This dataset was created to inventory Forsyth County's wastewater infrastructure. The data has been created by digitizing as-built drawings and CAD files in conjunction with orthophotography. Some data has been field verified with mapping grade GPS and survey grade GPS. Other uses include mapping and modeling.Two sub-layers for public consumption (FCWS & Private/Other).

CUP - Conditional Use Permit, HOP - Home Occupation Permit, and SP - Sketch Plat. These are all applications which require approval from the Planning Commision (HOP) and the Board of Commissioners (CUP, SP). The Simultaneous Conveyance feature class is updated nightly extracting information from the Parcel Fabric into the feature class.

This layer was developed by the Community Development Division of the Atlanta Regional Commission for use as an inventory of parks and protected greenspace in the 20-county Atlanta Region. An initial inventory for an 11-county area (RDC area and Forsyth County) was initially done by Georgia Tech (Center for GIS). Data developed and maintained by other agencies have also been utilized to develop the inventory including Georgia DNR and local GIS inventories of parks. All local governments in the 20-county area were sent the inventory for their area for review and comment beginning in March 2006. Many local governments reviewed the inventory and made primarily minor corrections. A major update took place in 2015 - 2016.
