    This map layer, Impacted_HistoricDistrictRoads, shows the historic roads in the Brown Grove Rural Historic District that are predicted to be impacted by the development of the Wegmans distribution site. Data from Hanover County’s GIS Data Hub and the Brown Grove Preservation Group were used in creating this map layer.Source and date:Brown Grove Preservation Group, and the published Traffic Count Analysis, provided predictions on which streets would be impacted by the project. Hanover County’s streets layer was downloaded from Hanover County’s GIS Data Hub as a shapefile. Accessed October 2022.Purpose:Hanover County’s streets layer was created in order to provide geographical information on streets in the county. Brown Grove Preservation Group created predictions on impacted roads in order to show the severity of impact on the Wegman site’s surrounding area.ABRA Processing:ABRA created this feature layer by extracting the specified roads, given by Brown Grove Preservation Group, from Hanover County’s streets layer.Symbolization:The following symbolization is how it appears in the Brown Grove Wegmans Draft online map provided by ABRA.Impacted roads: yellow polylines, labeled with their names

    Description

    Since 2020, the NC Orthoimagery Program has collected 4-band imagery (red, green, blue, near infrared) to support image analysis. The 2024 imagery collection includes the 27 counties representing the Coastal Plain region of North Carolina. This version of the data is presented as true color (red, green, blue) imagery and is best used for general or background viewing. The imagery was flown in early 2024 as part of the NC Orthoimagery Program and has a pixel resolution of 6 inches. The RMSE is 1.0 ft X and Y.

    NOTE: DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE IMAGERY BY USING THE MAP OR DOWNLOAD TOOLS ON THIS ARCGIS HUB ITEM PAGE. IT WILL RESULT IN A PIXELATED ORTHOIMAGE.     This web map is utilized by Richmond National Battlefield Park"s (RICH) and Petersburg National Battlefield (PETE) staff, stakeholders, researchers, and interested parties. This web map contains georeferenced images digitized by the National Archives; these images are high-resolution scans of the original 19th century military maps produced by Nathaniel Michler (1827-1881) and his team of mapmakers and engineers. RICH park units encompassed in these maps include Beaver Dam Creek, Chickahominy Bluff, Chimborazo Hospital, Cold Harbor, Drewry"s Bluff, Fort Harrison, Gaines" Mill, Glendale, Malvern Hill, and Parker"s Battery; these units span across Hanover, Henrico, and Chesterfield Counties, Virginia.     This feature layer contains location data for Smith Mills dam. This feature layer was created to make the map (Smith Mills Dam Map) that is used in a StoryMap (Removal of Smith Mills Dam) that guides viewers through a complex dam removal project from start to finish. Smith Mills dam is located along Silver Creek in the Town of Hanover, Chautauqua County, New York. The project was a collaboration between the Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District, Village of Silver Creek, Town of Hanover, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from the Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office.
