    Description

State-level data on all energy sources. Data include production, consumption, reserves, stocks, prices, imports, and exports. Data are collated from state-specific data reported elsewhere on the EIA website and are the most recent values available. The system provides data back from 1960. While some SEDS data series come directly from surveys conducted by EIA, many are estimated using other available information. These estimations are necessary for the compilation of "total energy" estimates. Users of the EIA API are required to obtain an API Key via this registration form: http://www.eia.gov/beta/api/register.cfm

    Description

The “Sustainable Energy for all (SE4ALL)” initiative, launched in 2010 by the UN Secretary General, established three global objectives to be accomplished by 2030: to ensure universal access to modern energy services, to double the global rate of improvement in global energy efficiency, and to double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix. SE4ALL database supports this initiative and provides country level historical data for access to electricity and non-solid fuel; share of renewable energy in total final energy consumption by technology; and energy intensity rate of improvement

    Description

This dataset presents the technical potential for offshore wind development at the country level, split into potential for fixed and floating foundations. The files are grouped per WB regions and delivered in PDF, .SHP, .KMZ (CRS:4326) and .EXCEL format. We recommend non-GIS users to explore the EXCEL files and PDFs that summarize the technical potential per country; furthermore, users can explore the KML files interactively in Google Earth/ Google Maps application. Please read the METADATA file for more information on the methodology used for the spatial analysis. This analysis was undertaken as part of the World Bank Group’s Offshore Wind Development Program which is led by ESMAP in partnership with IFC. The program is supporting the inclusion of offshore wind into the energy sector policies and strategies of WBG client countries and the delivering the technical work needed to build a pipeline of bankable projects. This work was originally created to support the program's report 'Going Global: Expanding Offshore Wind to Emerging Markets'. For more information on the report please see: https://esmap.org/offshore-wind The World Bank and ESMAP do not guarantee the accuracy of this data and accept no responsibility whatsoever for any consequences of their use. The maritime boundaries do not imply on the part of the World Bank any judgement on the legal status of any territory or the endorsement or acceptance of such boundaries.

    Description

The Industrial Energy Data Book (IEDB) aggregates and synthesizes information on the trends in industrial energy use, energy prices, economic activity, and water use. The IEDB also estimates county-level industrial energy use and combustion energy use of large energy-using facilities (i.e., facilities required to report greenhouse gas emissions under the EPA's Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program). These estimates are derived from publicly available sources from EPA, Energy Information Administration, Census Bureau, USDA, and USGS. The estimation methodology is meant to be improved over time with input from the energy analysis and developer communities. Please refer to https://github.com/NREL/Industry-energy-data-book.

    Description

The BUTTER Empirical Deep Learning Dataset represents an empirical study of the deep learning phenomena on dense fully connected networks, scanning across thirteen datasets, eight network shapes, fourteen depths, twenty-three network sizes (number of trainable parameters), four learning rates, six minibatch sizes, four levels of label noise, and fourteen levels of L1 and L2 regularization each. Multiple repetitions (typically 30, sometimes 10) of each combination of hyperparameters were preformed, and statistics including training and test loss (using a 80% / 20% shuffled train-test split) are recorded at the end of each training epoch. In total, this dataset covers 178 thousand distinct hyperparameter settings ("experiments"), 3.55 million individual training runs (an average of 20 repetitions of each experiments), and a total of 13.3 billion training epochs (three thousand epochs were covered by most runs). Accumulating this dataset consumed 5,448.4 CPU core-years, 17.8 GPU-years, and 111.2 node-years.

    Description

The NYSERDA-funded Integrated Energy Data Resource (IEDR) provides a single statewide platform to securely collect, integrate, analyze, and make accessible a large and diverse set of energy-related information from New York's electric, gas, and steam utilities and other sources. Useful access to useful energy data provided by the IEDR enables analyses that informs investment decisions, identifies operational inefficiencies, monitors the effectiveness of policy objectives, promotes innovation, and encourages new business models. The IEDR includes analytic tools to enable energy stakeholders to design and run useful queries and calculations that can operate across all data types in the IEDR. Those tools' number and functionality should increase over time to align with, and support the use cases, that become operational as part of the IEDR. Additionally, relational information that describes the relationships among the various data elements in the IEDR materially affects the depth potential of users' ability to find, analyze, and generate useful information. User access to the IEDR data and analytic tools will be governed by the access controls that reflect and align with each type of user's legitimate needs while preventing unwarranted access to information that does not serve those legitimate needs. Public, utility-managed, and commercial datasets processed by the platform and made available or planned to be made available to approved users in various forms include: • Feeder and sub-feeder hosting capacity • Installed and queued DER projects • Utility Rates and Tariffs • Customer billing and usage • Aggregated building usage • Disadvantaged Community Characteristics • Land, Parcel, and Terrain attributes The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and support to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, accelerate economic growth, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. To learn more about NYSERDA’s programs, visit nyserda.ny.gov or follow us on X, Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram.
