    Description

    Steps to Order River Discharge Time Series 1.Read the Policy Guidelines and agree to the GRDC User Declaration. 2.Examine the GRDC station maps (see right margin) to see whether GRDC data may be useful for your research project. 3.Download the GRDC Catalogue (XLS) from the catalogue menu item, or the KMZ files for use with Google Earth, and select your stations of interest. 4.Prepare a list of selected stations and indicate the time period of interest, ideally in standard text (DOS ASCII) or MS-Excel format (XLS). Alternatively, you can use the GRDC order form (see right margin) for your data request. 5.Write an explanatory summary of your research project (one page). 6.Send Order Form, Station List, and Project Summary to the GRDC, preferably via e-mail (mailto: grdc@bafg.de). 7.Please do not forget to send the signed User Declaration. Send it to the GRDC via fax (+49 261 13065722). Alternatively to fax letter, electronic formats like PDF or a graphic format will be accepted.

    Description

    The Long-Term Mean Monthly Discharges and Annual Characteristics offer basic statistics of all stations being represented in the Global Runoff Database: annual means, lowest, and highest monthly discharges for individual years, long-term mean, lowest, and highest monthly discharges of time series with at least five years of observation each with at least ten monthly values, long-term inner-annual mean, lowest and highest monthly discharges of time series with at least five values of a specific month, and their standard deviations. Please note, that for time-series of daily discharge values from years with less than ten months and months with less than ten days missing, no statistics are provided. The monthly primary values are provided station by station as ASCII-text files, named with pvm-prefix and station numbers. For download, all files are grouped by WMO Regions.

    Description

    De langsigtede gennemsnitlige månedlige udledninger og årlige karakteristika tilbyder grundlæggende statistikker over alle stationer, der er repræsenteret i Global Runoff Database: årlige gennemsnit, laveste og højeste månedlige udledninger for de enkelte år — langtidsgennemsnit, laveste og højeste månedlige udledninger af tidsserier med mindst fem års observation hver med mindst ti månedlige værdier — langtidsintern årsgennemsnit, laveste og højeste månedlige udledninger af tidsserier med mindst fem værdier i en bestemt måned og deres standardafvigelser.

    De månedlige primære værdier leveres station efter station som ASCII-tekstfiler, navngivet med pvm-præfiks og station numre. Til download er alle filer grupperet af WMO Regioner. Bemærk venligst, at der kun foreligger statistikker for tidsserier af daglige udledningsværdier fra år med mindre end ti måneder og måneder, hvor der mangler mindre end ti dage.
