TwitterThis resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) System (MTS). The MTS represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads shapefile includes all features within the MTS Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in the MTS that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

Twitter'Franklin County 6 inch aerial photography was collected for Project Area 1 of Kentucky's Aerial Photography and Elevation Data program (KYAPED), Aerial photography related to this data was captured in late winter and early spring of 2012 as part of a collaborative effort among federal, state and local government agencies as well as educational entities in Kentucky. 'An orthoimage is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthoimagery combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. There is no image overlap between adjacent files. Data received at Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS)) were reprojected from: Projection: NAD_1983_StatePlane_Kentucky_FIPS_1600_Feet Resolution: 6 inch Type: 4 Band to: Standard Product Projection: NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_16N Standard Product Resolution: 0.1500 m Rows: 10000 Columns: 10000 and resampled to align to the U.S. National Grid (USNG) using The National Map. The naming convention is based on the U.S. National Grid (USNG), taking the coordinates of the SW corner of the orthoimage. The metadata were imported and updated for display through The National Map at http://nationalmap.gov/viewer.html Chip-level metadata are provided in HTML and XML format. Data were compressed utilizing IAS software. The compression was JPEG2000 Lossy Compressed. The file format created was .jp2.

TwitterThis is the County parcel layer as maintained in a joint effort by the GIS Office and the Commissioner of Revenue's Office. The GIS Office maintains the parcel geometry based on available plats and deeds that are recorded with the Courts. The data associated with these parcels are maintained by the Commissioner of Revenue's Office by those same recorded deeds and plats. We do our best to stay as current as posssible, though there is always an unavoidable gap between transactions and the data associated with those transactions being available online.

Download .zipMaps and data associated with oil-and-gas wells represent one of the largest datasets at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This GIS data layer contains all the locatable oil-and-gas wells in Ohio. The feature is derived from coordinates obtained from the Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (DOGRM) oil and gas well database – Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS). The RBDMS database has a long history and is a comprehensive collection of well data from historic pre-1980 paper well records (digitized by the Division of Geological Survey (DGS)) to post-1980 DOGRM database solutions.Since 1860, it is estimated that more than 267,000 oil-and-gas wells have been drilled in Ohio. The compressed file also includes a feature used to connect the surface location to the bottom location of a well that has been drilled directionally or horizontally. This feature is NOT the actual wellbore path, it is simply a graphical representation indicating the relationship between the two well points.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesDivision of Oil & Gas ResourcesOil and Gas Resources Management2045 Morse Road Bldg F-2Columbus, OH, 43229-6693Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov

TwitterThe Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. The dataset extends countywide and is attribute by Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.DOR reference with FIPS county codes and attribution definitions - https://fgio.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=ff7b985e139c4c7ba844500053e8e185If you discover the inadvertent release of a confidential record exempt from disclosure pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records laws, immediately notify the Department of Revenue at 850-717-6570 and your local Florida Property Appraisers’ Office. Download .zipThis theme represents a ranking of Franklin County soil mapping units obtained from the ODNR, Div. of Lands and Soils. It should be noted that this ranking reflects conditions at the time of field mapping for the soil survey. Much of this land has subsequently been lost to agricultural use due to urban development.
The soils used in this analysis were digitized from the paper final soil survey field sheets. These sheets were taped together to form an area covering each of the USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps in the county. The areas for each quadrangle were then digitized using run-length encoding technique sampling along horizontal lines which represented the midline of cells with a height of 250 feet. The measurement increment along these lines was one decafoot (10 feet). The quadrangle files were then merged into a county file which has subsequently been converted to Arc/Info format.
The user should bear in mind that this coverage is only an approximation of the soil survey and should not be used for site specific analysis.
Additional details of the digitizing process are available upon request.
