    Description

The global education payments platform market is experiencing robust growth, driven by the increasing adoption of digital payment solutions within educational institutions and the rising demand for streamlined tuition and fee management systems. The market size in 2025 is estimated at $5 billion, exhibiting a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 15% from 2025 to 2033. This significant growth is fueled by several key factors. Firstly, the shift towards online learning and remote education accelerated by recent global events has increased the need for secure and efficient online payment processing. Secondly, the growing preference for automated payment systems among both institutions and parents reduces administrative burdens and improves operational efficiency. Thirdly, the enhanced security features offered by many platforms are addressing the concerns related to data breaches and financial fraud, thereby boosting adoption. Finally, the integration of these platforms with Student Information Systems (SIS) further streamlines the payment process, creating a more seamless experience for all stakeholders. The market is segmented by deployment type (cloud-based and on-premises) and application (higher education and K-12 private schools). Cloud-based solutions are gaining significant traction due to their scalability, cost-effectiveness, and accessibility. Higher education institutions represent a larger market segment compared to K-12 private schools due to the higher tuition fees and larger student populations. Geographic expansion is another key driver, with North America and Europe currently holding substantial market shares. However, the Asia-Pacific region is projected to experience significant growth in the coming years due to rising internet penetration and increased investment in the education sector. While regulatory compliance and integration challenges can pose restraints, the overall market outlook remains positive, indicating substantial growth potential throughout the forecast period.

Point data of public and private school sites, specifically primary, secondary, and adult schools and relevant attributes. Provided by SANGIS and hosted by H-Hub at UC San Diego. The types of data in this feature class are school names, spatial locations, addresses, and additional school details (e.g. status of operation, whether the facility is private or public, etc.). School addresses were sourced from the California Department of Education (CDE) and were geocoded using the SanGIS parcels and street centerlines. The attributes from previous School iterations were also updated using aerial imagery, online research, site visits, and over-the-phone verification. Certain points were manually relocated to school buildings. This layer includes not only active schools but also closed schools, district office locations, duplicates of schools at prior addresses or with different cds codes or having closed and reopened, and virtual schools.

    Description

This dataset results from the enrichment of the following game: * Added value indicators for vocational schools, published on 14 September 2013 by the Ministry of National Education on the data.gouv.fr platform: https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/dataset/indicateurs-de-valeur-ajoutee-des-lycees-d-enseignement-professionnel-00000000 statistical data: the value-added indicators of high schools make it possible to evaluate the specific action of each high school. They are based on the results of the baccalaureate students and their educational background in the institution. Professional high schools, public and private under contract, are concerned. It is by no means a ranking but a cross-view of the three indicators and the corresponding “added values”.* Compared to the latter game, the statistics are modeled in the form of data cubes (Datacube).

    Description

The global virtual classroom software market is experiencing robust growth, driven by the increasing adoption of online and hybrid learning models across educational institutions and corporate training programs. The shift towards digital learning accelerated significantly during the pandemic, establishing a strong foundation for continued expansion. While precise market size figures for 2025 are unavailable, extrapolating from general market trends and considering the substantial investment in edtech solutions, a reasonable estimate for the 2025 market size would be around $15 billion. A compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15% is plausible, given the ongoing demand for flexible and scalable learning solutions. Key drivers include the rising demand for cost-effective training, improved accessibility to education, and the increasing availability of high-speed internet. The market is segmented by application (public schools, private schools, training institutions) and type (cloud-based, on-premise). Cloud-based solutions are expected to dominate, due to their scalability, accessibility, and lower upfront costs. However, concerns regarding data security and internet reliance may act as restraints on market growth, especially in regions with limited internet infrastructure. The competitive landscape is highly fragmented, with numerous established players like Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Blackboard competing alongside specialized educational technology providers such as Schoology, Top Hat, and Litmos. The ongoing innovation in features such as interactive whiteboards, AI-powered assessment tools, and gamified learning experiences is shaping the market. North America currently holds a significant market share, followed by Europe and Asia Pacific. However, growing internet penetration and increasing adoption of technology in emerging economies are expected to fuel growth in these regions over the forecast period (2025-2033). The market’s evolution will be heavily influenced by factors like advancements in artificial intelligence, the integration of virtual reality and augmented reality, and the ongoing need for enhanced security and data privacy measures within the virtual learning environment. A continued focus on user experience and the seamless integration of these platforms with existing learning management systems will be crucial for future market success.

OPT provides transportation service to many different kinds of locations. Many of these locations are schools but they also include offices or other sites that may be part of certain students’ educational plans. The schools may be public, private or religious. OPT provides busing to some Pre-K sites for students who have an IEP for curb-to-curb busing because of medical condition. Transportation service is not limited to school bus service; it includes distribution of MetroCards and approved reimbursement services. Bus service can be conducted on a yellow school bus, an ambulance, or even a coach bus. Yellow school buses are available in a number of sizes and seating configurations. This dataset includes schools, offices or Pre-K/EI sites that currently receive any transportation services from OPT. These sites may be within the New York City limits or up to fifty miles from the city limits in the states of New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. This dataset does not include field trip destinations.

PSS 2013-14 (https://nces.ed.gov/surveys/pss/) is a cross-sectional survey that collects data on private elementary and secondary schools, including religious orientation, level of school, length of school year, length of school day, total enrollment (K-12), race/ethnicity of students, number of high school graduates, number of teachers employed, program emphasis, and existence and type of kindergarten program. The study is conducted using mail questionnaires, an internet response option and telephone and personal follow-up of all private schools in the United States. The PSS universe consists of a diverse population of schools. It includes both schools with a religious orientation (e.g., Catholic, Lutheran, or Jewish) and nonsectarian schools with programs ranging from regular to special emphasis and special education. Keys statistics produced from PSS 2013-14 are on the number of private schools, students, and teachers, the number of high school graduates, the length of the school year and school day.
