    Description

This Archaeological Survey of Ireland dataset is published from the database of the National Monuments Service Sites and Monuments Record (SMR). This dataset can also be viewed and interrogated through the online Historic Environment Viewer: https://heritagedata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0c9eb9575b544081b0d296436d8f60f8 A Sites and Monuments Record (SMR) was issued for all counties in the State between 1984 and 1992. The SMR is a manual containing a numbered list of certain and possible monuments accompanied by 6-inch Ordnance Survey maps (at a reduced scale). The SMR formed the basis for issuing the Record of Monuments and Places (RMP) – the statutory list of recorded monuments established under Section 12 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act 1994. The RMP was issued for each county between 1995 and 1 998 in a similar format to the existing SMR. The RMP differs from the earlier lists in that, as defined in the Act, only monuments with known locations or places where there are believed to be monuments are included. The large Archaeological Survey of Ireland archive and supporting database are managed by the National Monuments Service and the records are continually updated and supplemented as additional monuments are discovered. On the Historic Environment viewer an area around each monument has been shaded, the scale of which varies with the class of monument. This area does not define the extent of the monument, nor does it define a buffer area beyond which ground disturbance should not take place – it merely identifies an area of land within which it is expected that the monument will be located. It is not a constraint area for screening – such must be set by the relevant authority who requires screening for their own purposes. This data has been released for download as Open Data under the DPER Open Data Strategy and is licensed for re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 Please note that the centre point of each record is not indicative of the geographic extent of the monument. The existing point centroids were digitised relative to the OSI 6-inch mapping and the move from this older IG-referenced series to the larger-scale ITM mapping will necessitate revisions. The accuracy of the derived ITM co-ordinates is limited to the OS 6-inch scale and errors may ensue the user should apply the co-ordinates to larger scale maps. Records that do not refer to ‘monuments’ are designated ‘Redundant record’ and are retained in the archive as they may relate to features that were once considered to be monuments but which on investigation proved otherwise. Redundant records may also refer to duplicate records or errors in the data structure of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland. This dataset is provided for re-use in a number of ways and the technical options are outlined below. For a live and current view of the data, please use the web services or the data extract tool in the Historic Environment Viewer. The National Monuments Service also provides an Open Data snapshot of its national dataset in CSV as a bulk data download. Users should consult the National Monument Service website https://www.archaeology.ie/ for further information and guidance on the National Monument Act(s) and the legal significance of this dataset. Open Data Bulk Data Downloads (version date: 23/08/2023) The Sites and Monuments Record (SMR) is provided as a national download in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format. This format can be easily integrated into a number of software clients for re-use and analysis. The Longitude and Latitude coordinates are also provided to aid its re-use in web mapping systems, however, the ITM easting/northings coordinates should be quoted for official purposes. ERSI Shapefiles of the SMR points and SMRZone polygons are also available The SMRZones represent an area around each monument, the scale of which varies with the class of monument. This area does not define the extent of the monument, nor does it define a buffer area beyond which ground disturbance should not take place – it merely identifies an area of land within which it is expected that the monument will be located. It is not a constraint area for screening – such must be set by the relevant authority who requires screening for their own purposes. GIS Web Service APIs (live views): For users with access to GIS software please note that the Archaeological Survey of Ireland data is also available spatial data web services. Description

Article L.572-3 of the Environmental Code defines noise maps. They provide a diagnosis of the noise environment for sources of noise related to land transport (road and rail), airport noise, as well as industrial noise. Article L.572-6 of the Environmental Code defines environmental noise prevention plans as documents which ‘are intended to prevent the effects of noise, to reduce, where necessary, noise levels and to protect quiet areas’. The Environmental Noise Data Standard contains all the technical information to describe the Strategic Noise Maps (CBS) and the Environmental Noise Prevention Plans (PPBE) in the form of interoperable spatial data of Directive 2002/49/EC of 25 June 2002, transposed into French law by Articles L.572-1 to L.572-11 of the Environmental Code. In Vaucluse, noise maps relate only to noise sources related to land transport (road and rail). The Directive does not identify airports for the purpose of carrying out CBSs. Industrial noises are mapped only in the context of the agglomerations identified by the Directive, and there are no such noises in Vaucluse.

    Description

This is a point dataset showing the location of 258 sweathouses generated from the Sites and Monuments Record (SMR). This dataset is updated on a regular basis by the Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI). Each record in this dataset can be accessed through the online Historic Environment Viewer at https://maps.archaeology.ie/historicenvironment.

The current published dataset dates from April 2023. New sweathouses are updated to the record by the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as soon as possible after the notification of such discovery has been reported to the National Monuments Service (NMS) through their email at nationalmonuments@housing.gov.ie.

Unlocated sweathouses with a 0 0 National Grid Reference are monuments whose location has been lost and await rediscovery by local people who may report their findings to the National Monuments Service at the above email address. The KMZ file can be opened using Google Earth which displays these ‘lost’ monuments at the same location in the Atlantic Ocean. The dataset contains a list of the following fields, county location, monument number known as the SMR Number, Class Description which is the classification type of the monument, townland, ITM E and ITM N are the Easting and Northern Irish Grid reference in Irish Transverse Mercator format, the latitude and longitude of the monument location. The final Links table includes a hyperlink or internet address which takes the browser directly to the online entry for each monument hosted on the Historic Environment Viewer of the National Monuments website at www.archaeology.ie. This dataset is based on information exported from the national database on the 20/04/2023.

Article L.572-3 of the Environmental Code defines noise maps. They are a diagnosis.

The Standard for Noise in the Environment is in the form of a document consisting of two parts: Part 1, entitled “Noise mapping”, which essentially describes elements related to strategic noise maps and environmental noise prevention plans, Part 2, entitled “Data of land transport infrastructure and industries”, which describes the elements necessary upstream for the development of strategic noise maps and environmental noise prevention plans.

The objective is to enable the exchange of noise environmental diagnostic data related to land transport infrastructure and industries such as strategic noise maps, as well as the issues addressed in environmental noise prevention plans. Expected use cases of standardisation of noise mapping in the environment: * facilitate the role of collection, conservation and awareness of areas of discomfort to infrastructure and industry noise

    • facilitate the implementation of Directive 2002/49/EC and European reporting in accordance with the INSPIRE Directive

    • improve production quality of Strategic Noise Cards (CBS)

    • improve the relevance of the visualisations produced

    Description

ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife based on sensitivity to spilled oil. There are three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources. The shoreline and intertidal areas are ranked based on sensitivity determined by: (1) Shoreline type (substrate, grain size, tidal elevation, origin); (2) Exposure to wave and tidal energy; (3) Biological productivity and sensitivity; and (4) Ease of cleanup. The biology layers focus on threatened/endangered species, areas of high concentration, and areas where sensitive life stages may occur. Supporting data tables provide species-/_location-specific abundance, seasonality, status, life history, and source information. Human-use resources mapped include managed areas (parks, refuges, critical habitats, etc.) and resources that may be impacted by oiling and/or cleanup (beaches, archaeological sites, marinas, etc.). ESIs are available for the majority of the US coastline, as well as the US territories. ESI data are available in a variety of GIS formats, as well as PDF maps. For more information or to download complete ESI data sets, go to: https://response.restoration.noaa.gov/esi.

The transitional NVR map was prepared by Department Planning and Environment under Part 5A of the amended Local Land Services Act 2013 (LLS Act) and supporting regulation.\r \r On the 25th of August 2017 the transitional NVR Map was published under transitional arrangements set out in 60F of the LLS Act. \r \r The current published version of the transitional NVR Map (version 11) was published on 23 March 2022. The transitional NVR Map currently displays category 2 – vulnerable regulated land, category 2 – sensitive regulated land and land that is excluded from the LLS Act. The latest version of the map can be viewed online using the NVR Map Viewer. \r \r The transitional NVR Map has been developed to underpin the new land management framework. The transitional NVR Map essentially tells you where the land management code and allowable activities are either limited or not available.\r \r Understanding the map categories.\r \r Currently, the transitional NVR map viewer displays displays category 2 – vulnerable regulated land, category 2 – sensitive regulated land and land that is excluded from the LLS Act. Mapping for category 1 - exempt land and category 2- regulated land are yet to be published.\r \r Broadly, category 1 - exempt land is land that was cleared of native vegetation as at 1 January 1990, or land that was lawfully cleared between 1 January 1990 and 25 August 2017. Category 2 - regulated land is land that was not cleared as at 1 January 1990, was unlawfully cleared after 1 January 1990, or is a prescribed area with an identified environmental value. Land is mapped to each category on the basis of past clearing or disturbance events, as detected by satellite and aerial imagery, and updated land use data. Prescribed areas with an identified environmental value are mapped as category 2 - regulated land, overriding a category 1 - regulated land designation based on the mapping.\r \r Transitional NVR map – land categories and map the 6 colour code\r \r Category\tdefinition\r \r 1. Category 1 - exempt land (Blue)\r Unrestricted management (exempt). Rural lands where clearing of native vegetation is not regulated by Part 5A of the LLS Act 2013.This includes land cleared or significantly disturbed as at 1 January 1990 or lawfully cleared between that date and commencement of Part 5A of the LLS Act 2013. Other legislation may apply to category 1 - exempt land. \r \r 2. Category 2 - regulated land (Yellow)\r Code based management (regulated). N_BCAE7_2020_S_019 Good Agro-Environmental Conditions (GAEC) — Maintaining landscape features (7) (haies, groves, ponds) in Corrèze Extraction of Telepac DDT19 on 28/11/2020

CAP 2015-2020 — Maintaining landscape features

Since 2003, the rules of the Common Agricultural Policy have made certain aid conditional on the cross-compliance of agricultural practices. Cross-compliance of aid is a set of rules to be complied with for any farmer who receives one or more aids linked to the area or number of animals. Within the framework of the 2015-2020 CAP, aid may be conditional, inter alia, by the regulation on Good Agro-Environmental Conditions (GAEC).

Among these, GAEC No 7 establishes rules for maintaining the landscape features which are perennial elements of the landscape (haies, groves, ponds). These semi-natural environments, essential for the implementation of a sustainable development policy, constitute habitats, transition zones and displacement environments favourable to the diversity of plant and animal species, water quality, living environment...

These rules are laid down by the Ministerial Decree of 24 April 2015 which defines the landscape features in question and lays down the procedures for removing, modifying or moving these elements. The last paragraph of this order recalls Article D-615-50-1 of the Rural and Maritime Fisheries Code, which prohibits the cutting of hedges between 1 April and 31 July.

    Description

An Ecological Continuity Classification corresponds to all or part of a course or channel identified in a stop taken by the Basin Coordinating Prefect pursuant to Article L.214-17 of the Environmental Code. The classification into list 1 (1° of § I of Article L. 214-17 of the Environmental Code) is intended to protect certain rivers from degradation and allows a long-term preservation objective to be displayed. They cancel, replace, and complete the classification as reserved rivers under the 1919 Act. List 2 (2° of § 1 of Article L. 214-17 of the Environmental Code), annuls, replaces and completes the concept of ‘rivers classified’ under L. 432-6 of the Environmental Code, must make it possible to ensure that existing works are quickly compatible with the objectives of ecological continuity. The founding regulatory text of an Ecological Continuity Classification is the classification decree signed by the Basin Coordinating Prefect in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article R.214-10 of the Environmental Code providing for departmental consultation of classification projects before validation by the Basin Coordinating Prefect. The classification of rivers in respect of the crossing of migrants is carried out under 2° (list 2) of Article L.214-17-I of the Environmental Code for the criterion “courses for which it is necessary to ensure the circulation of migratory fish (amphihalins or not)”.

    Description

A Sites and Monuments Record (SMR) was issued for all counties in the State between 1984 and 1992. The SMR is a manual containing a numbered list of certain and possible monuments accompanied by 6-inch Ordnance Survey maps (at a reduced scale). The SMR formed the basis for issuing the Record of Monuments and Places (RMP) - the statutory list of recorded monuments established under Section 12 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act 1994. The RMP was issued for each county between 1995 and 1998 in a similar format to the existing SMR. The RMP differs from the earlier lists in that, as defined in the Act, only monuments with known locations or places where there are believed to be monuments are included. The large archive and supporting database are managed by the National Monuments Service and the records are continually updated and supplemented as additional monuments are discovered.

    Description

The European Directive on Strategic Noise Maps requires as a minimum the representation of the overall noise indicators Lden and Ln, for each source. These indicators correspond to the incident noise on the facades. The indicators represented are expressed in dB(A) and reflect a notion of overall discomfort or health risk. The data in this data set are related to the Lden indicator. “Lden" is an indicator of the overall noise level during a day (day, evening and night) used to qualify the discomfort associated with exposure to noise. It is calculated from the indicators "Lday", "Levening", "Lnight", "average noise levels over the periods 6h-18h, 18h-22h and 22h-6h. These are more precisely the isophone curves drawn in steps of 5 dB(A) from 55 dB(A) over a whole day. The routes concerned are mainly the Avenue du Commandant Bernier, Avenue Roger Aubin and the road from Limoges to Melle. Articles L572-1 to 11 of the Environmental Code laying down various provisions for adaptation to Community law in the field of the environment and the implementing texts (Decree No 2006-361 of 24 March 2006, Decree of 4 April 2006 and Circular of 7 June 2007 on the drawing up of noise maps and plans for the prevention of environmental noise) provide for the indicators, the calculation methods to be used and the results I'm waiting for you. The data for this lot have been collected in accordance with these texts.
