It consists of addresses in current use from PSMA’s May 2018 release and covers all of Australia with over 14 million addresses in total. The data is made available in a pipe separated (PSV) format consisting of all the main elements of an address, including the latitude and longitude for identifying the location of each address. More information about each of the fields is available from the G-NAF May 2018 product description. This dataset will be available until the GovHack Red Carpet Awards night held in November 2018.

To support GovHack 2017, IP Australia has created a mini version of IPGOD (Demi-GOD) containing the last 10 years of IP Rights data.

The original data set, Intellectual Property Government Open Data (IPGOD) includes over 100 years of Intellectual Property (IP) rights administered by IP Australia comprising patents, trade marks, designs and plant breeder's rights.

The data is highly detailed, including information on each aspect of the application process from application through to granting of IP rights. We have published a paper to accompany IPGOD which describes the data and illustrates its use, as well as a technical paper on the firm matching. Links to these papers can be found in the Readme.

    Description

A parcel of land, usually the smallest unit of land that can be held under an individual lease without a requirement for further subdivision. Blocks in ACTMAPi are displayed as Urban and Rural blocks, and have been separated into individual layers based on its lifecycle stage (Registered, Approved, Proposed, Occupied and Retired). URBAN blocks are defined as blocks that appear within a division and have division and section identifiers. RURAL blocks do not usually appear within a division, but may do so if they remain from before the division was created. REGISTERED: The block appears on a Deposited Plan that has been registered with the Land Titles Office but is not RETIRED or DELETED. APPROVED: The block appears on an Approved Plan that has been signed by the Territory Planning Section and the Project Officer for the development, but the block is not REGISTERED, RETIRED or DELETED. PROPOSED: The block is proposed but has not reached any other stage. OCCUPIED: The block is leased, but does not appear on a registered plan. Leases over unregistered blocks may not be registered at the Land Titles Office, so this stage is used for unregistered blocks with unregistered leases. This normally only occurs in rural areas. RETIRED: Retirement of a block occurs when it is replaced by another block.

    Description

A spring is a hydrogeological feature by which groundwater discharges naturally to the land or cave surface. This includes springs with permanent and non-permanent (i.e. intermittent or ephemeral) saturation regimes, dynamic or static geographic locations, and diffuse or point source geographic locations. The Queensland Springs Database provides a comprehensive catalogue of springs with a permanently saturated saturation regime that have fixed locations in Queensland and any associated surface expression groundwater dependent ecosystems. This precludes soaks that are not permanent, bores (because they are not natural), wells that do not have a surface expression of groundwater, and groundwater discharge along a stream-bed that is not in a fixed location. The springs dataset also includes other types of springs (e.g. springs with a non-permanent or unsaturated saturation regime), however, information on these types of springs may be limited. Information is available including location, grouping (e.g. complex and supergroup), associated regional ecosystem, source aquifer, conservation rankings, physical properties, general morphology, water chemistry (incomplete dataset), floristic composition, disturbance, faunal composition, survey effort, etc.
