For best practice, please refer to this page for the correct links. If any of the links are above are not functioning, please let us know at gis@hcc.govt.nz. This Stormwater dataset contains the following layers: Stormwater Abandoned Main (A stormwater main that is still in the ground, but is now disused and no longer forms part of the active network) Stormwater Abandoned Manhole (An opening in a pipe for the purpose of allowing operators or equipment access to the inside of the pipe that is still in the ground but is now disused and no longer forms part of the active network) Stormwater Asbuilts (Plans showing the location and alignment of basic stormwater infrastructure as it was actually constructed on site, as provided by the contractor or their representatives. Data has not yet been fully incorporated into the Council GIS or asset management system) Stormwater Attenuation and Treatment Device (A device used to provide temporary storage and the controlled release of storm water volumes. Located upstream of the receiving environment, devices such as wetlands and ponds may also incorporate a storm water treatment function) Stormwater Catchpit (A device that collects stormwater run-off from the road and transports it along the network) Stormwater Catchpit Lead (A pipe that transports stormwater run-off from catchpits and connects into the stormwater network) Stormwater Channel (An open drain, natural watercourse (such as a stream) or lined channel that collects stormwater run-off from the environment or network) Stormwater Inlet (A structure where stormwater enters either a pipe, pond, culvert or channel) Stormwater Main (A pipe that transports stormwater to a natural watercourse or body of water) Stormwater Manhole (An opening in a pipe for the purpose of allowing operators or equipment access to the inside of the pipe) Stormwater Node (A junction point in a pipe. It can be a structure) Stormwater Outlet (A structure at the end of a pipe or channel that controls the flow of stormwater to a natural watercourse or body of water)Stormwater Service Line (A gravity flow pipeline connecting a building’s direct runoff collection system to a stormwater pipe or a kerb (in the case of kerb and channel connections)) Stormwater Soakage Trench (A subsurface structure into which runoff is conveyed for disposal by infiltration) Stormwater Subsoil Drain (A perforated drain used to collect ground water and transport it to a land drainage or stormwater drainage system) Hamilton City Council 3 Waters data is derived from the Council’s GIS (ArcGIS) dataset. The GIS dataset is synchronised with asset data contained in the Council’s Asset Management (IPS) database. A subset of the GIS dataset has been made available for download. The Auditor Books and Pages layer shows the boundaries of the Hamilton County Auditor's Tax Maps Book and Page. These maps act as an index to show property (parcels) throughout Hamilton County, Ohio. The Book numbers correspond to the villages, cities, and townships in the county and are further subdivided into page numbers for each distinct map.Up until the advent of G.I.S. technology these individual maps were maintained by the Hamilton County Engineer in large books. Each property in Hamilton County is assigned a parcel number. The first characters of a parcel number reflect the Book and Page to which it belongs.

This layer displays the property boundaries owned by Hamilton County. Information regarding each property can be found on the Hamilton Auditor's County, by entering the owner's name, the parcel ID, or the street address. The auditor's website provides regarding the tax district, the school district, the owner name and address, the land use, the appraisal information, the assessed value, and the property description, amongst other information. This layer doesn't display when zoomed out beyond 1:18,000.

The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national filewith no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line File is designed to stand alone as an independent dataset, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The Area Hydrography Shapefile contains the geometry and attributes of both perennial and intermittent area hydrography features, including ponds, lakes, oceans, swamps (up to the U.S. nautical three-mile limit), glaciers, and the area covered by large rivers, streams, and/or canals that are represented as double-line drainage. Single-line drainage water features can be found in the Linear Hydrography Shapefile (LINEARWATER.shp). Linear water features includes single-line drainage water features and artificial path features, where they exist, that run through double-line drainage features such as rivers, streams, and/or canals, and serve as a linear representation of these features.
The 2024 Hamilton County High-Resolution 2D and 3D Land Cover Dataset provides an accurate and detailed representation of land cover across the entire county. The 2024 Hamilton County High-Resolution 2D and 3D Land Cover Dataset delivers an accurate and comprehensive representation of land cover throughout the county. Developed using Ecopia's advanced AI-driven feature extraction technology, this dataset makes use of 3-inch resolution aerial imagery and additional geospatial data sources such as lidar to provide precise land cover classifications at a high granularity. The resulting vector dataset is available at a 3-inch resolution, enabling detailed spatial analysis and supporting a range of governmental applications, including urban planning, environmental management, infrastructure development, and emergency response. All mapping products associated with this project are prepared and delivered in North American Datum 1983 (NAD83) 2011, Indiana State Plane Coordinate System, East Zone (EPSG 6459).Purpose: This dataset is intended to support key GIS activities aimed at enhancing county operations and decision-making, including hydrological modeling, urban planning, emergency response, infrastructure development, and environmental management. The data has undergone rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all land cover classifications.
