VT E911 Map Viewer
Locations of electric utility substations in Vermont. The definition for substation varies, but it is typically thought of as a facility that includes a transformer to step voltage down from transmission or subtransmission voltage to distribution voltage, and also includes other ancillary facilities (such as voltage regulators and switches). This dataset was developed through inquiries of electric utilities,and each site was reviewed on the E-911 viewer for confirmation.
