The report, cited in a cross-reference, contains a paper map titled "Major structural features of the Illinois Basin." We received a digital copy of the map in dxf format, and edited it to include only the faults. Our intent is to show the overall pattern of faults, and to show the location of the main exposed and near-surface faults for comparison to deep subsurface structures. We made little attempt to edit details of the digitized faults, beyond adding tick marks to indicate dip directions of a few normal faults. For details such as exact locations, fault dips, separations, and crosscutting relations, users should consult the original geologic maps cited in the Gas research Institute publication.; abstract: This cover consists of surface and near-surface faults compiled by the Illinois Basin Consortium in a multiyear project. Description

The cadastral map is a large scale map showing all properties and cadastral areas registered in the cadastre. Land plots are displayed in the cadastral map by the projection of their boundaries into the display plane and are marked by parcel numbers and, as a rule, by land type marks. These are parcels of registry C. The map of the designated operation is a large scale map, which shows the boundaries of the original plots registered in the land register as parcels of register E. These are parcels of land that are not visible in the field and which are usually merged into larger units. Vector cadastral maps shall be provided in GeoPackage (GPKG) format. For correct work with the data, it is necessary to use documents from https://opendata.skgeodesy.sk/9/2 .They describe structures, transformation of JTSK and instructions for converting GPKG to DXF format. Data are updated quarterly, each on the first day of a given quarter (January, April, July, October).

    Description

This dataset was created to provide vector mapping of planimetric features derived from aerial photography.Photo Acquisition - The aerial photographic mission was carried out on April 12, 2017. 459 exposures were taken in 16 flight lines at 3300' AMT resulting in a pixel resolution of 0.22' . The photography was collected with 60% overlap to ensure proper stereo viewingAerial Triangulation - The digital photographs were triangulated using KLT software. The interior orientations of each photo were measured, the photos were tied togther within flight lines and lastly each flight line was tied, creating one single unified block. This block was then projected into Massachusetts State Plane NAD 83 coordinates using the14 aerial photo ground control points that were collected by traditional survey. RMS formulas were used to compute error propagation and reduce error.Data Capture - Vector data was collected using the subsequent aerial triangulation which allows photogrammetrists to view the photography in stereo. Data was captured using KLT sofware which allows the user to collect in 3D space in the coordinate system established during aerial triangulation. Each data set was collected on its own layer, which allows the data to be imported into the GIS database. The data was collected at scale of 1"= 40'CAD processing - The vector data collected through the stereocompilation process is edited in KLT Atlas software. Data is checked for errors and then converted into AutoCAD .dxf format.GIS geodatabase production- The AutoCAD .dxf file is imported into ESRI ArcGIS 10.5.1 where a topology is run to eliminate any gaps that may exist in the data. The data is then separated into the appropriate layers as defined in the database design. A topology check is then run on the data prior to delivery to check for inconsistencies.

    Description

Smoothed contours were produced at 2 foot intervals from topographic vector data (breaklines) collected by photogrammetrists. Breaklines denote the major terrain shifts as percieved by viewing the aerial photography stereoscopically. Major breaks, such as the top and bottom of hills were marked with the breaklines. Point data (DTM) was used to supplant the breakline data to provide enough information to model the terrain of the area. The data was collected at scale of 1"= 40'.

Survey field crews surveyed 14 photo identifiable points used for photo control. All the ground control points were used in the final analytical triangulation solution. The horizontal positions were reported in feet; NAD1983 (2011) Massachusetts State Plane Coordinate System, Mainland Zone, Epoch 2010.00. Elevations were based on the NorthAmerican Vertical Datum, 1988.

The aerial photographic mission was carried out on April 12, 2017. 459 exposures were taken in 16 flight lines at 3300' AMT resulting in a pixel resolution of 0.22' . The photography was collected with 60% overlap to ensure proper stereo viewing.

RMS formulas were used to compute error propagation and reduce error.

The breakline and dtm data collected through the stereocompilation process was edited in KLT Atlas software to check for continuity. A TIN was generated from the edited topographic data which was then used to produce smoothed contours at 2' intervals. The contour information was then checked for errors and converted into AutoCAD .dxf format for GIS import.

    Description

description: Polygon coverage for bedrock geologic units. The geologic data was mapped during the summer of 1998 at a scale of 1:24,000. The bedrock geology was mapped using standard techniques. Locational information was provided by Rockwell PLGR+96 GPS receivers using the federal precise positioning service. The line and polygon data were compiled on a mylar greenline of the 7.5-minute quadrangle and scanned at 400 dpi on an Anatech Eagle 4080T scanner. The raster files (TIF) were converted to vector files (DXF) using GTX OSR version 2.0 raster-to-vector conversion software. The vector files were imported to Arc/Info version 7.0.4. Point data were collected with GPS and hand held 3COM Palm Pilot III PDA computers. Data from the PDAs were combined in Microsoft Access, and then imported as ASCII text files and (dbf) files into Arc/Info. The Arc/Info coverages were registered and transformed to the New Hampshire State Plane Coordinate system.; abstract: Polygon coverage for bedrock geologic units. Description

The EGS Collab project is evaluating a site for Experiment 2 (hydraulic fracturing/shearing) at a depth of 1.25 km in the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) on the 4100 Level. Two early test holes were drilled in an alcove (formerly known as Battery Charging Station) near Yates Shaft. Recently, we conducted a laser survey around the Testbed 2 to capture the details of the drift. This submission package includes the laser scanned drift map around the Testbed 2. The drift map data are presented in AutoCAD (dxf), Leapfrog mesh (.msh), and point cloud (*.csv) file formats. Note: The coordinate system used is local Homestake Mine Coordinate (HMC) system from an old gold mine that was in operation for over 100 years.
