Digital topographic maps are raster data from the existing topographic national map series. The raster data is divided into different levels according to cartographic content elements and can be submitted as individual levels or as a colored combination. The DTK50 are digital topographic maps, which are derived from a corresponding ATKIS-DLM in new map graphics and level structure. It is available in 24 individual levels (single layers) in black and white or in color combination in different resolutions. The raster data can be used as individual sheets in the sheet section of the topographic maps and as sheet section-free preparations (overall file and/or tiles) in various geodetic reference systems and map projections covering the entire area or excerpts for the federal state of Thuringia.

Presentation service of the Digital Topographic Map 1:250 000, 1:500 000, 1:1 000 000 in a coordinated scale for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. Scale: 1:1000000, 1:500000, 1:250000
Combined product: Digital Topographic Map 1:5000 (Normal Edition - TK5N) with Digital Orthophoto 0,4 m Rhineland-Palatinate (Specification: DOP40 RGB) (TK5L40) Topographic maps are landscape-descriptive maps in which the surface of the earth is represented. The DTK5 contains the essential objects of the earth's surface such as settlements, transport networks, vegetation, waters and terrain, property boundaries, boundaries of political and administrative units with names and other descriptive information. With its combination of topography and property boundaries, it forms the link between the property map and the topographic maps. Digital orthophotos (DOP) are distortion-free and true-to-scale photographic images of the earth's surface. They are derived from oriented digital aerial images and a digital elevation model. TrueDOP uses an image-based digital surface model (bDOM) as its elevation model.

Vector data from the basic DLM are generalized for the digital topographic maps and processed according to the ATKIS signature catalogue. The digital data can be submitted via download or on other media carriers. They are available in a maximum of 22 content levels (according to the technical regulations of the AdV) in three forms (individual levels, gray combination and color combination). It should be noted that a UTM grid is only output in the individual levels. The standard resolution is 200L/cm = 508dpi. The TK (ATKIS) presents a map issue with the same content as a printed map. The data is provided free of charge via automated processes or by self-extraction. When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.

The digital topographic maps are generated from digital landscape and terrain models as well as the official real estate cadastre information system ALKIS and visualized according to the nationwide ATKIS signature catalogue. They are available in a maximum of 23 content levels (according to the technical regulations of the AdV) in three forms (individual levels, gray combination and color combination). The data are comprehensive and available in the uniform geodetic reference system and map projection for the state of Brandenburg. The raster data is divided into different levels according to cartographic content elements. They are delivered without page cuts as single-color individual levels (layers) and as colored combined editions in a uniform resolution. In addition, the data is offered in the standard sheet format (with map frame and legend) as a PDF and as a plotted map. They are available as web services, as raster data and as analogue map prints (plots). When using the data, the license conditions must be observed.

Important Note: This item is in mature support as of June 2021.This map features a detailed topographic basemap for Europe built by Esri from a variety of publicly available and commercial data sources. The map has been updated recently with detailed data for several European cities. This map is part of the World Topographic Map, which is one of the featured community basemaps hosted by Esri and built from data from many organizations in the ArcGIS user community. The detailed data for Europe currently included in the map comes from a variety of public and commercial sources, including the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, U.S. Geological Survey, DeLorme, Tele Atlas, and Intermap.Esri would like to enhance the quality and detail of the map data for Europe by working with various national mapping agencies and other local government agencies through the Community Maps Program.
