    The share of the global gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP) in Ethiopia was estimated at about 0.23 percent in 2024. From 1980 to 2024, the share rose by approximately 0.14 percentage points, though the increase followed an uneven trajectory rather than a consistent upward trend.
