    Description

In the Spring of 2024, Greene County obtained new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/- 416 sq. mi). The aerial imagery was collected during leaf-off conditions with a 3-inch pixel resolution. Imagery was collected with the DMC-4 Airborne Digital Sensor. Along the perimeter of the project area, ortho-imagery is buffered at 100-feet. The orthos are delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 1,250 ft x 1,250 ft uncompressed 8-bit, 4-band color GeoTIFF files. The file naming convention is as follows: bsxxxxyyyy (Ohio South Zone); Please note that xxxx and yyyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in state plane feet. Each GeoTIFF ortho file is approximately 100 megabytes in size. Additional deliverables include countywide color and color infrared MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x and 100x compressions), FGDC compliant metadata per file, and tile index provided in ESRI shapefile format. Ownership of the data products resides with Greene County and the state of Ohio. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain data. Date: (02-29-2024, 03-11-2024) Published Date: 06-24-2024 Greene County, OH has a goal to develop and/or update their existing orthoimagery geospatial dataset for use by city agencies, other levels of government, academia, and the general public, and to provide these datasets for inclusion to OGRIP. OGRIP is a State of Ohio resource for geographic information technology users.

    Description

The Digital Geologic-GIS Map of Greene County, Pennsylvania is composed of GIS data layers and GIS tables, and is available in the following GRI-supported GIS data formats: 1.) a 10.1 file geodatabase (grnc_geology.gdb), and a 2.) Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) geopackage. The file geodatabase format is supported with a 1.) ArcGIS Pro map file (.mapx) file (grnc_geology.mapx) and individual Pro layer (.lyrx) files (for each GIS data layer), as well as with a 2.) 10.1 ArcMap (.mxd) map document (grnc_geology.mxd) and individual 10.1 layer (.lyr) files (for each GIS data layer). Upon request, the GIS data is also available in ESRI 10.1 shapefile format. Contact Stephanie O'Meara (see contact information below) to acquire the GIS data in these GIS data formats. In addition to the GIS data and supporting GIS files, three additional files comprise a GRI digital geologic-GIS dataset or map: 1.) A GIS readme file (fone_geology_gis_readme.pdf), 2.) the GRI ancillary map information document (.pdf) file (fone_frhi_geology.pdf) which contains geologic unit descriptions, as well as other ancillary map information and graphics from the source map(s) used by the GRI in the production of the GRI digital geologic-GIS data for the park, and 3.) a user-friendly FAQ PDF version of the metadata (grnc_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Please read the fone_geology_gis_readme.pdf for information pertaining to the proper extraction of the GIS data and other map files. QGIS software is available for free at: https://www.qgis.org/en/site/. The data were completed as a component of the Geologic Resources Inventory (GRI) program, a National Park Service (NPS) Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Division funded program that is administered by the NPS Geologic Resources Division (GRD). For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: For a complete listing of GRI products visit the GRI publications webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/geologic-resources-inventory-products.htm. For more information about the Geologic Resources Inventory Program visit the GRI webpage: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/geology/gri,htm. At the bottom of that webpage is a "Contact Us" link if you need additional information. You may also directly contact the program coordinator, Jason Kenworthy (jason_kenworthy@nps.gov). Source geologic maps and data used to complete this GRI digital dataset were provided by the following: Pennsylvania Geological Survey. Detailed information concerning the sources used and their contribution the GRI product are listed in the Source Citation section(s) of this metadata record (grnc_geology_metadata.txt or grnc_geology_metadata_faq.pdf). Users of this data are cautioned about the locational accuracy of features within this dataset. Based on the source map scale of 1:50,000 and United States National Map Accuracy Standards features are within (horizontally) 25.4 meters or 83.3 feet of their actual _location as presented by this dataset. Users of this data should thus not assume the _location of features is exactly where they are portrayed in ArcGIS, QGIS or other software used to display this dataset. All GIS and ancillary tables were produced as per the NPS GRI Geology-GIS Geodatabase Data Model v. 2.3. (available at: https://www.nps.gov/articles/gri-geodatabase-model.htm).

    Description

This resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads Shapefile includes all features within the MTDB Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in MTDB that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

    Description

Publication Date: April 2025. This polygon layer is updated annually.

This layer contains 2024 parcel data only for NY State counties which gave NYS ITs Geospatatial Services permission to share this data with the public. Work to obtain parcel data from additional counties, as well as permission to share the data, is ongoing. To date, 36 counties have provided the Geospatial Services permission to share their parcel data with the public. Parcel data for counties which do not allow the Geospatial Services to redistribute their data must be obtained directly from those counties. Geospatial Services' goal is to eventually include parcel data for all counties in New York State.

Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2024 Assessment Roll tabular data Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel.

Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City data comes from NYC MapPluto which can be found here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page.

This layer displays when zoomed in below 1:37,051-scale.

This map service is available to the public.

Geometry accuracy varies by contributing county.

Thanks to the following counties that specifically authorized Geospatial Services to share their GIS tax parcel data with the public: Albany, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Cortland, Erie, Genesee, Greene, Hamilton, Lewis, Livingston, Montgomery, New York City (Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond), Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schuyler, Steuben, St Lawrence, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Wayne, and Westchester.

This data, indicating the supply class for Mohawk River Watershed tax parcels, was collected by Stone Environmental, Inc. for the New York State Department of State with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund. These data represent tax parcel boundaries. Data are meant for watershed planning purposes only. Mohawk River Watershed Coalition of Conservation Districts does not take responsibility for the overall content and/or spatial accuracy of the tax parcel data available for download on this page. You should always verify actual map data and information. The limitations and accuracy level of the data should be accounted for before using them in any analyses and their validity cannot be guaranteed.Parcel boundary data was acquired by county offices. Individual County and Town files were compiled to create a seamless coverage of Tax Parcels. Areas of overlap were eliminated by clipping to adjacent county boundaries. Attribute information of interest, property class code, residential development from 1945 to present (year built), sewer service code, and water service codes were obtained from the New York Office of Real Property Services (ORPS, accessed in November 2011). Description

The files linked to this reference are the geospatial data created as part of the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Current format is ArcGIS file geodatabase but older formats may exist as shapefiles. Classification was based on 50 quantitative field plots, which were placed across WICR in a stratified random manner based on qualitative field observation points, consideration of biophysical setting, and viewing of air photos. Mapping was based on a combination of image object generation and heads-up digitization of air photos on-screen. Accuracy assessment points obtained during 2012 verified that the map is 81.3% accurate across all classes. GIS Database 2011 - 2012: Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield = 1,975 acres (799 hectares) Base Imagery used for mapping (acquired by MoRAP): 2007-2009, Greene County, MO, leaf-off, true color, 2 ft 2009, Greene County, MO, leaf-on, Color Infrared, 1 m 2009, Greene County, MO, leaf-on, true color, 1 m Additional Imagery acquired and viewed by MoRAP: 1941 Panchromatic Aerial Photo 1936 Panchromatic Aerial Photo Minimum Mapping Unit = 0.5 hectares (ha) Total Size = 379 Polygons Average Polygon Size = 5.21 acres (2.1 ha) Overall Thematic Accuracy = 81.3% Project Completion Date: 11/2012
