TwitterThis feature layer consists of polylines that represent Detroit Department of Transportation's (DDOT's) public service fixed bus routes. The dataset includes the names, numbers, directions, orientations, total miles, frequencies, spans, operation days, and brief descriptions of areas/streets served for each route in the system. Frequency varies by route but is separated into base (time between peaks), peak, and night frequency. Peak refers to the busiest hours in the AM (typically 6-9) and PM (typically 3-6) where frequency is often increased. The shapefile was updated due to the permanent rerouting of Woodward, Conant, Eight Mile, Livernois, and Wyoming routes to Jason Hargrove Transit Center. Chene and Woodward were also updated due to other minor reroutes.Click here for latest updates and reroute notices
