    Description

The COVID-19 Guidance Questionnaire The COVID-19 Guidance Questionnaire is published on Government website. The opinion he provides has no medical value: its goal is to direct the respondent according to his or her health and symptoms towards the right behavior to adopt. The algorithm used to propose guidance is in line with documentation published by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, which reference also other solutions that comply with it. ### Data from the COVID-19 Guidance Questionnaire This data is published in open data to inform about the number of times the questionnaire has been completed to the end as well as the guidance messages sent. Data are grouped by week, department and age group. For each week/department/age class are indicated the number of responses obtained, the number of referrals to the UAS, the number of referrals to a consultation, and the number of messages indicating that the respondent should stay at home and monitor their health. The published ‘csv’ file will be updated weekly by adding the new data. The questionnaire was offline on 27 January 2021, so data runs until 26 January 2021.

This page outlines payments made to institutions for claims they have made to ESFA for various grants. These include, but are not exclusively, COVID-19 support grants. Information on funding for grants based on allocations will be on the specific page for the grant.

    Claim-based grants included

    Senior mental health lead training

Financial assistance towards the cost of training a senior member of school or college staff in mental health and wellbeing in the 2021 to 2022, 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025 financial years. The information provided is for payments up to the end of March 2025.

    COVID-19 16 to 19 tuition fund 2020 to 2021 and 2021 to 2022

Funding for eligible 16 to 19 institutions to deliver small group and/or one-to-one tuition for disadvantaged students and those with low prior attainment to help support education recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to continued pandemic disruption during academic year 2020 to 2021 some institutions carried over funding from academic year 2020 to 2021 to 2021 to 2022.

Therefore, any considerations of spend or spend against funding allocations should be considered across both years.

School funding: exceptional costs associated with coronavirus (COVID-19)

Financial assistance available to schools to cover increased premises, free school meals and additional cleaning-related costs associated with keeping schools open over the Easter and summer holidays in 2020, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) free school meals: additional costs

Financial assistance available to meet the additional cost of the provision of free school meals to pupils and students where they were at home during term time, for the period January 2021 to March 2021.

Alternative provision: year 11 transition funding

Financial assistance for alternative provision settings to provide additional transition support into post-16 destinations for year 11 pupils from June 2020 until the end of the autumn term (December 2020). This has now been updated to include funding for support provided by alternative provision settings from May 2021 to the end of February 2022.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) 2021 qualifications fund for schools and colleges

Financial assistance for schools, colleges and other exam centres to run exams and assessments during the period October 2020 to March 2021 (or for functional skills qualifications, October 2020 to December 2020). Now updated to include claims for eligible costs under the 2021 qualifications fund for the period October 2021 to March 2022.

    Context

The Open Data 500, funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation (http://www.knightfoundation.org/) and conducted by the GovLab, is the first comprehensive study of U.S. companies that use open government data to generate new business and develop new products and services.

    Study Goals

    • Provide a basis for assessing the economic value of government open data

    • Encourage the development of new open data companies

    • Foster a dialogue between government and business on how government data can be made more useful

    The Govlab's Approach

The Open Data 500 study is conducted by the GovLab at New York University with funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. The GovLab works to improve people’s lives by changing how we govern, using technology-enabled solutions and a collaborative, networked approach. As part of its mission, the GovLab studies how institutions can publish the data they collect as open data so that businesses, organizations, and citizens can analyze and use this information.

    Company Identification

The Open Data 500 team has compiled our list of companies through (1) outreach campaigns, (2) advice from experts and professional organizations, and (3) additional research.

    What The Study Is Not

The Open Data 500 is not a rating or ranking of companies. It covers companies of different sizes and categories, using various kinds of data.

The Open Data 500 is not a competition, but an attempt to give a broad, inclusive view of the field.

The Open Data 500 study also does not provide a random sample for definitive statistical analysis. Since this is the first thorough scan of companies in the field, it is not yet possible to determine the exact landscape of open data companies.

Notes on Local Authority Housing Statistics (LAHS) open data

These datafiles contain the underlying data used to create the main LAHS tables and reflect the latest revisions to historical LAHS data. There will therefore be some minor discrepancies when compared to individual historical publications of LAHS tables.

LAHS questions are represented in this open data file by the question codes as recorded in the latest form (the 2023-24 return). This may differ from the code they were originally assigned, but the aim is to facilitate a time series analysis. Variables that have been discontinued are usually not included in this file, with only a few exceptions where they provide information that helps understand other data.

A data dictionary for this open data can be found in the accessible Open Document Spreadsheet file
