    Description

In 2024, approximately ******* of 60 kilogram bags of coffee were consumed in Malaysia. This was a decrease from around ******* of 60 kilogram bags consumed in the previous year. Overall, coffee consumption has been declining over the years. Coffee drinking culture For most Malaysians, drinking warm beverages such as tea and coffee has been a part of their daily lives for decades. However, as of 2023, Milo, a combination of chocolate and malt powder normally mixed with milk or hot water to make a drink, was recorded as the most popular beverage brand in Malaysia. This signified that coffee was less preferred by Malaysians. Traditionally, coffee was enjoyed by older Malaysians in the local "kopitiam", which is a local coffee shop. However, Malaysians who had lived abroad and adopted coffee drinking culture started to popularize café culture. Furthermore, the expansion of international retail café businesses such as Starbucks and The Coffee Bean & The Tea Leaf, as well as local coffee shop brands such as OldTown White Coffee also contributed to its popularity among the younger generation. Coffee production The main coffee bean types that are grown in Malaysia are robusta and liberica. In 2024, Malaysia recorded robusta coffee production of *** million 60 kg bags. To keep up with the demand from both domestic and global market, Malaysia imports coffee from its neighboring country, Indonesia.

    Description

The global cold water soluble creamers market is experiencing robust growth, driven by increasing demand for convenient and healthy beverage options. The market is projected to reach a significant size, with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) that reflects the strong consumer preference for ready-to-mix solutions, particularly in the food service and at-home consumption segments. This growth is fueled by several key factors, including the rising popularity of coffee and tea, the increasing preference for creamy textures without compromising health concerns (low-fat, sugar-free options are gaining traction), and the convenience offered by instant preparation. Key players like Super Group, Almer Malaysia, Mokate Ingredients, Guangdong Wenhui Food, and Shandong Tianjiao Biotech are actively shaping the market landscape through product innovation and strategic expansion. The market segmentation is likely diverse, encompassing various product types (powdered, liquid concentrates), flavor profiles, and packaging formats catering to diverse consumer needs and preferences. While specific market size figures are unavailable, industry analysis suggests a substantial market value, given the widespread consumption of creamer-based beverages. Considering comparable product categories and growth trends, a conservative estimate places the 2025 market size in the several hundred million dollar range, with a CAGR exceeding 5% through 2033. Continued growth in the cold water soluble creamers market is anticipated, driven by several key trends. The rising adoption of plant-based alternatives and the growing focus on sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients are creating new opportunities. Product innovation, including the development of functional creamers with added health benefits (probiotics, vitamins), is gaining momentum. Furthermore, expanding e-commerce channels and evolving consumer purchasing habits are influencing market dynamics. Potential restraints might include fluctuating raw material prices and evolving consumer preferences impacting specific flavor profiles. However, the overall market outlook remains positive, with considerable scope for growth and innovation in the coming years. The ongoing focus on convenience, health, and sustainability will continue to drive the market’s expansion globally.
