MassGIS' standardized ("Level 3") property tax parcel mapping data set was developed through a competitive procurement funded by MassGIS. Each community in the Commonwealth was bid on by one or more vendors and the unit of work awarded was a city or town. The specification for this work was Level 3 of the MassGIS Digital Parcel Standard. Standardization of assessor parcel mapping is complete for all 351 Massachusetts' cities and towns. MassGIS is now incorporating updates from municipalities into the database. This hosted feature layer is exported from MassGIS' internal database of the feature class GISDATA.L3_TAXPAR_POLY_ASSESS, which links L3_TAXPAR_POLY and L3_ASSESS. The export includes the expression: (POLY_TYPE IN ('FEE', 'TAX')) OR (POLY_TYPE IN ('ROW', 'PRIV_ROW', 'RAIL_ROW', 'WATER') AND PROP_ID IS NOT NULL) It contains several fields from GISDATA.L3_ASSESS and stacked polygons where multiple assessor records link to a parcel. It contains features that do not have an associated record in GISDATA.L3_ASSESS, except for rights of way and water bodies. ROWs and water bodies with a non-null PROP_ID are included. The data in this feature layer is used for the popups in the Massachusetts Interactive Property Map. This lookup tool has been developed to provide quick access to the property information stored in the City-Parish GIS database. Users can search by Address, Subdivision Name, Business Name, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, or Lot Identification Number to find detailed information about property. Enter the required information in one of the search fields as shown in the example below each field. Next, click the button adjacent to the search criteria, and the search results will be displayed beneath the lookup tools in tabular format. Clicking on one of the search result records will invoke a new window with details about the property. The property details may then be printed and/or exported to a comma-separated values (CSV) file.

Property map viewer for the State of Tennessee that covers 85 of the 95 counties in Tennessee.This application allows for searching and displaying property ownership and location information for 87 counties in Tennessee. It is designed to work in concert with the Real Estate Assessment Data site operated by the Comptroller of the Treasury. The following counties are not available in this application but can be found on their own internet sites: Bradley, Davidson (Metro Nashville), Hamilton (Chattanooga), Knox (Knoxville), Montgomery (Clarksville), Rutherford(Murfreesboro), Shelby (Memphis), Sumner, Unicoi, and Williamson.

Boundaries data are acquired from a variety of government sources. The data represents the source data with minimal editing or review by USGS." Statewide Property Inventory started in 1989 per legislation 11011.15, to begin a pro-active approach to managing the State’s Real Property assets in a computerized format. Having the information in an electronic format makes it available to top level decision-makers considering options for the best use of these assets. The Statewide Property Inventory is mandated to capture detailed information on the following: land owned and leased by the state, structures owned and leased by the state, property the state leases to the private sector. Statewide Property Inventory was established in 1988 by legislative mandate. Leases were added in 2004 by executive order. Data is updated annually by the agencies. This layer package contains GIS data in Esri file geodatabase format. This data is also available for download as a zip archive in shapefile format.Digital parcel files for the Town of Amherst, MA as of December 31, 2013. The Town converted its existing analog tax maps to digital format in 1998. At the time of conversion, tax maps consisted of 108 27"x39" mylar sheets at 1"=100', originally created in 1957 from controlled and rectified photography taken by Air Survey Inc. (VA) in 1956. The tax maps were scanned, and digital line files were created with text annotation. The new line files were then overlayed onto digital color orthophotos produced in 1999, and updated, by first matching road right-of-ways, then adjusting all parcel boundaries. This data set is a spatial view that is created through a one-to-many join between TOA_Parcels_Poly and TOA_CAMA_TABLE. The join is through Map & Lot, which creates stacked parcel polygons in cases where there are multiple block numbers (accounts) for one parcel; this occurs primarily with condominium complexes, as well as with properties with agricultural preservation restrictions. This data set is refreshed on a nightly basis & reflects current information from the Town of Amherst Assessor's Vision Appraisal Database.

Download In State Plane Projection Here ** In addition to the Tax Parcel polygons feature class, the hyperlink download above also contains a parcel point data layer ** Parcel boundaries are developed from deeds, plats of subdivision and other legal documents going back to the mid 1800's, following generally accepted practices used in Public Land Survey System states, and following guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Revenue and the International Association of Assessment Officials. Lake County's parcel coverage is based on resolving the accumulated evidence of all of the legal documents surrounding a particular parcel or subdivision, and not the result of a countywide resurvey. These parcel boundaries are intended to be a visual inventory of property for tax and other administrative purposes; they are not intended to be used in place of an on-site survey or for the precise determination of property corners or PLSS features based on GIS coordinates. In Illinois, only a registered professional land surveyor is authorized to determine boundary locations. Included are the tax parcel boundaries, represented as polygons and centroids, for all changes resulting from legal records submitted to the Recorder of Deeds up to December 31st of the preceding year, as well as any court orders, municipal annexations and other transactions which impact the tax parcel boundaries. NOTE: The ONLY attribute included is the Property Index Number, or PARCEL_NUM. Additional assessment attribute data can be downloaded here This parcel layer is used for tax assessment purposes and for a variety of other local government functions. It changes often, both spatially and in its attribution, based on divisions or consolidations, the sale of property and other transactions. Example: PIN 08-17-304-014 can be interpreted as follows: Township 08, Section 17, Block 304, Parcel 014. Note that the first digit of block, "3" in this example, signifies that the parcel lies in quarter section 3. The quarter sections are labeled from 1 through 4, representing the northwest, northeast, southwest and southeast quarter sections, respectively.    Description


   Assessments & Taxation (A&T) Database from MD Property View 2004 for Howard County. The A&T Database contains parcel data from the State Department of Assessments and Taxation; it incorporates parcel ownership and address information, parcel valuation information and basic information about the land and structure(s) associated with a given parcel. These data form the basis for the 2004 Database, which also includes selected Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) characteristics, text descriptions to make parcel code field data more readily accessible and logical True/False fields which identify parcels with certain characteristics. Documentation for A&T, including a thorough definition for all attributes is enclosed.    It should be noted that the A&T Database consists of points and not parcel boundaries. For those areas where parcel polygon data exists the A&T Database can be joined using the ACCTID or a concatenation of the BLOCK and LOT fields, whichever is appropriate. (Spaces may have to be excluded when concatenating the BLOCK and LOT fields).


   A cursory review of the 2004 version of the A&T Database indicates that it has more accurate data when compared with the 2003 version, particularly with respect to dwelling types. However, for a given record it is not uncommon for numerous fields to be missing attributes. Based on previous version of the A&T Database it is also not unlikely that some of the information is inaccurate. This layer was edited to remove points that did not have a valid location because they failed to geocode. There were 1160 such points. A listing of the deleted points is in the table with the suffix "DeletedRecords."

Editing in progress The following edits were performed: 1) Resolved edge matching issues with Baltimore County parcels that border it and fall within the Gwynns Falls Watershed. 2) BLOCKLOT errors were noted and if necessary corrected. The BLOCKLOT ID is used to link the parcel data to the MD Property View A&T database. It should be pointed out that in some instances a single BLOCKLOT ID in the Property View A&T database may correspond to more than one parcel. There are only 14 instances were a single BLOCKLOT ID corresponds to 4 or more parcels, these are typically railroads, utility, or government properties. In other cases a single BLOCKLOT ID may correspond to two separate parcels that are essentially one property bisected by a road. There are other instances where there appears no logical explanation for a single BLOCKLOT ID corresponding to multiple parcels.
