TwitterThe New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) was originally created by the New York State legislature (Article 8, Title 28, NYS Public Authorities Law) to manage the facilities used during the 1980 Olympic Winter Games at Lake Placid. State and local governments cooperatively created a long-term solution to protect the public’s investment in the Lake Placid Olympic facilities through the establishment of ORDA. Today, ORDA operates Whiteface Mountain ski area located in the Town of Wilmington, just 15 minutes outside the Village of Lake Placid; Gore Mountain ski area located in North Creek, New York — 80 miles north of Albany; Belleayre Mountain located in Highmount, NY – 80 miles south of Albany; as well as the Olympic Center; the Olympic Jumping Complex and Olympic Sports Complex – all located in Lake Placid. As host to international and national championships, the Authority has brought millions of athletes and spectators to the regions it serves. New York State, the Department of Economic Development, and our local elected officials have developed an alliance, allowing ORDA and its surrounding communities to remain at the forefront of winter and summer sports training, competition, recreation, and tourism by investing in the modernization of these facilities. In turn, this allows us to become a strong partner with local and regional businesses in supporting and building the tourism industry throughout the State. This data set contains the location and contact information for all locations operated by ORDA. The data is organized by Resort and Information Type.

This dataset provides summarized data for all expenditures from July 2003 through the current fiscal year, year to date, from the State's central accounting system. The state fiscal year runs from July 1 to the following June 30 and is numbered for the calendar year in which it ends. The State of Iowa operates on a modified accrual basis which provides that encumbrances on June 30 must be paid within 60 days after year end. The expenditures are summarized by Fiscal Year, Month, Fund, Appropriation, Department, Unit, and Object Class.

TwitterTO4 8.2.2: Space Cond. for Deep Energy Retrofits The purpose of this project for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is to find new or improved strategies for exterior building solutions in regard to insulation that will provide extensive energy-savings benefits for homeowners. Deep energy retrofits (DER) is one of the solutions. In the past, DERs have been expensive and hard for the average homeowner to budget. The DER solutions that IBACOS and GreenHomes America (GHA) are proposing will be market friendly, affordable, and easily repeatable. The insulation strategies that will be used on nine test homes include the following: Rigid foam insulation Four homes will have approximate center-of-wall R-values of R-28, including furring strips for siding, with additional systems approach work to supply the complete integrated DER solution. Spray foam insulation Four homes will have approximate center-of-wall R-values of R-30, with additional systems approach work to supply the complete integrated DER solution. HPwES upgrade One home will include criteria from the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) program, including dense pack walls and window upgrades for this retrofit strategy. In addition to the insulation, the strategies will include treatment where needed in the attic, mechanical systems, ventilation and basement band joist, walls, and floors.
