This dataset provides values for GASOLINE PRICES reported in several countries. The data includes current values, previous releases, historical highs and record lows, release frequency, reported unit and currency.

Denmark is the most expensive EU country for drivers fueling their cars with gasoline. As of January 2025, Denmark's gasoline price averaged **** euros per liter. It was the only country to have average prices above *** euros per liter that month. Product related costs accounted for the greatest price component, at **** euros per liter.

Denmark had the highest diesel prices among European Union countries in January 2025. That month, drivers in Denmark paid an average of **** euros per liter for diesel. Taxes, including value-added tax (VAT) and indirect taxes, made up **** euros of the total price.

The average monthly price for natural gas in the United States amounted to **** nominal U.S. dollars per million British thermal units (Btu) in May 2025. By contrast, natural gas prices in Europe were about three times higher than those in the U.S. Prices in Europe tend to be notably higher than those in the U.S. as the latter benefits from being a major hydrocarbon producer. Europe's import reliance European prices for natural gas rose most notable throughout the second half of 2021 and much of 2022, peaking at over ** U.S. dollars per million Btu in August 2022. The sharp rise was due to supply chain issues and economic strain following the COVID-19 pandemic, which was further exacerbated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in early 2022. Meanwhile, LNG was a great beneficiary, with LNG demand in Europe rising by more than ** percent between 2021 and 2023. How domestic natural gas production shapes prices As intimated, the United States’ position among the leaders of worldwide natural gas production is one of the main reasons for why prices for this commodity are so low across the country. In 2023, the U.S. produced more than ************ cubic meters of natural gas, which allays domestic demand and allows for far lower purchasing prices.

Real-time prices for five (5) different types of fuels (Leaded 95, Unleaded 98, Motion Oil, Heating Oil, Kerosini) from about 300 petrol stations on a pan-Cypriot scale. Interested parties wishing to use the Observatory’s data shall be given access to the platform’s prices in XML format upon request. In June 2023, Denmark had the highest gasoline prices out of all European Union (EU) member countries, at an average price of **** euros per liter. During the same month, Bulgaria had the lowest gasoline price of any EU country, at **** euros per liter.

This table contains pump prices for motor fuels at petrol stations. Weighted average daily prices are published of petrol Euro95, diesel oil and LPG including VAT and excise duties. These daily prices are published once a week.

Fuel prices, already high due to a recovering post-pandemic economy, surged even higher after Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 2022. As of May of that same year, UCOME (used cooking oil methyl ester) average wholesale prices were higher than any other fuel, standing at 2,607 U.S. dollars per metric ton of oil equivalent. This represented an increase of over 124 percent when compared to 2018/2019 average prices. However, the largest price increase was reported for TME (tallow methyl ester). As of May 2022, TME's average wholesale price amounted to 1,112 U.S. dollars per metric ton of oil equivalent, up by more than 133 percent in comparison to 2018/2019.
