This dashboard presents a set of annual financial indicators for the economy as a whole (‘total economy’) and for each institutional sector of the economy: non-financial corporations, financial corporations, general government, households and Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (NPISH). It provides users with key indicators of the financial health of economies and their sectors. The indicators are calculated from the financial accounts (flows) and balance sheets (stocks), which are compiled in accordance with the 2008 System of National Accounts. The information buttons in the tables provide further details about each of the indicators, including definitions and formulas.
For indicators of debt, the measure used is the broadest measure of debt which may include the following financial liabilities (although coverage varies by sector and by country): Special Drawing Rights, currency and deposits, debt securities (at market value), loans, insurance, pensions and standardised guarantees, and other accounts payable. The ‘adjusted’ measure of debt – as well as of net financial worth – excludes unfunded pension liabilities. As financial liability coverage varies between countries, users should proceed with caution when comparing different countries.
This table is on a consolidated basis, meaning that counterpart assets and liabilities of units within the same sector are removed. The exception is data for Chile, Colombia, Korea and Mexico which is on a non-consolidated basis, meaning that it shows all assets and liabilities of units in a sector without removing counterpart assets and liabilities of units within the same sector.

Most current month: March 2021 (preliminary values at the state and county level)The attributes included for each month are:Unemployment rate (%)Count of unemployed populationCount of employed population in the labor forceCount of people in the labor forceData obtained from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Local Area Unemployment Statistics table download: https://www.bls.gov/lau/#tablesLocal Area Unemployment FTP downloads:State and CountyNationData Notes:This layer is updated automatically when the BLS releases their most current monthly statistics. The layer always contains the most recent estimates. It is updated within days of the BLS's county release schedule. BLS releases their county statistics roughly 2 months after-the-fact. The data is joined to 2019 TIGER boundaries from the U.S. Census Bureau.Monthly values are subject to revision over time. For national values, employed plus unemployed may not sum to total labor force due to rounding. To better understand the different labor force statistics included in this map, see the diagram below from BLS:Esri's U.S. Updated Demographic Data - Population, age, income, sex, race, home value, and marital status are among the variables included in the database. Each year, Esri's Data Development team employs its proven methodologies to update more than 2,000 demographic variables for a variety of U.S. geographies.Data Note: The median household income value divides the distribution of household income into two equal parts. Pareto interpolation is used if the median falls in an income interval other than the first or last. For the lowest interval, <$10,000, linear interpolation is used. If the median falls in the upper income interval of $500,000+, it is represented by the value of $500,001. Age-sex charts emphasize the gap between the numbers of males and females at a specific age group. It also illustrates the age and gender trends across all age and gender groupings. A chart skewed heavily to the left describes a very young population while a chart skewed heavily to the right illustrates an aging population.

This data includes indicators estimated in a multicriteria dashboard applied to assess sustainability of tropical tuna fisheries in Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The objective of this work was to test a multidimensional approach, accounting for the ecological, economic and social dimensions of fisheries sustainability, with the case study of tropical tuna fishing fleets. This dashboard has been constructed based on bibliography review then calculated annually for all historical period available. The principal data raw sources were Regional Fisheries Management Organisation’s (RFMO) public data for the majority of ecologic indicators and the Data Collection Framework (Regulation (EC) 199/2008) for socio-economic indicators and one ecologic indicator (Fuel use intensity or FUI). 24 indicators (14 ecological, 7 economic and 3 socio-economic) were calculated. According to raw data availability, the majority of ecological indicators were calculated from 1950 to 2020 for 356 fleets in Atlantic and Indian oceans, while FUI, economic and socio-economic indicators were calculated only for the European purse seiners and longliners (French and Spanish) over a shorter period of time (2009-2019) than ecological indicators. Because row data from the Data collection framework were aggregated, a method of desegregation based on the allocation on fishing effort to each ocean, was apply to each fleet segment. This dataset is a tool for monitoring the sustainability performance of tuna fisheries and can be re-used to compare different fishing gears performances, flag practices and for different periods.

This dataset represents a selection of indicators as presented in the 2023 edition of the Government at a Glance publication related to government revenue and expenditure disaggregation by economic transactions under the System of National Accounts (SNA). Government at a Glance provides a dashboard of indicators assembled to help decision makers and the public analyse and benchmark governments across OECD members and partner countries. This eighth edition provides internationally comparative data on a range of public governance, tools and practices to help identify both strengths and weaknesses in democratic governance. The Structure and indicators section of the Government at a Glance publication, describes its framework and the structure by chapters, as well as the changes compared to the previous 2021 edition. The 2023 edition presents a new structure around these three broad categories: 1) Trust and satisfaction with public services (trust in public institutions, satisfaction with public services); 2) Achieving results with good governance practices (governance of the policy cycle, regulatory governance, budgeting practices, managing public procurement, infrastructure planning and delivery, digital government and open government data); and 3) What resources public institutions use and how are they managed (public finance, public employment, managing human resources). Further information on Government at a Glance 2023 edition via a dedicated web platform, which includes a Government at a Glance Data dashboard (for a selection of indicators in an interactive format) as well as Country fact sheets (key data by country), can be found at: Government at a Glance website
