Restricted to claims with service date between 01/2012 to 12/2017. Restricted to claims with a primary diagnosis only. Restricted to top 100 most frequent diagnosis codes that are marked as primary diagnosis of a claim. Provider is the rendering provider marked in the claim. Provider specialty is the primary specialty of the rendering provider. This data is for research purposes and is not intended to be used for reporting. Due to differences in geographic aggregation, time period considerations, and units of analysis, these numbers may differ from those reported by FSSA.

    Data for this publication are extracted each month as a snapshot in time from the Primary Care Registration database within the PDS (Personal Demographics Service) system. This release is an accurate snapshot as at 1 May 2025. GP Practice; Primary Care Network (PCN); Sub Integrated Care Board Locations (SICBL); Integrated Care Board (ICB) and NHS England Commissioning Region level data are released in single year of age (SYOA) and 5-year age bands, both of which finish at 95+, split by gender. In addition, organisational mapping data is available to derive PCN; SICBL; ICB and Commissioning Region associated with a GP practice and is updated each month to give relevant organisational mapping. Quarterly publications in January, April, July and October will include Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) populations.

    Description

    PIONEER geography The West Midlands (WM) has a population of 5.9million & includes a diverse ethnic, socio-economic mix. There is a higher than average % of minority ethnic groups. WM has a large number of elderly residents but is the youngest population in the UK. There are particularly high rates of physical inactivity, obesity, smoking & diabetes. WM has a high prevalence of COPD, reflecting the high rates of smoking and industrial exposure. Each day >100,000 people are treated in hospital, see their GP or are cared for by the NHS. This is the SAMBA dataset from 4 NHS hospitals. EHR University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is one of the largest NHS Trusts in England, providing direct acute services & specialist care across four hospital sites, with 2.2 million patient episodes per year, 2750 beds & 100 ITU beds. UHB runs a fully electronic healthcare record (EHR) (PICS; Birmingham Systems), a shared primary & secondary care record (Your Care Connected) & a patient portal “My Health”. Scope: All patients from 2015 onwards, curated to focus on Stroke. Longitudinal & individually linked, so that the preceding & subsequent health journey can be mapped & healthcare utilisation prior to & after admission understood. The dataset includes highly granular patient demographics, co-morbidities taken from ICD-10 & SNOMED-CT codes. Serial, structured data pertaining to process of care (admissions, wards and discharge outcomes), presenting complaints, therapies, all physiology readings (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, screening for dysphagia, all sample analysis results (urine specimens, blood specimens), all prescribed & administered treatments and all outcomes.     Context

    The dataset tabulates the North York population distribution across 18 age groups. It lists the population in each age group along with the percentage population relative of the total population for North York. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population distribution of North York by age. For example, using this dataset, we can identify the largest age group in North York.

It is ensured that the population estimates used in this dataset pertain exclusively to the identified racial categories, and do not rely on any ethnicity classification.     About this dataset

    Context

    The dataset tabulates the population of Hattiesburg by race. It includes the population of Hattiesburg across racial categories (excluding ethnicity) as identified by the Census Bureau. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population distribution of Hattiesburg across relevant racial categories.

    Description

    Data for this publication are extracted each month as a snapshot in time from the GP Payments system (Open Exeter) maintained by NHS Digital. This release is an accurate snapshot as at 1 March 2020. GP Practice; Sustainability and transformation partnership (STP); Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG); NHS England Region and NHS England Commissioning Region level data are released in single year of age (SYOA) and 5-year age bands, both of which finish at 95+, split by gender. In addition, organisational mapping data is available to derive STP; CCG; Region and Commissioning Region associated with a GP practice and is updated each month to give relevant organisational mapping. In April 2020, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) will also be available along with organisational changes. Data for PCNs will be included as a supplement in February and March 2020. Quarterly publications in January, April, July and October will include Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) populations and a topic of interest.

    Context

    The dataset tabulates the Guide Rock population distribution across 18 age groups. It lists the population in each age group along with the percentage population relative of the total population for Guide Rock. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population distribution of Guide Rock by age. For example, using this dataset, we can identify the largest age group in Guide Rock.

GP Practice; Primary Care Network (PCN); Sustainability and transformation partnership (STP); Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England Commissioning Region level data are released in single year of age (SYOA) and 5-year age bands, both of which finish at 95+, split by gender. In addition, organisational mapping data is available to derive STP; PCN; CCG and Commissioning Region associated with a GP practice and is updated each month to give relevant organisational mapping. Quarterly publications in January, April, July and October will include Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) populations and a spotlight report. The outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) has led to changes in the work of General Practices and subsequently the data within this publication. Until activity in this healthcare setting stabilises, we urge caution in drawing any conclusions from these data without consideration of the country's circumstances and would recommend that any uses of these data are accompanied by an appropriate caveat.
