    3The online marketplace Amazon assessed its worldwide carbon footprint by releasing data on the the amounts of emissions generated by its operational activities between 2018 and 2023. The total footprint of the marketplace increased up to 2021, reaching 71.54 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. In 2023, the carbon footprint was slightly reduced to 68.82 million metric tons.

    3D model of small bird track from the Hot Springs mammoth site, originally described by Falkingham et al 2010.Dataset includes 6 photos and photogrammetric model.Photos were not taken with photogrammetry in mind, so scale bar moves between images, and there aren't many.

    Description

    For the year 2024, the LEGO Group's carbon emissions came to a total of roughly 144 thousand tons. This is the highest volume of CO2 emissions recorded by the company in the time period observed. Although there is room for improvement when it comes to LEGO's carbon footprint, the company drastically reduced how much of its waste goes directly to landfill between 2018 and 2023 and kept numbers relatively low even in 2024.
