This resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads Shapefile includes all features within the MTDB Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in MTDB that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

Town Boundaries

GoldenEagleBreedingRange is an ESRI SDE Feature Class encompassing the geographic area in which a population of Golden Eagle can typically be found breeding (the period of time during each year when a species reproduces - mates and has young) in Colorado. This information was derived from species experts. A variety of data capture techniques were used including implementation of the SmartBoard Interactive Whiteboard using stand-up, real-time digitizing at various scales (Cowardin, M., M. Flenner. March 2003. Maximizing Mapping Resources. GeoWorld 16(3):32-35). Various sources were referenced in developing these data including CPW Scientific Collection data, Cornell Lab of Ornithology eBird data, and Colorado Breeding Bird Atlas data.This generalized graphic representation of species range data is provided for informational purposes only and has not been prepared for, nor is it suitable for, any type of legal, regulatory, or site specific planning purposes. These data are subject to errors and change. Users of the information displayed in this map service are strongly cautioned to verify all information and contact local CPW Biologists before making any decisions.These data were last updated in October 2018.

Colorado Community Anchor Institutions (CAI) Feature Class Summary This layer represents the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) State Broadband Data Development Program (SBDD) Community Anchor Institutions (CAI) which subscribe to broadband. Description Introduction This layer represents the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) State Broadband Data Development Program (SBDD) Community Anchor Institutions (CAI) which subscribe to broadband. ''Community Anchor Institutions'' consist of schools, libraries, medical and healthcare providers, public safety entities, community colleges and other institutions of higher education, and other community support organizations and entities. These locations may not offer broadband availability to the public (although most libraries and many schools, and community centers do) but rather offer an opportunity for policy makers to understand where community anchor institutions who have broadband access are which can help in identifying challenges and opportunities to reaching national connectivity goals. For additional information visit NOFA (Notice of Funding Availability) website: http://www.ntia.doc.gov/broadbandgrants/nofa.html Intent The primary source of information has been online address and location research, in combination with google maps and NAIP aerial imagery. Ideally, our end goal is to have every county maintain and provide data directly. The advantage being that local officials have more direct access to acquiring accurate data for their respective counties, and more experience within these counties. Secondly, it will allow each county to sustain accurate CAI data without being reliant on the state government. For example, if Hinsdale county sustained its own CAIs, it would not need to wait on the state to complete and update their CAI data. Achieving this goal will provide the counties in Colorado with accurate and useful data without the limitations of being bottle necked by a single data editing source. Process The existing CAI point data is edited and maintained using ESRI Arc Desktop 10.1. Points have first been verified for their spatial accuracy. They are overlayed onto NAIP aerial imagery. Using a combination of online sources, such as Google Maps and Google Earth, the address and location of each point is verified. If the point is inaccurately positioned, it is moved to the correct location. Attributes are also check for accuracy and updated. Sometimes street names or address numbers are not present, and must be identified through research. Presently a total of 5478 CAI locations have been researched and edited. We were unable to indentify the definitive location of 4% of these CAIs. This results in a favorable 96% accuracy rate thus far. This dataset will be continuously checked and improved upon as time goes on. In addition, CAI locations have been contacted in order to acquire internet speed test results. Currently 1356 of the total Community Anchor Institutions have speed test results. We will continute to add to this number as time goes on. Finally, this data will be accessible and modifiable via GIS services. This will allow county officials to actively edit the data. The bold faced portion is representative of the field name, while the following text represents the type of the field as well as length, precision, and scale. For example, if the soil water table depth has a value of 90 cm, any substance will have to flow 90 cm vertically down to reach the water table.

Garfield County, Colorado voting boundaries. Data have been updated from 2021 redistricting. The entire county is in house district 57 and congressional district 3. New senate boundaries split the county with district 8 to the north of municipalities and district 5 including municipalities and south east, including part of Eagle County and Pitkin County.Garfield County precincts are available in a separate layer: gc_voting VT

Civil townships are a unit of local government, typically subordinate to the County. In Indiana, each township is served by an elected township trustee.Civil townships are primarily represented as Minor Civil Divisions (MCDs) in the source data by the US Census Bureau. Per the US Census, MCDs are the primary governmental or administrative divisions of a county in many states. This data mostly contains MCD boundaries, with some corrected township boundaries (see explanation below). On 1/3/2024, IGIO staff updated the boundaries and/or attributes of 6 townships: Center (Delaware Co), Mount Pleasant (Delaware Co), Eagle (Boone Co), Perry (Boone Co), Union (Boone Co), and Worth (Boone Co). The Delaware County townships were attributed as either Muncie City or Yorktown Town and had associated incorporated area boundaries overlapping the civil township boundary. Boone County had townships attributed as Zionsville City and Whitestown Town and had associated incorporated are boundaries overlapping the real civil township boundary. Civil township boundaries from the 2023 Data Harvest were used when possible to correct geometry, and the neighboring census township boundaries to maintain topology when needed. Eagle and Union townships do not have a populated GEOID since the corrected boundary does not correspond to a census MCD geography to avoid incorrect joins to census tabular data by end users.
