Geographic Information System (GIS) data with the following mapping layers from the Greenbelt Plan:
The data also contains associated policy designation mapping.
The dataset titled "Greenbelt Plan mapping" falls under the domain of Economy and was published on January 11, 2020. It is owned by the Government of Ontario and the contact point for access is the same government body, specifically the Municipal Affairs and Housing department. The dataset is categorized under several tags including Economics and Industry, Economy and Business, Environment and energy, Government information, Housing Communities and Social Support, Housing Potential, and Infrastructure and Transportation. The dataset's owning organization within the CUDC is also the Government of Ontario. The dataset provides Geographic Information System (GIS) data with various mapping layers from the Greenbelt Plan. These layers include outer boundaries, protected countryside and urban river valley designations, specialty crop areas (Niagara tender fruit, grape area and Holland Marsh), settlement areas (towns, villages and hamlets), and river valley connections. The dataset also includes associated policy designation mapping. The source of the dataset is provided and it is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Ontario. The resources available in the dataset are Shapefiles. The metadata for this dataset was created on October 1, 2024, and was last modified on April 8, 2025.

These ESRI shape files are of National Park Service tract and boundary data that was created by the Land Resources Division. Tracts are numbered and created by the regional cartographic staff at the Land Resources Program Centers and are associated to the Land Status Maps. This data should be used to display properties that NPS owns and properties that NPS may have some type of interest such as scenic easements or right of ways.

This is a point dataset representing City of Boise Greenbelt map locations. A Greenbelt map is a sign along the Boise River that shows a map of the user's location relative to the system. The Greenbelt is a 25-mile pathway system, primarily along the Boise River. The Greenbelt has map signage along its length that is intended to both guide and orient visitors during use. The data was created by the City of Boise. The data is updated as needed. It is current to the date of publication. For more information about the Boise Greenbelt please visit City of Boise Parks & Recreation.

The agricultural land base for the Greater Golden Horseshoe is comprised of prime agricultural areas, including specialty crop areas, and rural lands that together create a continuous, productive land base for agriculture. The Province has issued the agricultural land base map as enabled by the Greenbelt Plan, 2017; the Growth Plan, 2017; the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, 2017; and the Niagara Escarpment Plan, 2017. The agricultural land base mapping is to be used in conjunction with the Agricultural System policies in provincial plans, Implementation Procedures for the Agricultural System in the Greater Golden Horseshoe, and the Agricultural System Portal as a framework to protect farmland, while supporting the viability of the agri-food sector. A council development plan may designate a green belt around a city or town to support the spatial strategy by: - directing development to the most appropriate locations and supporting regeneration; - protecting and enhancing the character, landscape setting and identity of the settlement; and - protecting and providing access to open space. This dataset has been developed as a polygon layer.
