This feature layer replaces the Master_RC_Geo_July_2022 feature layer. The original name does not change to allow future data updates without generating a new feature layer. This feature layer represents the changes to the Red Cross corporate geography for Fiscal Year 2025. The data was updated in January 2025 based on the January 2025 update from the original source files from Humanitarian Services, Operations. This Feature Layer supersedes all previous versions of the Red Cross Master Geography and should be used to update any Web Maps using a previous version.
The Digital Bedrock Geologic-GIS Map of Minuteman National Historical Site and Vicinity, Massachusetts is composed of GIS data layers and GIS tables, and is available in the following GRI-supported GIS data formats: 1.) a 10.1 file geodatabase (mima_bedrock_geology.gdb), a 2.) Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) geopackage, and 3.) 2.2 KMZ/KML file for use in Google Earth, however, this format version of the map is limited in data layers presented and in access to GRI ancillary table information. The file geodatabase format is supported with a 1.) ArcGIS Pro map file (.mapx) file and individual Pro layer (.lyrx) files (for each GIS data layer), as well as with a 2.) 10.1 ArcMap (.mxd) map document (mima_bedrock_geology.mxd) and individual 10.1 layer (.lyr) files (for each GIS data layer). The OGC geopackage is supported with a QGIS project (.qgz) file. Upon request, the GIS data is also available in ESRI 10.1 shapefile format. MassGIS is working very closely with the State 911 Department in the state’s Executive Office of Public Safety and Security on the Next Generation 911 Emergency Call System. MassGIS developed and is maintaining the map and address information that are at the heart of this new system. Statewide deployment of this new 9-1-1 call routing system was completed in 2018.Address sources include the Voter Registration List from the Secretary of the Commonwealth, site addresses from municipal departments (primarily assessors), and customer address lists from utilities. Addresses from utilities were “anonymized” to protect customer privacy. The MAD was also validated for completeness using the Emergency Service List (a list of telephone land line addresses) from Verizon.The MAD contains both tabular and spatial data, with addresses being mapped as point features. At present, the MAD contains 3.2 million address records and 2.2 million address points. As the database is very dynamic with changes being made daily, the data available for download will be refreshed weekly.A Statewide Addressing Standard for Municipalities is another useful asset that has been created as part of this ongoing project. It is a best practices guide for the creation and storage of addresses for Massachusetts Municipalities.Points features with each point having an address to the building/floor/unit level, when that information is available. Where more than one address is located at a single location multiple points are included (i.e. "stacked points"). The points for the most part represent building centroids. The Master List of Schools is a record of all schools in South Africa. The data forms part of the national Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) database used to inform education policymakers and managers in the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and the Provincial education departments, as well as to provide valuable information to external stakeholders. The list is maintained by provincial departments and regularly sent to DBE for updating. A key function of the master list is to uniquely identify each school in the country through a school identifier called the EMIS number. Additionally, the list contains data on school quintiles - categories (quintiles) based on the socioeconomic status of the community in which the school is situated. Analyses comparing schools' performance often use school quintiles as control measures for socioeconomic status, to take into account the effect of, for example, poor infrastructure, shortage of materials and deprived home backgrounds on school performance. There are also other basic data fields in the school master list that could provide the means to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about learner enrolment, teachers and learner-teacher ratio of schools. It is a useful dataset for education planners and researchers and is even widely used in the private sector by those who regularly deal with schools.

Data from the SNAP survey and ANA that are used to compile the Master List of Schools is collected with a survey questionnaire and educator forms. The principle completes the survey questionnaire and each educator (both state paid and other) in each school completes an educator form. Schools record their EMIS number provided by the DBE on the questionnaire and form for identification.
The 2023 series only includes data for quarter 2 and quarter 3. The GIS coordinates for schools in the Eastern Cape are incorrectly entered in the original data from the DBE. The data entered in the GIS_long variable is incorrectly entered into the GIS_lat variable. This issue only occurs for schools in the Eastern Cape (EC), all other GIS coordinates for all the other provinces is correct. Therefore, for geospatial analysis, users can swap the GIS coordiate data only for the Eastern Cape.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Corporate Master Table (CMT) is the official source of Service organization codes and related information. Information in the CMT includes, but is not limited to, organization codes, organization names, Federal Budget Management System (FBMS), cost center codes, fire unit identifiers, program names, mailing and physical/shipping addresses, telephone and fax numbers as well as latitude and longitude coordinates. The CMT enables all Service automated systems to utilize a corporate data set of known quality, eliminating the workload required to maintain each system's data set, and thereby facilitating data sharing. Other customers for the CMT are Service personnel who maintain directories, communicate with Congress and with the Public, maintain World Wide Web sites, etc. These spatial data were created using the information in the CMT. The CMT contains location information on all the offices within the Service that have an organization code. Unstaffed offices and some other facilities may not be included. The latitude and longitude points used are usually the location of the main administrative site. The latitude and longitude data is not completely verified but is the best we have at this time. This data set is intended to give an overview of where USFWS has stations across the United States and Territories, including locations outside the 50 states. It is not intended to be the exact location of every USFWS office. The CMT is primarily used for accounting purposes and therefore one location in the CMT can represent many different offices. Some points are duplicates where a station, most usually an Ecological Field Office, may be associated with more than one USFWS program. Properties located within the boundaries are subject to the requirements and regulations per the overlay plan in addition to other City standards and policies. If the overlay plan is silent to or does not address a specific issue or topic, the underlying Small Area Plan applies.

Data set that contains information on archaeological remains of the pre historic settlement of the Letolo valley on Savaii on Samoa. It is built in ArcMap from ESRI and is based on previously unpublished surveys made by the Peace Corps Volonteer Gregory Jackmond in 1976-78, and in a lesser degree on excavations made by Helene Martinsson Wallin and Paul Wallin. The settlement was in use from at least 1000 AD to about 1700- 1800. Since abandonment it has been covered by thick jungle. However by the time of the survey by Jackmond (1976-78) it was grazed by cattle and the remains was visible. The survey is at file at Auckland War Memorial Museum and has hitherto been unpublished. A copy of the survey has been accessed by Olof Håkansson through Martinsson Wallin and Wallin and as part of a Masters Thesis in Archeology at Uppsala University it has been digitised.
Olof Håkansson has built the data base structure in the software from ESRI, and digitised the data in 2015 to 2017. One of the aims of the Masters Thesis was to discuss hierarchies. To do this, subsets of the data have been displayed in various ways on maps. Another aim was to discuss archaeological methodology when working with spatial data, but the data in itself can be used without regard to the questions asked in the Masters Thesis. All data that was unclear has been removed in an effort to avoid errors being introduced. Even so, if there is mistakes in the data set it is to be blamed on the researcher, Olof Håkansson.
