Our recent focus is on compiling new vehicle ownership, and the file includes over 14.2 million late model vehicle owners (2020-2025).
We also append our Persistent ID, telephone numbers, and demographics for a complete file that can support your direct mail and email marketing campaigns, lead validation, and identity verification needs. A Persistent ID is assigned to each vehicle record and tracks consumers as they change addresses or phone numbers, and vehicles as they change owners.
The database is not derived from state motor vehicle databases and therefore not subject to the Shelby Act also known as the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) of 2000. The data is deterministic and sources include sales and service data, warranty data and notifications, aftermarket repair and maintenance facilities, and scheduled maintenance records.

Manufacturers who determine that a product or piece of original equipment either has a safety defect or is not in compliance with Federal safety standards are required to notify the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) within 5 business days. NHTSA requires that manufacturers file a Defect and Noncompliance report as well as quarterly recall status reports, in compliance with Federal Regulation 49 (the National Traffic and Motor Safety Act) Part 573, which identifies the requirements for safety recalls. This information is stored in the NHTSA database. The Fataility Analysis Reporting System (FARS) dataset is as of July 1, 2017, and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics's (BTS's) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). One of the primary objectives of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is to reduce the staggering human toll and property damage that motor vehicle traffic crashes impose on our society. FARS is a census of fatal motor vehicle crashes with a set of data files documenting all qualifying fatalities that occurred within the 50 States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico since 1975. To qualify as a FARS case, the crash had to involve a motor vehicle traveling on a trafficway customarily open to the public, and must have resulted in the death of a motorist or a non-motorist within 30 days of the crash. This data file contains information about crash characteristics and environmental conditions at the time of the crash. There is one record per crash. Please note: 207 records in this database were geocoded to latitude and logtitude of 0,0 due to lack of location information or errors in the reported locations. FARS data are made available to the public in Statistical Analysis System (SAS) data files as well as Database Files (DBF). Over the years changes have been made to the type of data collected and the way the data are presented in the SAS data files. Some data elements have been dropped and new ones added, coding of individual data elements has changed, and new SAS data files have been created. Coding changes and the years for which individual data items are available are shown in the “Data Element Definitions and Codes” section of this document. The dataset can also be filtered by recall type: tires, vehicles, car seats, and equipment. The earliest campaign data is from 1966. The dataset displays the completion rate from the latest Recall Quarterly Report or Annual Report data from Year 2015 Quarter 1 (2015-1) onward.
