. Finally, a command line interface language under development allows for automated batch mode processing of large yield datasets. Yield maps provide important information for developing and evaluating precision management strategies. The high-quality yield maps needed for decision-making require screening raw yield monitor datasets for errors and removing them before maps are made. To facilitate this process, we developed the Yield Editor interactive software which has been widely used by producers, consultants and researchers. Some of the most difficult and time consuming issues involved in cleaning yield maps include determination of combine delay times, and the removal of “overlapped” data, especially near end rows. Our new Yield Editor 2.0 automates these and other tasks, significantly increasing the reliability and reducing the difficulty of creating accurate yield maps. This paper describes this new software, with emphasis on the Automated Yield Cleaning Expert (AYCE) module. Application of Yield Editor 2.0 is illustrated through comparison of automated AYCE cleaning to the interactive approach available in Yield Editor 1.x. On a test set of fifty grain yield maps, AYCE cleaning was not significantly different than interactive cleaning by an expert user when examining field mean yield, yield standard deviation, and number of yield observations remaining after cleaning. Yield Editor 2.0 provides greatly improved efficiency and equivalent accuracy compared to the interactive methods available in Yield Editor 1.x. As part of the “From Data Quality for AI to AI for Data Quality: A Systematic Review of Tools for AI-Augmented Data Quality Management in Data Warehouses” (Tamm & Nikifovora, 2025), a systematic review of DQ tools was conducted to evaluate their automation capabilities, particularly in detecting and recommending DQ rules in data warehouse - a key component of data ecosystems.
To attain this objective, five key research questions were established.
Q1. What is the current landscape of DQ tools?
Q2. What functionalities do DQ tools offer?
Q3. Which data storage systems DQ tools support? and where does the processing of the organization’s data occur?
Q4. What methods do DQ tools use for rule detection?
Q5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of existing solutions?
Candidate DQ tools were identified through a combination of rankings from technology reviewers and academic sources. A Google search was conducted using keyword (“the best data quality tools” OR “the best data quality software” OR “top data quality tools” OR “top data quality software”) AND "2023" (search conducted in December 2023). Additionally, this list was complemented by DQ tools found in academic articles, identified with two queries in Scopus, namely "data quality tool" OR "data quality software" and ("information quality" OR "data quality") AND ("software" OR "tool" OR "application") AND "data quality rule". For selecting DQ tools for further systematic analysis, several exclusion criteria were applied. Tools from sponsored, outdated (pre-2023), non-English, or non-technical sources were excluded. Academic papers were restricted to those published within the last ten years, focusing on the computer science field.
This resulted in 151 DQ tools, which are provided in the file "DQ Tools Selection".
To structure the review process and facilitate answering the established questions (Q1-Q3), a review protocol was developed, consisting of three sections. The initial tool assessment was based on availability, functionality, and trialability (e.g., open-source, demo version, or free trial). Tools that were discontinued or lacked sufficient information were excluded. The second phase (and protocol section) focused on evaluating the functionalities of the identified tools. Initially, the core DQM functionalities were assessed, such as data profiling, custom DQ rule creation, anomaly detection, data cleansing, report generation, rule detection, data enrichment. Subsequently, additional data management functionalities such as master data management, data lineage, data cataloging, semantic discovery, and integration were considered. The final stage of the review examined the tools' compatibility with data warehouses and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. Tools that did not meet these criteria were excluded. As such, the 3rd section of the protocol evaluated the tool's environment and connectivity features, such as whether it operates in the cloud, hybrid, or on-premises, its API support, input data types (.txt, .csv, .xlsx, .json), and its ability to connect to data sources including relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses, cloud data storages, data lakes. Additionally, it assessed whether the tool processes data on-premises or in the vendor’s cloud environment. Tools were excluded based on criteria such as not supporting data warehouses or processing data externally.
These protocols (filled) are available in file "DQ Tools Analysis"

The data obtained from the Mexico's General Direction of Epidemiology contains multiple information on the current pandemic situation. However, these data are saturated with features that may not be very useful in a predictive analysis.
Due to this I decided to clean and format the original data and generate a dataset that groups confirmed, dead, recovered and active cases by State, Municipality and Date.
This is very useful if you want to generate geographically specific models
The data set contains the covid cases columns (positive, dead, recovered and active) that are counted by state and municipality.
I.e
| Sate | Municipality | Date | Deaths | Confirmed | recovered | Active |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ciudad de Mexico | Iztapalapa | 2020-07-18 | 1 | 42 | 0 | 41 |
| Ciudad de Mexico | Iztapalapa | 2020-07-19 | 0 | 14 | 0 | 14 |
| Ciudad de Mexico | Iztapalapa | 2020-07-20 | 0 | 41 | 0 | 41 |
Would you like to see the data cleaning notebook? You can check it in my Github
The first documented case is on 2020-01-13. The dataset will be updated every day adding new cases
For this project, the data are obtained from the official URL of the government of México whose author is “Dirección General de Epidemiología”:
Corona Virus Data: https://www.gob.mx/salud/documentos/datos-abiertos-152127
Data Dictionary: https://www.gob.mx/salud/documentos/datos-abiertos-152127
According to the official results obtained from: https://coronavirus.gob.mx/datos/
The main difference between the official data and this dataset is in the recovered cases. This is because the Mexican government only considers outpatient cases when counting recovered cases. This dataset considers outpatient and inpatient cases when counting recovered people.
The second difference is some rows that contained nonsense information(I think this was a data collection error by the institution), these were eliminated.

While standard polysomnography has revealed the importance of the sleeping brain in health and disease, more specific insight into the relevant brain circuits requires high-density electroencephalography (EEG). However, identifying and handling sleep EEG artifacts becomes increasingly challenging with higher channel counts and/or volume of recordings. Whereas manual cleaning is time-consuming, subjective, and often yields data loss (e.g., complete removal of channels or epochs), automated approaches suitable and practical for overnight sleep EEG remain limited, especially when control over detection and repair behavior is desired. Here, we introduce a flexible approach for automated cleaning of multichannel sleep recordings, as part of the free Matlab-based toolbox SleepTrip. Key functionality includes 1) channel-wise detection of various artifact types encountered in sleep EEG, 2) channel- and time-resolved marking of data segments for repair through interpolation, and 3) visualization options to review and monitor performance. Functionality for Independent Component Analysis is also included. Extensive customization options allow tailoring cleaning behavior to data properties and analysis goals. By enabling computationally efficient and flexible automated data cleaning, this tool helps to facilitate fundamental and clinical sleep EEG research.
