This is the zoning designations for the City of Grand Island and it's extra-territorial jurisdiction. There are also five zoning overlay codes which will overlap zoning designations and have additional requirements or specifications that are detailed at Chapter 36 of the Grand Island City CodeThe five zoning overlays are:A - Airport ZoneB2-AC - Arterial Commercial Overlay ZoneGateway CorridorM - Manufactured Home Overlay ZoneMD - Manufactured Home Overlay Zone

This feature class contains zoning and current land use data for parcels within the City of Grand Junction, Colorado. Zoning descriptions and standards are outlined in Chapter 21.03 of the Grand Junction Zoning and Development Code. The City GIS maintains a model that updates zoning every week to reflect any changes that occur in parcel boundaries at the County level. Any zoning overlay standards supersede the base zoning standards where they exist. Current land use is determined from the most up-to-date air photos obtained by either the City of Grand Junction or Mesa County.

Future Annexation Areas- Area's identified for the City to enable future City growth. Area Structure Plans (ASPs) provide a framework for the development of lands for commercial, industrial and residential purposes. County-created Area Structure Plans result from the County identifying an area which, due to existing development on adjacent lands or a vision for the area, would benefit from being part of an Area Structure Plan.Transportation Levy Zones - Zones which differentiate the adopted rates for construction costs for new and expanded roads.Zoning- Zoning information in all areas of the County.Development Permits - zoning, subdivision, development permitsSafety Codes Permits - Safety Code permits in the County.Growth Study - Information relevant to the Growth Study. For Service types, W=Water only, W&S = Water and Sewer, Water Poss = There is an opportunity to hook up to water.
