    Description

This data set contains landscape-scale greater sage-grouse management zones as defined by the Idaho Sage Grouse Task Force. The intended scale of use is 1:500,000. The data was developed through a collaborative process in looking at several GIS datasets. The dataset was digitized coarsely on the screen to roughly match the extent of the BLM PPH and PGH line work.

fields: [IDcat_rev1] = Core, Important, General, or Nonhabitat (areas that are islands of nonhabitat) Management Zones.

The Idaho Sage Grouse Task Force (SGTF) appointed by the Governor of Idaho, created an Idaho alternative in response to the BLM's, "A Framework to Identify Greater Sage-grouse Preliminary Priority Habitat and Preliminary General Habitat for Idaho" as seen at https://eplanning.blm.gov/epl-front-office/projects/lup/31652/38566/40466/Idaho_Sage-grouse_Priority_Areas_White_Paper_Final_April_26_2012_508.pdf.The SGTF split the BLM's designated PPH and PGH into 4 'Conservation Areas', two located north of the Snake River and two South. The Conservation Areas are split into Management Zones attributed with Core, Important, and General. This shapefile is supporting information for the content within the 'DRAFT Federal Alternative of Governor C.L. Butch Ottter for Greater Sage-Grouse Management in Idaho, June 28th, 2012' at https://gov.idaho.gov/mediacenter/execorders/eo15/Appendix%201%20(govs%20alt.%20and%20supporting%20docs).pdf

    Description

These maps show for the first time an accurate georeferenced mosaic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau and their respective corresponding shallow water areas. Shallow-water (generally, less than 30 meters) bank and land areas in these areas were identified through analysis of Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite imagery. The mosaics are laid over ETOPO2 Bathymetric Data to provide an enhanced understanding of how the Atolls and Islands fit together. In addition selected islands and atolls are shown next to the mosaic. This project was conducted in support of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force. Data in this accession are best used with appropriate Geographic Information System (GIS) software.

    Description

In the fall of 2013, the Detroit Blight Removal Task Force commissioned Data Driven Detroit, the Michigan Nonprofit Association, and LOVELAND Technologies to conduct a survey of every parcel in the City of Detroit. The goal of the survey was to collect data on property condition and vacancy. The effort, called Motor City Mapping, leveraged relationships with the Rock Ventures family of companies and the Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation to assemble a dedicated team of over 200 resident surveyors, drivers, and quality control associates. Data collection occurred from December 4, 2013 until February 16, 2014, and the initiative resulted in survey information for over 370,000 parcels of land in the city of Detroit, identifying condition, occupancy, and use. The data were then extensively reviewed by the Motor City Mapping quality control team, a process that concluded on September 30, 2014.

This file contains the official certified results from the Winter 2013/2014 survey, aggregated to 2010 Census Tracts for easy mapping and analysis. The topics covered in the dataset include totals and calculated percentages for parcels in the categories of illegal dumping, fire damage, structural condition, existence of a structure or accessory structure, and improvements on lots without structures.Metadata associated with this file includes field description metadata and a narrative summary documenting the process of creating the dataset.

    Description

description: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) is tasked with the coral mapping element of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force (CRTF) under the authority of Executive Order 13089. NOS is responsible for coral reef mapping in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northwest Hawaiian Islands, the Main Eight Hawaiian Islands, and the U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States of the Pacific. Space Imaging, Inc (SI) and Analytical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLC (ALH) has produced GIS-compatible benthic habitat digital maps of the Republic of Palau using the classification scheme defined by NOAA. The map products produced through this project include baseline data of U.S. coral reefs, location of coral reef boundaries and overall coral reef cover, and the geomorphologic structure in and around coral reef systems. Maps include the 9 major and 23 detailed biological cover types, 4 major and 14 detailed geomorphological structure types, and 15 mutually exclusive zones specified in NOAA's hierarchical classification manual for coastal waters of the Republic of Palau. Benthic habitats are delineated from the coastline to water depths of 30 meters in GIS using manual interpretation techniques. NOAA utilizes IKONOS Multispectral (MSI) Satellite Imagery from Space Imaging, Inc., consisting of both newly acquired and archived imagery. The imagery consists of 1m panchromatic and 4m MSI with a horizontal accuracy of at least 5m CE95 at 1:4,800 National Map Accuracy Standard (NMAS). Once the imagery is processed, NOAA will use ALH's hand-digitize GIS approach to produce the benthic habitat maps at a minimum mapping unit of one acre, as well as NOAA's preferred random stratified accuracy assessment method.; abstract: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) is tasked with the coral mapping element of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force (CRTF) under the authority of Executive Order 13089. Description

The Wildland Fire Interagency Geospatial Services (WFIGS) Group provides authoritative geospatial data products under the interagency Wildland Fire Data Program. Hosted in the National Interagency Fire Center ArcGIS Online Organization (The NIFC Org), WFIGS provides both internal and public facing data, accessible in a variety of formats. This service includes perimeters for wildland fire incidents that meet the following criteria:Categorized in the IRWIN (Integrated Reporting of Wildland Fire Information) integration service as a Wildfire (WF) or Prescribed Fire (RX) recordFire Discovery Date is in the year 2025Is Valid and not "quarantined" in IRWIN due to potential conflicts with other recordsAttribution of the source polygon is set to a Feature Access of Public, a Feature Status of Approved, and an Is Visible setting of YesPerimeters are not available for every incident. For a complete set of features that meet the same IRWIN criteria, see the 2025 Wildland Fire Incident Locations to Date service. No "fall-off" rules are applied to this service. Criteria were determined by an NWCG Geospatial Subcommittee task group. Data are refreshed every 5 minutes. Changes in the perimeter source may take up to 15 minutes to display.Perimeters are pulled from multiple sources with rules in place to ensure the most current or most authoritative shape is used.Attributes and their definitions can be found below. More detail about the NWCG Wildland Fire Event Polygon standard can be found here.Attributes:poly_SourceOIDThe OBJECTID value of the source record in the source dataset providing the polygon.poly_IncidentNameThe incident name as stored in the polygon source record.poly_MapMethodThe mapping method with which the polygon was derived.poly_GISAcresThe acreage of the polygon as stored in the polygon source record.poly_CreateDateSystem generated date for the date time the source polygon record was created (stored in UTC).poly_DateCurrentSystem generated date for the date time the source polygon record was last edited (stored in UTC).poly_PolygonDateTimeRepresents the date time that the polygon data was captured.poly_IRWINIDIRWIN ID stored in the polygon record.poly_FORIDFORID stored in the polygon record.poly_Acres_AutoCalcSystem calculated acreage of the polygon (geodesic WGS84 acres).poly_SourceGlobalIDThe GlobalID value of the source record in the source dataset providing the polygon.poly_SourceThe source dataset providing the polygon.attr_SourceOIDThe OBJECTID value of the source record in the source dataset providing the attribution.attr_ABCDMiscA FireCode used by USDA FS to track and compile cost information for emergency initial attack fire suppression expenditures. for A, B, C & D size class fires on FS lands.attr_ADSPermissionStateIndicates the permission hierarchy that is currently being applied when a system utilizes the UpdateIncident operation.attr_ContainmentDateTimeThe date and time a wildfire was declared contained. attr_ControlDateTimeThe date and time a wildfire was declared under control.attr_CreatedBySystemArcGIS Server Username of system that created the IRWIN Incident record.attr_IncidentSizeReported for a fire.
