The 2021 short form Census questionnaire was sent out to 100% of all households. The 2021 long form Census questionnaire was sent out to 25% of all households. Because one is a census and one is a sample survey, variables that are available in both the 100% data and 25% sample may have different values. The United States Census Bureau conducts a Census of Governments every five years, in years ending in "2" or "7," to collect information about governments in the United States. The Finance Statistics branch of the 1997 Census of Governments describes the revenues, expenditures, debt, and assets of state and local governments. This data collection includes nine datasets, including individual unit data, county area data, and summaries by type-of-government (including several state summaries by individual types of governments). This data was collected for the individual government fiscal years that ended between July 1, 1996 and June 30, 1997.

This dataset lists the total population 18 years and older by census block in Connecticut before and after population adjustments were made pursuant to Public Act 21-13. PA 21-13 creates a process to adjust the U.S. Census Bureau population data to allow for most individuals who are incarcerated to be counted at their address before incarceration. Prior to enactment of the act, these inmates were counted at their correctional facility address.

The act requires the CT Office of Policy and Management (OPM) to prepare and publish the adjusted and unadjusted data by July 1 in the year after the U.S. census is taken or 30 days after the U.S. Census Bureau’s publication of the state’s data.

A report documenting the population adjustment process was prepared by a team at OPM composed of the Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Division (OPM CJPPD) and the Data and Policy Analytics (DAPA) unit. Note: On September 21, 2021, following the initial publication of the report, OPM and DOC revised the count of juveniles, reallocating 65 eighteen-year-old individuals who were incorrectly designated as being under age 18. After the DOC released the updated data to OPM, the report and this dataset were updated to reflect the revision.

This is a dataset of 2010 U.S. Census Block Groups within the City of Buffalo. Block Groups are statistical divisions of census tracts, are generally defined to contain between 600 and 3,000 people, and are used to present data and control block numbering. A block group consists of clusters of blocks within the same census tract that have the same first digit of their four-digit census block number. For example, blocks 3001, 3002, 3003, . . ., 3999 in census tract 1210.02 belong to BG 3 in that census tract.

This study contains economic and employment data at the county level for states and local governments in the United States in 1962 and 1967. Data are provided on total population, land area, general revenues, number of municipalities and local governments of all types, number of public school districts, and number of employees of local governments. Information is also provided on educational payrolls of local governments, average earnings of full-time teachers, water supply revenues and expenditures of local governments, local government general expenditures on public welfare, highways, health and hospitals, police and fire protection, natural resources, and urban renewal, long-term general debt outstanding of local schools and local governments, and per capita intergovernmental revenues and expenditures.
