Abstract This study explored the relationship between knowledge transfer from manufacturer to distributor. The research question is related to knowledge transfer from the manufacturer to distributor and potential improvement in the performance of the last. This issue is important for companies that are expanding their markets. A survey was conducted in business units that belong to the transport equipment sector. The study's sample comprised 199 companies. Measuring instrument followed a rigorous sequence of methodological procedures. Measurements were validated by confirmatory factor analysis, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. Results suggested positive effects of the manufacturer's performance monitoring and knowledge transfer on the distributor's performance. By having formal and informal mechanisms to follow distributor activities, it is possible to identify operational activities performed by the manufacturer that might improve distributor performance.

This resource contains records from Slovenian Fungal Database - Boletus informaticus on 31th March 2008. The resource represents the collected data on the species and distribution of fungi in Slovenia from the archives of the Mycological Association of Slovenia and the personal archives of its members, as well as, in part, from existing collections and literature sources. A computer program for inputting data on fungi in Slovenia is called Boletus informaticus. The program is aimed at systematically recording species of fungi, their distribution, and data regarding their habitat, in addition the program allows various ways processing materials, various means of data retrieval, and cartographical presentations of finds. When the related monograph (Dušan Jurc, Andrej Piltaver, Nikica Ogris. 2005. Fungi of Slovenia: species and distribution. Studia forestalia Slovenica, 124, Ljubljana, Slovenian Forestry Institute: 497 p.) was published in 2005, there were 114,620 records that describe distribution of 2,452 species of fungi in Slovenia. On 31th March 2008 the BI database had 160,757 records. These records give distribution to 2763 fungi species. All mentioned records are published here.

Introduction
The MERL BRDF database contains reflectance functions of 100 different materials. Each reflectance function is stored as a densely measured Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF).
Sample code to read the data is included with the database (readBRDF.cpp). Note that parameterization of theta-half has changed.
At a Glance
The size of the unzipped dataset is ~3.25GB
Folder “brdfs” contains the data. Folder “code” contains sample code.

This dataset contains the historical Unidata Internet Data Distribution (IDD) Global Observational Data that are derived from real-time Global Telecommunications System (GTS) reports distributed via the Unidata Internet Data Distribution System (IDD). Reports include surface station (SYNOP) reports at 3-hour intervals, upper air (RAOB) reports at 3-hour intervals, surface station (METAR) reports at 1-hour intervals, and marine surface (BUOY) reports at 1-hour intervals. Select variables found in all report types include pressure, temperature, wind speed, and wind direction. Data may be available at mandatory or significant levels from 1000 millibars to 1 millibar, and at surface levels. Online archives are populated daily with reports generated two days prior to the current date.

Fish occurrence data to support high-resolution distribution models and test various community and macroecological hypotheses have not been available at the national scale. We present IchthyMaps, a database of high-quality historical fish occurrences covering fishes of the conterminous United States. Designed on the principles of metacommunity ecology, IchthyMaps is a compilation of presence records from atlases up to 1990, at the resolution of the 1:100,000 National Hydrography Database Plus (NHDPlus) inter-confluence stream segment, readily aggregated into hierarchically coarser units (e.g. hydrologic unit code 8-digit and 12-digit watersheds). IchthyMaps contains about 606,550 presence records for 1,038 species and subspecies. These presence records occurred on 224,305 NHDPlus interconfluence stream segments, representing > 10% average sampling intensity. IchthyMaps is publicly accessible through USGS' ScienceBase infrastructure. It offers unprecedented opportunities for both basic and applied research and conservation initiatives in areas such as studying biogeography, gap analysis, and assessments of impacts of land use, species invasions, and climate change. More generally, this database broadens our capability to conduct research on fish ecology, biogeography, and management.

The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) collects and maintains several datasets on the locations, distribution and status of species of plants and animals. Information on distribution by county from the following three databases was extracted and compiled into this dataset. First, the New York Natural Heritage Program biodiversity database: Rare animals, rare plants, and significant natural communities. Significant natural communities are rare or high-quality wetlands, forests, grasslands, ponds, streams, and other types of habitats. Next, the 2nd NYS Breeding Bird Atlas Project database: Birds documented as breeding during the atlas project from 2000-2005. And last, DEC’s NYS Reptile and Amphibian Database: Reptiles and amphibians; most records are from the NYS Amphibian & Reptile Atlas Project (Herp Atlas) from 1990-1999.
REVISED 1/2/2019. SEE UPDATE LINK BELOW. This database contains unit cost information for different components that may be used to integrate distributed photovotaic D-PV systems onto distribution systems. Some of these upgrades and costs may also apply to integration of other distributed energy resources DER. Which components are required and how many of each is system-specific and should be determined by analyzing the effects of distributed PV at a given penetration level on the circuit of interest in combination with engineering assessments on the efficacy of different solutions to increase the ability of the circuit to host additional PV as desired. The current state of the distribution system should always be considered in these types of analysis. The data in this database was collected from a variety of utilities PV developers technology vendors and published research reports. Where possible we have included information on the source of each data point and relevant notes. In some cases where data provided is sensitive or proprietary we were not able to specify the source but provide other information that may be useful to the user e.g. year location where equipment was installed. NREL has carefully reviewed these sources prior to inclusion in thismore » database. Additional information about the database data sources and assumptions is included in the Unit_cost_database_guide.doc file included in this submission. This guide provides important information on what costs are included in each entry. Please refer to this guide before using the unit cost database for any purpose.« less
