Thanks to a variety of software services, it has never been easier to produce, manage and publish Linked Open Data. But until now, there has been a lack of an accessible overview to help researchers make the right choice for their use case. This dataset release will be regularly updated to reflect the latest data published in a comparison table developed in Google Sheets [1]. The comparison table includes the most commonly used LOD management software tools from NFDI4Culture to illustrate what functionalities and features a service should offer for the long-term management of FAIR research data, including:
The table presents two views based on a comparison system of categories developed iteratively during workshops with expert users and developers from the respective tool communities. First, a short overview with field values coming from controlled vocabularies and multiple-choice options; and a second sheet allowing for more descriptive free text additions. The table and corresponding dataset releases for each view mode are designed to provide a well-founded basis for evaluation when deciding on a LOD management service. The Google Sheet table will remain open to collaboration and community contribution, as well as updates with new data and potentially new tools, whereas the datasets released here are meant to provide stable reference points with version control.
The research for the comparison table was first presented as a paper at DHd2023, Open Humanities – Open Culture, 13-17.03.2023, Trier and Luxembourg [2].

This dataset is a comparison of peer reviewed, DOAJ-listed journals in Information Systems and Software Engineering. The Directory of Open Access Journals already provides insightful data such as the publication name, publisher name, the start year of the journal, etc. DOAJ data has extensively been verified and extended. For example, this dataset provides the basic publication fees of each journal, whether the fees can be avoided, the reported indexing services, whether the author copyright is retained or not. Additionally, the list of potential predatory publishers http://scholarlyoa.com/publishers/ was consulted. The search was conducted between 2013-05-16 and 2013-05-22. To gather data, the author searched all DOAJ journals under the general subject of Computer Science. A total of 386 journals was retrieved by this query. http://www.doaj.org/doaj?func=subject&cpId=114&uiLanguage=en Firstly, the dataset was screened for non-relevant entries. Among the 386 entries of the query results, 30 were considered relevant for the context of the study. Reasons for exclusions included: journal either off-topic, or too wide scope (e.g., a topic related to Software Engineering included with non-relevant subjects such as Bio-Metrics, Nano-Computing) or too much specialized (e.g., only business information systems, only for developing countries); journal imposes barriers for submission (e.g., only from a certain nation); journal website not accessible; journal publishes only proceedings or special topics; journal without English only papers; no peer review of the papers (e.g., preprint servers). Special attention was given to the declared focus of the journal. In case the provided focus was considered off-topic or too much specialized, the last issue entries of the journal were manually examined to either confirm or reject the exclusion of the dataset.
Special issues were not counted in the number of issues per year. The total amount of published papers has either been manually computed or through the journal statistics, if available. Please contact the author of this dataset, Daniel Graziotin [graziotin AT inf DOT unibz DOT it] for corrections to the data. In case of correction request, please provide the correction itself and the source.

Application-level monitoring is required for continuously operating software systems to maintain their performance and availability at runtime. Performance monitoring of software systems requires storing time series data in a monitoring log or stream. Such monitoring may cause a significant runtime overhead to the monitored system.
In this paper, we evaluate the influence of multi-core processors on the overhead of the Kieker application-level monitoring framework. We present a breakdown of the monitoring overhead into three portions and the results of extensive controlled laboratory experiments with microbenchmarks to quantify these portions of monitoring overhead under controlled and repeatable conditions. Our experiments show that the already low overhead of the Kieker framework may be further reduced on multi-core processors with asynchronous writing of the monitoring log.
Our experiment code and data are available as open source software such that interested researchers may repeat or extend our experiments for comparison on other hardware platforms or with other monitoring frameworks.
This dataset supplements the paper and contains the raw experimental data as well as several generated diagrams for each experiment.
