DeKalb County Land Lots

This is water bodies data in DeKalb county, Georgia. The data is polygon features representing waterbodies. The data was acquired from aerial photography and Lidar in 1995 and updated in 2012.

This Neighborhoods feature class was created based on an aggregate of data from various sources and methods of collection. Such methods include, the use of Google Street View, referencing to digitized Dekalb County Tax map subdivsions, and reference and feedback from Brookhaven Police Department and city employees. Google Street View was used to verify neighborhood limits by looking for boundary markers, such as sign-toppers, entrance signs, and other such markers. The bulk of the data was digitzed from the Brookhaven Subdivisions feature class.

The published representation of real property areas, combined with assessing and tax information from CAMA and Tax systems, and organized for consumption in desktop and web applications. This feature class contains redundant geometry in cases where there are multiple condominium units on a given tax parcel.
