    Description

    This map features a set of live feature layers of OpenStreetMap (OSM) data for North America. The layers are updated every few minutes with the latest OSM data. The map contains bookmarks for several large cities in North America that you can browse, but you can explore any part of Canada, Greenland, Mexico, or the United States to see the OSM data in each layer.The feature layers in this map provide access to OSM data that is updated continuously by OSM contributors. The layers in this map are hosted feature layer views. The feature layer views each reference a hosted feature layer of OSM data (point, line, or polygon) in ArcGIS Online, which are updated with minutely diffs from the OSM planet file. The feature layers represent different types of features (e.g. buildings, highways, amenities) that are defined as a query against one of the hosted feature layers.These layers are intended for visualization, analysis, and (eventually) export of the OSM data. Users can click on the features to get 'popup' info about a feature based on tags that have been applied by OSM contributors. Users can also change the symbology of features, or filter features by attributes, to highlight specific types of features (e.g. schools or hospitals).The layers have an automatic refresh interval of varying lengths so they will display new features, or update existing features, in the map as edits are made by other OSM contributors and refreshed in the layer cache. The layers have cache control settings ranging between 1 and 15 minutes, depending on update frequency, in order to optimize display performance and scalability.You can edit the OSM data through the OpenStreetMap Web site or other OSM editors such as RapiD. The layer popups include links to view or edit individual features in the OpenStreetMap Web site. You can access these and other feature layers through the OpenStreetMap Layers group in the OpenStreetMap site maintained by Esri in ArcGIS Online.

    Information Lookup is a configurable web application template that can be used to provide the general public, internal staff and other interested parties with information about a location. If no features are found at that location, a general message is displayed.     The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) produces Flood Insurance Rate maps and identifies Special Flood Hazard Areas as part of the National Flood Insurance Program's floodplain management. Special Flood Hazard Areas have regulations that include the mandatory purchase of flood insurance.

    Visible Scale: The layer is limited to scales of 1:1,000,000 and larger. Use the USA Flood Hazard Areas imagery layer for smaller scales.
    Publication Date: April 1, 2019

    This layer is derived from the April 1, 2019 version of the National Flood Hazard Layer feature class S_Fld_Haz_Ar. The data were aggregated into eight classes to produce the Esri Symbology field based on symbology provided by FEMA. All other layer attributes are derived from the National Flood Hazard Layer. The layer was projected to Web Mercator Auxiliary Sphere and the resolution set to 1 meter.

    To improve performance Flood Zone values "Area Not Included", "Open Water", "D", "NP", and No Data were removed from the layer. Areas with Flood Zone value "X" subtype "Area of Minimal Flood Hazard" were also removed. An imagery layer created from this dataset provides access to the full set of records in the National Flood Hazard Layer.

    Description

    This web map is a subset of OpenStreetMap (OSM) point data of medical facilities for Australia and Oceania for the Pacific Region, which is updated every 15 minutes with the latest edits. You can access the Source Feature Service from here. This hosted feature layer view is referencing a hosted feature layer of OSM point (node) data in ArcGIS Online that is updated with minutely diffs from the OSM planet file. This feature layer view includes amenity features defined as a query against the hosted feature layer where the amenity value is any of 'hospital', 'clinic', 'doctors', or 'pharmacy'.In OSM, amenities are useful and important facilities for visitors and residents, such as hospitals and clinics. These features are identified with an amenity tag. There are thousands of different tag values used in the OSM database. In this feature layer, unique symbols are used for the most common amenity tags used for medical facilities.Zoom in to large scales (e.g. Neighborhood level or 1:20k scale) to see the amenity features display. You can click on a feature to get the name of the amenity. The name of the amenity will display by default at very large scales (e.g. Building level of 1:2k scale). Labels can be turned off in your map if you prefer.Create New LayerIf you would like to create a more focused version of this medical facilities layer displaying just one or two amenity types, you can do that easily! Just add the layer to a map, copy the layer in the content window, add a filter to the new layer (e.g. amenity is hospital), rename the layer as appropriate, and save layer. You can also change the layer symbols or popup if you like. Esri will publish a few such layers (e.g. Places of Worship, Schools, and Parking) that are ready to use, but not for every type of amenity.Important Note: if you do create a new layer, it should be provided under the same Terms of Use and include the same Credits as this layer.     The Census of Agriculture, produced by the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (USDA), provides a complete count of America's farms, ranches and the people who grow our food. The census is conducted every five years, most recently in 2017, and provides an in-depth look at the agricultural industry.This layer summarizes wheat production from the 2017 Census of Agriculture at the county level.This layer was produced from data downloaded using the USDA's QuickStats Application. The data was transformed using the Pivot Table tool in ArcGIS Pro and joined to the county boundary file provided by the USDA. The layer was published as feature layer in ArcGIS Online.     IntroductionIRWIN ArcGIS Online GeoPlatform Services The Integrated Reporting of Wildland-Fire Information (IRWIN) Production data is replicated every 60 seconds to the ArcGIS Online GeoPlatform organization so that read-only views can be provided for consumers. This replicated view is called the hosted datastore. The “IRWIN Data” group is a set of Feature Layer views based on the replicated IRWIN layers. These feature layers provide a near real-time feed of all valid IRWIN data. All incidents that have been shared through the integration service since May 20, 2014 are available through this service. The incident data provides the location of existing fires, size, conditions and several other attributes that help classify fires. The IRWIN Data service allows users to create a web map, share it with their organization, or pull it into ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro for more in-depth analysis.InstructionsTo allow the emergency management GIS staff to join the IRWIN Data group, they will need to set up an ArcGIS Online account through our account manager. Please send the response to Samantha Gibbes (Samantha.C.Gibbes@saic.com) and Kayloni Ahtong (kayloni_ahtong@ios.doi.gov).     This layer features special areas of interest (AOIs) that have been contributed to Esri Community Maps using the new Community Maps Editor app. The data that is accepted by Esri will be included in selected Esri basemaps, including our suite of Esri Vector Basemaps, and made available through this layer to export and use offline. Export DataThe contributed data is also available for contributors and other users to export (or extract) and re-use for their own purposes. Users can export the full layer from the ArcGIS Online item details page by clicking the Export Data button and selecting one of the supported formats (e.g. shapefile, or file geodatabase (FGDB)). User can extract selected layers for an area of interest by opening in Map Viewer, clicking the Analysis button, viewing the Manage Data tools, and using the Extract Data tool. To display this data with proper symbology and metadata in ArcGIS Pro, you can download and use this layer file.Data UsageThe data contributed through the Community Maps Editor app is primarily intended for use in the Esri Basemaps. Esri staff will periodically (e.g. weekly) review the contents of the contributed data and either accept or reject the data for use in the basemaps. Accepted features will be added to the Esri basemaps in a subsequent update and will remain in the app for the contributor or others to edit over time.
