It seems the level of trust in government by race varies significantly depending on who is in power, with the share of Black people in the U.S. who trust their government always or most of the time increasing to ** percent in a May 2024 survey. This compares to a high of ** percent in October 2011. These extremes correspond with the Biden and Obama presidencies, respectively.

This dataset provides an overview of government operations and stock positions, as well as several derived balances. The Statement of Government Operations shows revenue and expense, with their main components, the operating balance and net lending/net borrowing, as well as financing. The Balance sheet shows stock positions in assets and liabilities, with their main components, as well as net worth and net financial worth. In addition, data on gross debt and net debt are included.

Historical Employment Statistics 1990 - current. The Current Employment Statistics (CES) more information program provides the most current estimates of nonfarm employment, hours, and earnings data by industry (place of work) for the nation as a whole, all states, and most major metropolitan areas. The CES survey is a federal-state cooperative endeavor in which states develop state and sub-state data using concepts, definitions, and technical procedures prescribed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Estimates produced by the CES program include both full- and part-time jobs. Excluded are self-employment, as well as agricultural and domestic positions. In Connecticut, more than 4,000 employers are surveyed each month to determine the number of the jobs in the State. Statistics for the Communications and Media Unit for the last three years

During the first half of 2024, there were a total of 18,737 data requests for X (formerly Twittter) account information from governments with 3,329 of these were requested by the United States government. A further 2,726 were requested by the Japanese government, while 7,872 were requested by the European Union. Overall, 52.82 percent of these requests resulted in data being disclosed to the relevant authorities.

This table contains information on the finances of the general government sector. The terms and definitions used are in accordance with the framework of the National Accounts. The National Accounts are based on the international definitions of the European System of Accounts (ESA 2010). Small temporary differences with publications of the National Accounts may occur due to the fact that the government finance statistics are sometimes more up to date.

In this publication there are differences between the national accounts and government finance statistics in 2021. The national accounts will be aligned with government finance statistics on 24 June 2024.

Initial quarterly figures are published three months after the end of the quarter. In September the figures on the first quarter are revised, in December the figures on the second quarter are revised and in March the first three quarters are revised. Yearly figures are published for the first time three months after the end of the year concerned. Yearly figures are revised two times: 6 and 18 months after the end of the year. Please note that there is a possibility that adjustments might take place at the end of March or September, in order to provide the European Commission with the latest figures. Revised yearly figures are published in June each year. Quarterly figures are aligned to revised years at the end of June. 2018-2023 Statistics on the work of the Legal Department

Hydrographic and Impairment Statistics (HIS) is a National Park Service (NPS) Water Resources Division (WRD) project established to track certain goals created in response to the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA). One water resources management goal established by the Department of the Interior under GRPA requires NPS to track the percent of its managed surface waters that are meeting Clean Water Act (CWA) water quality standards. This goal requires an accurate inventory that spatially quantifies the surface water hydrography that each bureau manages and a procedure to determine and track which waterbodies are or are not meeting water quality standards as outlined by Section 303(d) of the CWA. This project helps meet this DOI GRPA goal by inventorying and monitoring in a geographic information system for the NPS: (1) CWA 303(d) quality impaired waters and causes; and (2) hydrographic statistics based on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). Hydrographic and 303(d) impairment statistics were evaluated based on a combination of 1:24,000 (NHD) and finer scale data (frequently provided by state GIS layers).

Local Government Statistics - General Statistics - Development Cost Charges (DCCs) and Building Permit Information - Municipality - 2008. The Statistics schedules consist of data provided to the ministry by local governments in annual financial reporting forms. While the ministry does perform checks of the data, we do not guarantee its accuracy or validity. Users should contact local governments directly if confirmation is required. Beginning in 2002 the schedules have been amended to reflect Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) for local governments, thus they differ greatly from previous years. Regional District statistics use the current year assessments supplied by BC Assessment in April and revised population estimates certified by the Minister responsible. Data for previous years may be requested electronically.
