Since the July 2022 Partner Workshop, federal agencies have been working together to develop an interagency approach to implementing a historic amount of funding for fish passage projects over the five-year Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) implementation period (FY22-26). Shannon Boyle, USFWS provided an overview of the formation of the Federal Interagency Fish Passage Task Force (Task Force), and covered its goals, strategic implementation recommendations, and the activities it is currently working on (highlighting the Fish Passage Portal) and hopes to push forward with in the next year.
