    Description

A series of geodatabases that contain a range of spatial datasets. These datasets describe the location and geographical extent of different types of Green and Blue Infrastructure across England. The datasets highlight accessibility levels, display greenspace provision and natural greenspace standards in a spatial context and present it alongside a wide range of social statistics. As of 28/03/2025 the Social Statistics LSOA data layer in the Green and Blue Infrastructure data download has been corrected and now matches the data displayed on Natural England's Green Infrastructure website. The LSOA IMD codes have been re-calculated correctly and are stored in the data layer in the "corrected_code" attribute fields. The original, inaccurate codes persist in the data layer for context only. Description

The global market for interlocked armored cables is experiencing robust growth, driven by increasing demand across diverse sectors. The expansion is fueled by several key factors: the rising adoption of automation and robotics in industrial settings necessitates highly reliable and durable cabling solutions; the burgeoning renewable energy sector, particularly solar and wind power, requires extensive cabling infrastructure for efficient energy transmission; and the continuous growth in data centers and telecommunications infrastructure necessitates high-performance, shielded cables to protect sensitive data. Furthermore, stringent safety regulations in various industries are driving the adoption of armored cables due to their superior protection against physical damage and environmental hazards. We estimate the market size in 2025 to be approximately $2.5 billion, exhibiting a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of around 6% from 2025 to 2033. This growth trajectory is projected to continue due to ongoing investments in infrastructure development globally. Major players such as AFL, Superior Essex International, HYESUNG, Belden, Cleerline Technology Group, Anixter, Corning, and Siemon are actively shaping market dynamics through innovation and strategic expansion. Competitive advantages are achieved through advancements in cable materials, improved manufacturing processes, and the development of specialized cable types catering to specific industry needs. While increasing raw material costs and potential supply chain disruptions pose challenges, the strong demand drivers are expected to offset these restraints. Market segmentation is largely driven by cable type (e.g., fiber optic, copper), application (e.g., industrial automation, energy, telecommunications), and geography. North America and Europe currently hold significant market share, but the Asia-Pacific region is poised for substantial growth due to rapid industrialization and infrastructure development.
