Available for viewing and sharing as a map in a Koordinates map viewer. This data is also available for export to DWG for CAD, PDF, KML, CSV, and GIS data formats, including Shapefile, MapInfo, and Geodatabase.

This data layer was developed to support Denver's Food Retail Expansion to Support Health (FRESH) program. This layer will be stored on the City and County of Denver Spatial Database Engine (SDE) server. The data will be maintained on the SDE by the Office of Economic Development. It will be distributed through the SDE and the Denver Open Data Catalog. Data will be updated as time and resources permit, as data falls out of date, or through annual/bi-annual scheduled maintenance.Denver FRESH representatives will monitor Denver GIS requirements and submit current FRESH data layers to City SDE as applicable. Published data will comply with the City and County of Denver’s requirements and Denver Environmental Health’s GIS Cartographic Standards as described in the data layer’s metadata file. Data sources that originate outside the City must be cited. City data beyond normal base layers should have the sources stated, or if the layer is “unusual” or time sensitive then the source and year should be stated.

RTD's publicly available GIS data including service area and director districts boundaries, available for download.The following is an updated boundary map of the district area as described in Colorado Revised Statute Title 32 Special Districts, Special Statutory Districts, Article 9 Regional transportation District Act current through the First Regular Session of the Sixty-Fifth General Assembly (2005). This description is meant to clarify and simplify the current statutory boundary description and does not constitute an annexation. Portions of the original District boundary with ambiguous or poorly described boundary lines have been drawn based on the location that has been historically used by the District as per House Bill 07-1295. Research of county records for municipal annexations that affect the District boundary has been completed as of June 3, 2022.

After analyzing the map, there are some spatial concerns that need to be addressed. Most of the city has a trend of low median household income, and the least poor being in the central part of the city. The neighborhood of Jefferson in the eastern part of Denver is evidence of a food desert, as well as in the Lakeside suburb and Westwood (“Planting Seeds in Food Deserts: Neighborhood Gardens, Produce in Corner Stores” 2014) . One thing that really stood out to me was the lack of grocery stores in the eastern part of Denver, just bordering Aurora. This area is a food desert, and the average income of the area is below average. The wealthier neighborhoods are granted more sufficient access just near this part of Denver. We also see quality access to food towards the center of the city in the areas with lower income. The further we move outwards, the more and more the grocery stores start spreading out from a cluster form. From analyzing the map, it seems like living on the outskirts of Denver is where the lower income households will struggle with access to food

There are some very wealthy neighborhoods, specifically along Colorado Boulevard, where there are a lot of high quality grocery stores. This extensive street only has grocery stores located in the wealthy part of it. If we look north, towards the interstate, we see absolutely none located along Colorado Blvd. It is clear that the grocery stores were placed in the central part of Colorado Blvd, as opposed to the northern and southern parts where the average income is much lower. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. Face refers to the areal (polygon) topological primitives that make up MTDB. A face is bounded by one or more edges; its boundary includes only the edges that separate it from other faces, not any interior edges contained within the area of the face. The Topological Faces Shapefile contains the attributes of each topological primitive face. Each face has a unique topological face identifier (TFID) value. Each face in the shapefile includes the key geographic area codes for all geographic areas for which the Census Bureau tabulates data for both the 2010 Census and the annual estimates and surveys. The geometries of each of these geographic areas can then be built by dissolving the face geometries on the appropriate key geographic area codes in the Topological Faces Shapefile.

The purpose of this layer is to provide an accurate representation of impervious surfaces in the City and County of Denver. This layer combines Stormwater Billing impervious surfaces with Planimetric impervious surfaces; allowing for a comprehensive, city-wide, impervious surface layer.This layer is a compilation of two independent sources of impervious surface data. The data is provided by both the City and County of Denver’s Public Works Wastewater Management Division-Customer Service (WMD-CS) and Kucera International Inc.The WMD-CS data represents areas digitized for all stormwater billing inspections after December 2002 and contains impervious surface delineations of each inspected property. These features are updated daily by WMD-CS field investigators and GIS personnel. The planimetric data, supplied by Kucera International Inc, defines the stereocompiled features of the DRCOG Denver Region Urbanized Project Area. The features were compiled from the Denver Regional Aerial Photography Project (DRAPP) 2016 Aerial Imagery Acquisition and Production. This 1"=100' scale imagery is comprised of 4-band RGBIR color orthoimagery with a GSD (Ground Sample Distance) of 0.5'. Imagery was collected with the Leica ADS40 and ADS80 digital sensors and processed with Leica XPro software. Imagery is projected in State Plane Coordinate System, Colorado central zone using the Lambert Conformal Conic map projection parameters. Horizontal and vertical datums are NAD83(11) and NAVD88(GEOID12A) respectively. The planimetric features are static.

The original election precinct boundaries have been adjusted to the Denver GIS census block coverage to increase the spatial accuracy of this data. Although every effort was made to ensure the accurate rectification of the data, due to geographic problems inherent in the original 2010 census block data, errors may exist.

The snow routes are linear-referenced (i.e., m-enabled. This means that each feature has a measure coordinate that generally starts at zero and ends at the feature length. The measure units are US Survey Feet. Priority is a value that represents the volume of traffic that utilizes a specific road. Super A (highest volume), A (high volume), B (lower volume), and S (Used for direct access to a school). This layer does not display residential snow routes, these types of routes are activated depending on snow quantity and available resources.

This layer displays ordinances and resolutions relating to City and County right-of-way (ROW). Included are vacations. These actions are not depicted on City Surveyor's office linens, and are dated 1996 to the present. ROW ordinances older than 1996 but missing from the linens are also digitized in this layer.

Census tracts are small, relatively permanent geographic entities within counties (or the statistical equivalents of counties) delineated by a committee of local data users. Generally, census tracts have between 2,500 and 8,000 residents and boundaries that follow visible features. This data-set includes the housing and population data from Summary File 1, and Summary File 3 of the 2000 census. The data-set does not contain data for any enclaves administered by other jurisdictions that are located within the City and County of Denver's boundary.

The Denver Police Department strives to make crime data as accurate as possible, but there is no avoiding the introduction of errors into this process, which relies on data furnished by many people and that cannot always be verified. Data on this site are updated Monday through Friday, adding new incidents and updating existing data with information gathered through the investigative process.Not surprisingly, crime data become more accurate over time, as new incidents are reported and more information comes to light during investigations.Crimes that occurred at least 30 days ago tend to be the most accurate, although records are returned for incidents that happened yesterday. This dynamic nature of crime data means that content provided here today will probably differ from content provided a week from now. Likewise, content provided on this site will probably differ somewhat from crime statistics published elsewhere by the City and County of Denver, even though they draw from the same database.

This dataset is an index of Public Land Survey System (PLSS) lines within the City and County of Denver. It is similar to the other Township-Range-Section layers available on the CCD GIS except:1) this dataset contains quarter-section and sixteenth-section lines, and2) the extent of this dataset is limited to GPS-derived and calculated land corner positions, and does not extend as far as the other TRS layers.
