    Description

    This resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) System (MTS). The MTS represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads shapefile includes all features within the MTS Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in the MTS that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

    Guilford County enjoys a rich history and a strong sense of pride in its past. The County is committed to protect the rich inheritance by recognizing and protecting sites that embody elements of culture, history, architectural story. The Guilford County Historic Preservation Commission has recognized individual sites through a standard voluntary process established by state law, known as Landmark sites. Once recognized, alterations to these designated Landmarks are monitored, and changes can be made upon receiving approval by the Commission. This story map is a virtual tour to all such Landmark properties in Guilford County, North Carolina.

    This data set is a polygon layer denoting the five City Council districts for the City of Greensboro, NC. District boundaries are derived from census data to determine fair council district boundaries based on reasonable geographic area, population, demographics. City Council districts are updated at least every decennial census, though they are also updated as City annexations occur or when population shifts necessitate redistricting. Attribute data is updated after each Municipal General Election held during odd-numbered years. (Last updated November 2013)

    Alamance County Parcels Impacted by the 2018 County Line involving Alamance and Guilford County, NC. The layer represents the preliminary data impacted by the county line resolution. Alamance Parcels are split accordingly along the Alamance Guilford County line. Resulting acreage to another county will be transferred accordingly to the respect tax department.

This includes the following counties: Alamance, Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Caswell, Catawba, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Stokes, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin, and Yancey. The imagery has a pixel resolution of 6 inches and was flown in the beginning of 2018. The RMSE is 1.5 ft X and Y. Individual pixel values may have been altered during image processing. Therefore, this service should be used for general reference and viewing. Image analysis requiring examination of individual pixel values is discouraged.
