Data from the IPv4 Routed /24 Topology Dataset are processed by using RouteViews BGP data to identify the Autonomous System (AS) associated with each responding IP address and collapsing the original probed IP paths into a set of links between ASes.

To determine where data is shared and what data is no longer available, this study analyzed data shared by researchers at a single university. 2166 supplemental data links were harvested from the university’s institutional repository and web scraped using R. All links that failed to scrape or could not be tested algorithmically were tested for availability by hand. Trends in data availability by link type, age of publication, and data source were examined for patterns. Results show that researchers shared data in hundreds of places. About two-thirds of links to shared data were in the form of URLs and one-third were DOIs, with several FTP links and links directly to files. A surprising 13.4% of shared URL links pointed to a website homepage rather than a specific record on a website. After testing, 5.4% the 2166 supplemental data links were found to be no longer available. DOIs were the type of shared link that was least likely to disappear with a 1.7% loss, with URL loss at 5.9% averaged over time. Links from older publications were more likely to be unavailable, with a data disappearance rate estimated at 2.6% per year, as well as links to data hosted on journal websites. The results support best practice guidance to share data in a data repository using a permanent identifier.

Linear dataset of links to historical geotechnical documents. The locations of the features in this dataset are approximate and are not implied as having any specific spatial accuracy. They were located using one of the following processes: georeferenced historical plan sheets, alignment with stationing and offset, address description or coordinates. This data should only be used as reference. The dataset is not a complete statewide set. Features are continually being added project by project as needed.

Spatial dataset compiled by Alberta Geological Survey containing core locations in Alberta, Canada, linked to hyperspectral imagery and high-resolution photographs. The individual hyperspectral images and data available are organized categorically into short wavelength infrared (SWIR), long wavelength infrared (LWIR), visible and near-infrared (VNIR) and red-green-blue (RGB) downloadable zip archives. The pixel resolution varies with category: RGIB=0.1mm, VNIR=0.45 mm (resampled to 1.13 mm), SWIR=1.13mm, LWIR=1.13mm. RGB = high resolution, natural colour photograph of core sample. SWIR images include both peak-wavelength mean (wavelength position) and peak-height mean (intensity) images for determination of mineral species and abundance. Wavelengths measured, and images available under the category of SWIR include:1) 1,400 nm which measures the hydroxyl ion and is related to sericite, illite, kaolinite, clays and (to a lesser extent), ferromagnesian minerals. 2) 1,950 nm which measures water, either bound in minerals or unbound.3) 2,165 nm, which measures kaolinite, dickite, pyrophyllite and alunite.4) 2,200 nm, which measures AlOH in clay and sericite.5) 2,250 nm, which measures Fe2+-OH in chlorite and (moderately to weakly) in epidote, biotite and amphibole.6) 2,300 nm, which measures MgOH, and can act as a proxy for hydrocarbon.7) 2,350 nm, which measures MgOH in strongly magnesian minerals such as amphibole and biotite. The peak-height mean values determined for each wavelength band measured, at each measured depth, can be viewed under “numerical reports” as both (0.01)_00DH-03_Depth Mean Report and (0.1)_00DH-03_Depth Mean Report with the values given as intensities. Note that 0.01 refers to 1 cm interval spacing and 0.1 refers to 10 cm interval spacing. The peak-wavelength mean values determined for each wavelength band measured, at each measured depth, can be viewed under “numerical reports” as both (0.1)_00DH-03_Wavelength Mean Report and (0.01)_00DH-03_Wavelength Mean Report. Wavelengths measured, and images available, under the category of LWIR include:1) 7,600 – 11,900 nm which measures, across the LWIR spectrum, the intensity (peak height mean) and wavelength position (peak-wavelength mean) of the largest peak2) 8,000 nm, which is used to measure sulphide-bearing minerals as well as silica3) 9,000 nm, which is used to measure silica4) 9,600 nm, which is used to measure AlOH minerals, MgOH minerals and alkali feldspar5) 9,800 nm, which is used to measure AlOH minerals, MgOH minerals and plagioclase feldspar6) 11,200 nm, which is used to measure dolomite7) 11,300 nm, which is used to measure calcite The peak-height mean values determined for each wavelength band measured, at each depth, for LWIR and VNIR are also available in the respective “numerical reports” folders.

The Baseline Surface Radiation Network (BSRN) and its central archive - the World Radiation Monitoring Center (WRMC) - was created in 1992. It is a project of the Data Assimilation Panel from the Global Energy and Water Cycle Experiment (GEWEX) under the umbrella of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and as such is aimed at detecting important changes in the Earth's radiation field at the Earth's surface which may be related to climate changes. This dataset was used to establish a connection between two phenomena related to phenotypic heterogeneity in bacteria: antibiotic persistence and aging. It contains physiological measurements of Escherichia coli cells growing within microfluidic devices, in either exponential or stationary phase. Populations growing exponentially were subjected to damaging treatments, either through photo-oxidation of sub-inhibitory Streptomycin concentrations, or to persistence triggering via Tetracycline exposure. Only the latter treatment produced persisters during exponential phase. Data from stationary phase populations includes the transition from exponential to stationary phase, showing that cells inheriting old poles arrest growth earlier than those inheriting new poles.
