The Street_and_Address_Composite will return a geographic coordinate when a street address is entered. A user can enter an address either manually or by bulk input from a database or other source. The geocoder returns a coordinate pair and standardized address for each input address it is able to match. The NYS ITS Geospatial Services geocoder uses a series of combinations of reference data and configuration parameters to optimize both the likelihood of a match and the quality of the results. The reference data supporting the geocoder is stored in Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard. The first composite locator (Street_and_Address_Composite) is made up of the following set of locators which are most likely to return a high quality hit. This mapping tool provides a representation of the general watershed boundaries for stream systems declared fully appropriated by the State Water Board. The boundaries were created by Division of Water Rights staff by delineating FASS critical reaches and consolidating HUC 12 sub-watersheds to form FASS Watershed boundaries. As such, the boundaries are in most cases conservative with respect to the associated stream system. However, users should check neighboring FASS Watersheds to ensure the stream system of interest is not restricted by other FASS listings. For more information regarding the Declaration of Fully Appropriated Stream Systems, visit the Division of Water Rights’ Fully Appropriated Streams webpage. How to Use the Interactive Mapping Tool: If it is your first time viewing the map, you will need to click the “OK” box on the splash screen and agree to the disclaimer before continuing. Navigate to your point of interest by either using the search bar or by zooming in on the map. You may enter a stream name, street address, or watershed ID in the search bar. Click on the map to identify the location of interest and one or more pop-up boxes may appear with information about the fully appropriated stream systems within the general watershed boundaries of the identified location. The information provided in the pop-up box may include: (a) stream name, (b) tributary, (c) season declared fully appropriated, (d) Board Decisions/Water Right Orders, and/or (e) court references/adjudications. You may toggle the FAS Streams reference layer on and off to find representative critical reaches associated with the FASS Watershed layer. Please note that this layer is for general reference purposes only and ultimately the critical reach listed in Appendix A of Water Rights Order 98-08 and Appendix A together with any associated footnotes controls. Note: A separate FAS Watershed boundary layer was created for the Bay-Delta Watershed. The Bay-Delta Watershed layer should be toggled on to check if the area of interest is fully appropriated under State Water Board Decision 1594.

Address points mark the location of each addressable structure and its access point. The access point is the place where a driveway intersects the road. The building point is where the structure is located. An addressable structure is one where people live, work, or gather. A 1 to 5-digit number designates an address. Purpose: The access point is used to assign an address to the structure. Addresses are also assigned to assist in the provision of emergency services; they can be queried at all Fire and Rescue stations and by E-911 dispatchers. Supplemental Information: Data are stored in the corporate ArcSDE Geodatabase as a feature class. The coordinate system is Virginia State Plane (North), Zone 4501, datum NAD83 HARN. Maintenance and Update Frequency: Daily Completeness Report: Features may have been eliminated or generalized due to scale and intended use. To assist Loudoun County, Virginia in the maintenance of the data, please provide any information concerning discovered errors, omissions, or other discrepancies found in the data.

HEPGIS is a web-based interactive geographic map server that allows users to navigate and view geo-spatial data, print maps, and obtain data on specific features using only a web browser. It includes geo-spatial data used for transportation planning. HEPGIS previously received ARRA funding for development of Economically distressed Area maps. It is also being used to demonstrate emerging trends to address MPO and statewide planning regulations/requirements , enhanced National Highway System, Primary Freight Networks, commodity flows and safety data . HEPGIS has been used to help implement MAP-21 regulations and will help implement the Grow America Act, particularly related to Ladder of Opportunities and MPO reforms.
KC streets derived from the cadastral database where lines represent the mid-point of the parcel right-of-way. Because it's parcel based, lines will not always align with the ortho photos. A feature in ST_ADDRESS should exist if there is a property with a valid address. A property such as an apartment or condo complex may have many streets within the property but only one street will be shown in ST_ADDRESS, containing the site address. Use TRANS_NETWORK when the lines should more closely match the ortho photos.

This dataset represents the address point locations assigned by the Mat-Su Borough GIS/Addressing staff. Most of the parcels within the Mat-Su Borough that are road accessible have been assigned a physical address except where the access point is unknown, as with undeveloped corner lots. The address points in this dataset do not necessarily represent precise building locations as the data was originally based on the underlying parcel centroids. Data has historically been constructed and maintained using ArcView and ArcEditor applications. The current address assignment process involves using an ArcMap extension called MapSAG, which creates point features as directed by the GIS Addressing staff. Address information is populated at this time. As underlying parcel data accuracy has been spatially improved through field verification and mapping grade GPS equipment, address points have been shifted accordingly to fall within the appropriate parcels.
