Data are available for download at http://arcticdata.io/data/10.18739/A2MG7FX35 To download all files in the command line, run the following command in a terminal: wget -r -np -nH --cut-dirs=3 -R '\?C=' -R robots.txt http://arcticdata.io/data/10.18739/A2MG7FX35 To download only a subdirectory of the archived files, add the subdirectory to the end of the URL above. The circum-Arctic permafrost and ground ice data from Brown et al. 2002 contributes to a unified international data set that depicts the distribution and properties of permafrost and ground ice in the Northern Hemisphere (20 degrees North to 90 degrees North). This data is archived at the National Snow and Ice data center: https://nsidc.org/data/ggd318/versions/2. A subset of this dataset that represents permafrost and ground ice coverage from approximately 60 degrees North to 90 degrees north was processed and visualized for the Permafrost Discovery Gateway, an online platform that aims to make big geospatial permafrost data accessible to enable knowledge-generation by researchers and the public. The data subset was cleaned, and the geometries were reprojected and processed into GeoPackage tiles that conform to the WGS1984Quad Tile Matrix Set. The GeoPackages are then rasterized at a range of zoom levels with summarized permafrost and ground ice coverage attributes for the lower zoom levels. Researchers, policy-makers, students, and community members can explore this data dynamically of the Permafrost Discovery Gateway Imagery Viewer and overlay it with other geospatial data layers. Description

The U.S. Interagency Elevation Inventory (USIEI) displays high-accuracy topographic and bathymetric data for the United States and its territories. The project is a collaborative effort between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the U.S. Geological Survey, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Natural Resources Conservation Service and U.S. Forest Service, the National Park Service, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This resource is a comprehensive, nationwide listing of known high-accuracy topographic data, including lidar and IfSAR, and bathymetric data, including NOAA hydrographic surveys, multibeam data, and bathymetric lidar. This zip file contains the attribute information and footprints about the data sets that are displayed in the Topographic Lidar, Topobathy Shoreline Lidar, IfSAR Data, and Bathymetric Lidar layers in the USIEI viewer. This does not include the elevation data itself. The data are provided in Esri file geodatabase format (gdb) and in the open format of OGC GeoPackage (gpkg). The data is also available via this map service: https://coast.noaa.gov/arcgis/rest/services/USInteragencyElevationInventory/USIEIv2/MapServer. The data is updated quarterly. The information provided for each elevation data set includes many attributes such as vertical accuracy, point spacing, and date of collection. A direct link to access the data or information about the contact organization is also available through the inventory. The footprints in this data set are generalized to represent the coverage of the collection. If the exact data coverage is needed, please contact the data provider for an authoritative footprint. The fields in the gdb and gpkg are in four tables. The fields in each table are listed in the Entity Attribute Overview field.

    Description

This upload contains a geopackage file, R code, Readme file and an HTML-based platform with interactive maps created using the geopackage and R code within the ForVie project (Forme et vieillissement au sein de la Métropole d'Aix-Marseille-Provence). This upload presents various data, indicators and interactive maps to help planners and policymakers to quickly identify patterns and trends related to aging within Aix-Marseille metropolis, France.

    Authors Perez, J & Boyer, T. Université Côte d'Azur, UMR 7300 ESPACE-CNRS, Nice, France.

Files * AGING_AMP_INDICATORS.gpkg: The geopackage file contains spatial data used in the R code to create the maps. * code_R_platform_v1.0_ForVie.R: The R code used to create the interactive maps. * ForVie_platform_v1.0.html: The platform for visualizing the interactive maps.

Instructions To use this upload, follow these steps: 1. Download the geopackage file, R code, and index.html file. 2. Open the R code in RStudio or another R environment. 3. Install any necessary packages as listed in the first section of the R code. 4. Run the code in R to create the HTML-based platform with interactive maps Alternatively, it is possible to directly open the ForVie_platform_v1.0.html file in a web browser to view the maps.

Acknowledgment This research was funded by a grant from Région Sud, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France (ForVie).
